hey

so i know that re8 is pretty much dead (lmao that dlc fucking sucked) and i disappeared without a trace over a year ago, but i dreamt about this blog and for anyone who is still here i guess i wanted to come back real quick to explain why i vanished. some people already know, but for those of you that don't, last summer my mom died abruptly from medical malpractice. it was an incredibly traumatic and upsetting event that literally changed my life. i hit some very low points in life and let's leave it at that. but i've bounced back slowly.

obviously, rp was the last thing on my mind. i've had a hard time with this blog especially because it was the last one i was on at the time of this traumatic event. i've had a difficult time trying to come back, and knowing that the dash is dead anyway means i think i can safely say i'm done with this blog. i won't delete it, i'm very proud of my writing here, and i may even change my mind someday but i am doubtful of that.

i've been back since on a multi, @lovesigned, and even then my activity is sporadic. it's also predominantly anime muses (ie naruto, jjba, etc) so i don't know if that's anyone's vibe. donna & angie can theoretically appear on this multi, since i do whatever the hell i want with it, but that depends if anyone of my moots from here show up on that dash.

in short, i did have an amazing time and met some incredibly talented people & wonderful friends. i wish i had been able to ride out the re8 hype until the bitter end with you all.

The village has very few things to do for children, which means that Fleur has spent much of the trip so far sulking, scrunched into a corner of her father’s caravan with her book on dinosaurs and a bottle of chocolate milk. It’s only been a little under a day and she’s decided that she hates it. The children at Luisa’s house were all already friends from school and they all stuck together, without any room in their group for outsiders. She had wanted to go to the castle but daddy forbade it, saying it was full of vampires who would want to eat her up if they saw her. She would’ve taken that over Luisa’s house. She didn’t like Romanian food and there was no television. 

Fleur clutches her bag close, cautious, eyes enormous. She’s stunned for a moment by Angie’s appearance. Her first thought is wondering why none of her dolls ever come to life. But she accepts it the way children accept everything, especially children whose fathers are giants who can do magic.

“My name’s Fleur.�� She shuffles her velcro shoes and tightens her grip on daddy’s jacket sleeve. With the other hand she points at Angie. “How come you’re alive?”

OH  GOODIE  GOODIE,  SHE  TALKS!  /  what  a  relief.  one - sided  conversations  are  no  fun.  it’s  bad  enough  that  claudia’s  gone  all  shy  so  suddenly. . .  C’MON  KID!  don’cha  see  there’s  another  YOU  hanging  around?  that  never  happens!  and  it’ll  probably  never  happen  again  if  all  you’re  gonna  do  is  have  a  staring  contest!

  angie  huffs  quietly,  supposin’  that  shyness  just  runs  in  the  family.  oh  well,  nothin’  like  a  little  icebreaker.  fleur’s  asking  the  real  existential  questions here.

 except  claudia  steps  in,  takes  hold  of  her  free  hand  and  clutching  it.  she’s  grinning  in  that  nervous  kind  of  way  that  her  mama  does  when  she’s  spoken  out  at  the  meetings;  ❝  my  mama’s  powers  made  her  live.  there’s  nobody  else  like  her,  she’s  her  only  living  creation...  well,  besides  me! ❞

   then  the  kid  lets  go  of  her  hand  and  runs  right  up  to  the  other,  excited  but  fidgeting  her  hands  nervously. ❝  but  everybody’s  special,  and  really,  really  nice.  um,  i  could  show  you. . ❞  she  turns  around,  doe  shaped  eyes  searching  for  approval  which  she  receives  from  her  veiled  mother’s  nod.  then  she  swings  back,  more  confident.  ❝  yes!  i  could  show  you  them.  if--  if  you  want!  ❞

    no  fair  for  angie.  she  totally  wanted  to  show  off  her  brain.  it  would’ve  been  COOL!
