Your sunflower devil AU is so interesting! Do you have more info about it? I'm dying to know more about the how and the why and what ends up happening to the boys, and your devil designs are adorable, especially Basil and his anxious fearful expressions at what he's become!

Okay so, at first it was just me playing around with a buncha different designs for Basil and Sunny because they've ultimately been the only characters I'm able to draw LOL but it slowly grew into a sort of story into my head! It's all very vague for now and I'm not even sure if I'm going to make it into something bigger (I'm a terrible writer and english is not my first language) but here's a brief explanation on its base story:

It takes place after the neutral ending, where both Basil and Sunny stab themselves, thus ending up into the scalding depths or hell (so edgy 😈). Basil at first is in extreme denial of his fate and, just like in the game, is ridden with anxiety and guilt for most of the time. Eventually though, he accepts his fate and what gruesome stuff hell has to offer. He has multiple mixed feelings towards Sunny and breaks down at the sight of Sunny ending up in the same place as him but eventually becomes kind of non chalant n rude towards him, like he's had it all??? As of Sunny, he wears this pathetic wet dog face all the time and what he wishes the most is to make up with Basil while they're stuck together and just explain everything to him. Though while also having a lot mixed feelings, their friendship is complex. Basil has never stopped being special to Sunny.

As of the setting I haven't flashed it out well in my head yet, but basically it has all sorts of trauma inducing creatures and jumpscares based on their fears, guilt and shame. It's a place made to psychologically torture Basil and Sunny, leaving no choice for them but to stick together through it all.

I WOUULD like to make it gay because, well, I'm a sucker for Sunflower and they've been my fave pairing for several months now but I won't be able to do it without it being a little toxic LOL they're each other's reasons of why they're in hell together in the first place oopsieees no worries though they end up warming up to each other

I hope this wasn't too confusing to read lol I apologize <3

#BTW i dont think they should end up in hell this is just me exploring their guilt thru religion (sorta) (stereotypical cartoon demon)
