Colourful Black
I am one of those old school kids who believe that black is the answer to any season, any time of the day and any occasion.
However, when it is nice and sunny out there, you might want to bring some fresh contrast to your outfit.
To me, this Balenciaga jacket is the perfect amount of fuscia I will wear this season.

Camo Look
I have to confess I am not the most loyal Michael Kors customer out there...However, I do own a few MK pieces I like very much.
This army green dress is definitely one of my faves. Although, if you play by the rules of this dress, you going to end up going out all glamorous for drinks. Fun, but not quite my style.
So, I do it my way, which means borrowing Rod's camo oversized jacket and putting on some worn-out black boots  (you don't see them here, my bet).
To bring some balance, I added a glamorous Dolce and Gabbana clutch. 50% chic 50% urban kind of outfit.

Editorial "The Warrior of Light"
The Warrior of Light collection was inspired by Paulo Coelho's book Manual of the Warrior of Light.
This book is a philosophical teaching. It includes extracts from Tao Te Ching, the Bible, the Talmud and the book of Chuang Tzu. I remember reading it when I was a teenager, about 14 years-old, and ever since I have never forgotten how deep and meaningful this book was. So when I was challenged to create a collection inspired by an art piece, I knew exactly what to turn to.
This book is not quite for everyone . Many people I have spoken with said that it was not catchy enough, some even said boring. I would say it takes patience and you definitely got to be deep into philosophy, as the book does not have what we are used to call a typical plot. It is a teaching monolog.
If you ask me, this book can lead you to many answers and show what it takes to be a true warrior.

A Meant To Be Match
Although, this clutch was not meant to stay in my collection (I actually made it for sale), once I put it next to my suede Mango jacket, it was a done deal. Some things just match and you cannot send apart...

Burberry Event at The Makers House
If you follow me on Instagram, you already know that Burberry exhibition at Makers House left a great impression on me.
Firstly, I would like to thank this unique fashion house for bringing out to public something that usually stays overprotected behind the doors of influence, financial and social statuses.
One day since the show, Burberry presents it's autumns/winter 2016 ready-to-wear to each and every one. No tickets, no private invitations. Standing one by one, mannequins recreate the atmosphere of the runway show.
See-through fabrics, heavy embroidery, silhouette-drawing drapery and exceptional tailoring. It is an absolutely "over the top" collection: too rich, too brave, too bourgeois - genius.
Over years fashion experts have been debating wether or not Burberry should be known as an actual luxury brand. I strongly believe that the meaning of luxury has now been very well explained.
A hundred and sixty years of handcraft, research, culture and masters, whose skills, patience and talent leaves you speechless. This week Burberry is not presenting a fashion exhibition, it is celebrating textile designers, glass artists, ceramicists, makers in wood, potters, illustrators, hand-weavers and other true artists of handcraft. People who inspire Burberry, people who put meaning in the word "luxury" and have been doing this over centuries.

“Midnight” Editorial or Staying Stubborn
Remembering my days at Marangoni, I do not know how many times my teacher argued that couture is a very ungrateful path to choose. It brings no sales and therefore I should have not focused on it.
Well, I am glad I did not always listen. The outfits from the Midnight collection turned out to be the most beloved pieces I have worked on so far.
Having somebody to learn from is absolutely great. However, sometimes you just got to listen to your guts.
