#im talking about it again yeeee #tbh i cant help but feel like they kinda shot themselves in the foot by having it be a tfp sequel #giving themselves huge shoes to fill #tfp was uber popular so it makes sense but it also kinda means they HAD to bring op back which is a huge critique ppl have #bc whos gonna watch a tf show with no optimus?? not many people lets be honest #and im willing to suspend my disbelief a lot from tfp cause realistically all the decepticons would have to be clones or just born #but theyre not of course. if they were all clones itd look so boring and if they were just born then why would they be war criminals #some ppl r real sticklers abt that sort of thing but imo you do what u must to make a show interesting so idrc #but even then some things dont make sense to a kinda egregious degree(sorry windblade) but thats the consequence of making it a sequel :') #i will just rewrite it myself as a lil project mayhaps

oo i just finished rid 2015 and i will write a few notes in my online diary so i can remember them to blabber to my sister later (. c .) idont rly have any tf moots or nything so ignore this lol

imo there r 2 big gripes w it, the first one is there needs to be more tfp referencing. im pretty sure its supposed to be a successor ??? but its hard to tell bc in they only blatantly reference it like 10 times :p so maybe im wrong lol but still!! i miss all the old characters esp megatron!!! they kept teasing me w his arrival and it just never happend! obv they didnt need to be main characters but one special ep featuring each wouldve been nice :), the other is just the lack of cliffhangers-every episode ends w an autobot victory which kinda kills a lot of the tension building for season finals :'D

on the other side,- the show is fun to watch!!! the animation nd colors and anime girl transformations are real slick! the score is rly good (when starscream shows up!!?) and the character designs are fun! the decepticons especially are rly distinctive- also the voice actors are so talented :DD- i like the characters a lot, uber developed or not, all their shticks are v clear and i like the dynamics they have w one anotheer, also aaaa steeljaw i love him hes a very tricky villain, different enough from megs that he feels new and i rly wanted to see him and thunderhoof throw hands-i esp like how his goal gradually becomes less noble lolol (I want a home for all decepticons >:) to earth is mine get off D:<)

generally i feel like if u dont think too hard ull have a fun time watching it which in my book is enough for a show/movie to be good :D

Cars Fanfic Author Problems:

“Wait a minute can they even do this they’re freaking cars”

You start to write something about ears or hands and then you remember like “…oh wait-”

getting anxious about putting human food in a scene so you just say oil to make it less conflicting

“THEY’VE GESTURED WITH THEIR TIRES LIKE TEN TIMES ALREADY DO SOMETHING ELSE YOU STUPID VEHICLES LIKE I LOVE YOU BUT PLEASE MAKE IT EASIER FOR ME”

unsure about how to make a scene more dynamic cause the characters can really only just sit there talking to each other

“IS. LIGHTNING. MCQUEEN. OOC. I SWEAR HE’S OOC IN THIS SCENE”

Or, alternatively: “IS ANYONE IN-CHARACTER IN THIS SCENE OH GOD I DON’T KNOW THIS SERIES AT ALL DO I I’M HORRIBLE”

“how far can they stretch their axles out like arms omg this must read so awkward”

when you have to write Mater’s dialogue and you start  to say it out loud in the Larry the Cable Guy voice cause good God how do you write that voice properly (i.e. occasional horrid grammar and/or catchphrases)

*incoherent screaming about car anatomy*

“Okay would McQueen really cry here no he’d hold it in- but wait a second wouldn’t it be more powerful if he broke down here- alright listen up here-”

after so long ive finally started watching RiD(both the old and 2015 one). not sure how well it (2015) lines up with the end of tfp (where is everybody*?? :'D) but i would trust grimlock with my life and steeljaw is so cool help

#esp smokescreen. i kinda thought it would be about him considering the whole almost prime situation #ah well. maybe they well show up later :) (ik starscream will eeee so excited)
