Formative Review
After presenting my treatment and first draft edit I was told to
Break bigs chunks on texts down and highlight key words in the text, this makes it easier to read instead on having bulk writing on one slide.
Remove shots of the Christmas tree in film
Slow clips down more make them really slow to compliment the “dream” factor
Add sparkles or glitter to the film to help with the dreamy factor i want to produce
I took on this feedback and made the changes straight away. It was originally just a draft edit and i was planning on adding an overlay to the film. I can also see what they mean with the Christmas tree it then makes my video seasonal.

Céline Buckens is a Belgian-British actress who wore Christophe Josse to Le Bal in Paris. as spoken about previously she just oozes the look for Josse’s dresses.
“i'm very excited, the ball is a bit of a dream for everyone, all little girls dream of being dressed like princesses, and here it is a reality, they are doing my makeup, it's glamorous, great fun and then after that i have a fitting at christophe josse, i saw the fashion show on monday, i absolutely loved all the clothes, they're very beautiful, so i'm extremely happy....”  this is what Buckens said during a video for the dress fitting.

She talks about being dressed like a princess and how glamours the experience is, this is what i think about when I look at Christophe Josse couture and is something i would like to portray in my video.

Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser is actively engaged at Qatar Foundation where she has helped top-down reforms of Qatar’s public schools and health care system. Recently she chairs a new training and research hospital which is set to become a leading institution for women and children’s specialty care. Her Highness Sheikha Amosa bint Nasser is extremely inspirational and even internationally launched a global initiative which focuses on areas affected by poverty, conflict and disaster, to not only develop but generate a global movement this will tend to the needs of children and the empowerment of youth and women.
In the images above is where she is seen wearing Christophe Josse couture, she is a perfect client for everything she works for and believes in as this suits the brand well by feeling feminine yet powerful.

This is a screen recording I took while running through the website, it is used to purely just show and present viewers with the work of the brand. The website is used to showcase, with an are to view his collections through imagery, being able to watch the runway shows from the collections, and press work. There is an area on the website to look through the magazines that have photographed Josse’s work and interviews. No writing explaining what he did in each magazine it just has screenshots.

When going on to the website you are welcomed with a video from the brands most recent collection, this is a good introduction to the brand. The website also have a very simplistic layout, no bold colours it compliments the work. The menu bar is set out to show you different aspects of Christophe Josse’s work very easy to make your way through the site.

Post Production:
For the opening i wanted it to be practically the same as how Christophe Josse catwalks open. The title in the centre of the screen, the left image is a screenshot of my film and the right is from Christophe Josse. I used his an inspiration.
The blue dress is also a screenshot from my film showing my use of close up shots to show intricate detail on the dresses.
The bottom right image is of the overlay technique, this is also used the opening with the title. I used this technique with the flower back drop and falling glitter, I decreased the opacity of them so the video shot could be seen underneath. I believe this gives the film a fantasy like taste to it.

The last image was my original story board before it got developed. The difference between the draft and the storyboards I used was because I decided to use the  flower backdrop in the studio, this breaks up the scenes instead of all set in one location.

This scene from Disneys cinderella is probably one of the most famous and memorable. It’s the magical moment where her dress gets transformed, this inspired me for the fashion film it will create such a dreamlike fantasy. I can produce something like this with the sparkles and glitter in editing. Cinderella is such a famous princess film, I would love to recreate the fairytales of princess films.

I will be filming outside of university time and therefore the photography department will not allow me to borrow the DSLR Colin suggested. So i decided to use a Go Pro, it is easier to handle and much easier to move with when wanting to film on close. Anything that can not be done such as focusing in the foreground and blurring the back (or vice versa) I can learn how to do this is editing if need be. I have access to the Go Pro Hero 7 and a hand grip which will be easy to use, the camera has built in stability so when i am moving while film the video will not be shaky.
I did want to have a backup camera incase anything did not go to plan so i did borrow a camera from the university however when i got home and tested on the quality and filming, the camera only recorded for 6 seconds. Leaving me to research what was wrong with it i discovered the SD was not big enough for the filming quality. This was annoying as if i did not have the Go Pro I would have been stuck for filming. I did not let this get to me and i went and purchased my own SD card that was designed for filming. i wanted to do this so I had a backup and if i wanted to change and swap between filming I had the option to.
