i don’t feel uncomfortable or pressurized honey!! not by you at least.

i will admit, previous (not any recent, but back when i was updating more frequently) asks and interactions with issf deterred me from being excited to write for the smau and to finish off the series. the amount of attention sal and jeno’s characters relationship got was extremely overwhelming and not always positive, although there was still good interactions and love and support, the negativity circulating at that time pushed me away from what i loved to do and life unfortunately has gotten a lot more rocky than it was before when i had more free time. i am working on updating as soon as i find the time/motivation but i do keep you all in my thoughts and hope to get back into the groove soon 🫶 so again bby don’t apologize, i’m sorry if you felt misunderstood and i’m sorry you felt the need to apologize,, but i hope you know i do really appreciate the excitement for issf 🫶🫂

your response to the asks are so rude, the people who asked clearly did not mean to pressure her to post and were merely showing they want an update and that there is genuinely no pressure.

as a writer myself i see no problem with the way those asks were sent and i’m shocked that you would take an innocent ask and make it to be something it’s not, being busy and having a life is completely normal and that should always be prioritised prior to posting.

making eager readers, who are the reason you get notes, feel bad for wanting an update is so weird.

so that was joy who answered the previous ask and i’m sorry to whoever took offense to it. people perceive things differently and the way she took in the asks is how she responded to it. i do appreciate you all being so kind and patient with me with updating issf, i haven’t been as active on my own account for reasons that are personal nor can i give an actual timeframe as to when i’m updating, but all i ask is that you stay patient with me and don’t be afraid to ask me for updates, but to also look out if i’ve recently posted about my update status as well 🫶 i love you guys sm

she’ll update when she wants! hope that answers your question. also: glad to know there’s ‘no pressure’ on her to update and that you hope she’s fine and healthy! but there’s a more polite way of phrasing this. lilac probably hasn’t seen me replying to this, but i know she shares the same sentiment. writers aren’t obligated to update anything if they don’t feel like it—you stating that there’s no pressure on her to update just pressurises her more.
