It's been a lot of fun, and I'm glad I popped in for a bit. I missed everyone in the community, and getting back into it with everyone was nice.

However, I have to admit, I did not miss Lily. I thought it would be fun to jump back in and see what she's written, but everything she's done is frankly worthless. The soul of her writing, whatever there was of it, has died. Maybe it died a long time ago, and I just didn't want to admit it.

But regardless, I wish everyone the very best. Please take care of yourselves, because you're all beautiful.

Do you read fanfic (besides reading and tearing apart the bad fanfic Lily writes)? And if you do, what fandoms do you like to read from, or are there any specific fanfic authors that you would recommend people read?

I haven't read any fanfic recently, but I used to consume a huge amount of it.

I really liked the Dear Evan Hansen community, with my favourite ship being Connor x Evan. There were a lot of amazing authors who really explored what it means to have anxiety and to feel alone.

I also read a lot of Damian Wayne fanfics, my fav being the ones that focus on the bat family dynamics. (The fluffier, the better.)

But that's all I've read recently, so I hope you're not too disappointed in me anon!

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the reason she's going so hard on the incest, is because it's the only "comfort" she's got going for her. She used to be slightly better at hiding it, but now with how brazen she is about it, it feels like she's clutching to it like a security blanket. With how open Courtney's been about what Lily put them through, she has no option but to retreat in her fantasy world where her incest was reciprocated and everything was perfect

That's kind of sad, in its own, pathetic way.

she calls comic!lily “mommy” and calls g “mama”, and i don’t think she has a nickname for comic!mikaila or marah. dunno if this will be changed in more recent comics, but good catch about how this really throws a wrench into lily claiming g is just her godmother and not her mother.

Lily trying really hard to recon a work that already exists, on a website hardly anybody would bother with.

Idk if it's on the wiki or in the comic itself but I remember reading something that said ralts were especially vulnerable to being groomed and abused by people because of their emotional connections to people and like why? Just why write that at all? I guess it had something to do with why they're so rare? Like you couldn't think of any other explanation?

Lily likes to inject random grim dark into her works, even when there doesn't need to be a reason for it.

But the thing is, what Lily tried to do wouldn't really work, as in canon, Ralts are attracted to people who have positive emotions. They gravitate towards good-natured people, and spend the rest of the time avoiding everyone else.

Ralts could have simply been rare because they actively avoid humans due to habitat loss. (Which would fit into the theme of Pokémon, as there are several who exist as a result of humans messing up the world.)

(sorry for sending so many asks about poke-madhouse, it’s just a story that aggravates me as a pokemon nerd on top of all the objectionable content in it)

maggie is established the have a crush on comic!mikaila (and a reblog of that comic from lily herself showing a screencap of her discord server confirmed that it is a sexual attraction, she “jokingly” roleplays maggie lamenting comic!mikaila’s habit of walking around the house naked which is. gross and weird, to say the least). she accidentally admitted that crush to g and comic!lily. one of mismagius’ pokedex entries mention it being able to bewitch people to fall in love, and the rest of its entries talk about how it can alter people’s emotions with its chants.

and they just choose not to tell comic!mikaila about this in favor of watching maggie flounder for some reason? considering mismagius as a species can at least manipulate people’s emotions, this should be something that comic!lily either talks maggie down from, or something she warns comic!mikaila about. then again, maybe this loops back around to lily accidentally writing maggie as more sympathetic than g: because as far as we know, maggie never acted on this crush or made any advances on comic!mikaila (and thank god for that).

That oddly does make Maggie superior to G.

Question: what does Bonnie call the various adults around her? I’ve never actually read Pokemadhouse, but from what I’ve seen, I was under the impression that she called both CLO and G mom/mama/some variation. Is that true? Because if it is, and Lily is now trying to spin things as “G is just Bonnie’s genetic donor/godmother, not her mom,” that might cause some difficulty for her.

I haven't read mad house in years, so I can't really say. I think she calls C!Lily mom, but that's it.

You know what, I think the avatar sisters being platonic life partners belongs in the 'lily is acephobic' pile.

Like first if all it's so funny that lily is using a type of queer platonic relationship when she hates the concept (because of the name) and swears up and down that it's 'just' really good friendship.

Second of all, it's just her claiming g can't be on a pseudo incest pokepholia relationship with clily because she's ace actually, but with a different hat. Words have meanings and the ones she is using do not mean what she claims they do...

Also also siblings, no matter how well they get along or how much they live together, are not platonic life partners. They are siblings. Like I know lily doesn't know shit about anything, but pre nuclear family idealism, it was pretty normal for relatives to live together if they weren't already living as a more generations household. It was plenty normal even for -especially- unmarried siblings to live with their married siblings and help run the family. That's just called being a family. Just because her siblings wouldn't move in with her if you paid them handsomely doesn't mean it's special for siblings to live together. (Ofc it was not normal for these historical siblings to engage in 'i swear it's not incest' because that is just absolutely not normal for any siblings)

Don't tell the ancient nobles that, they might have a stroke. 🤣😭

As for this being acephobic, I don't really see it that way.

Ace people can have romantic relationships, and feel romantically attracted to people. Some obviously don't, but others do, and that's why it's a spectrum.

The actual problem is when Lily uses Ace people as a shield for hiding her weird fetishes, like you mentioned with G.

Lily treats being ace as a carte blanch with getting away with weird romances because "look, this character can't be sexually attracted to their sister/master/insertcreepythinghere, they're ace! They can't feel sexual attraction! So it's okay!"

Ignoring the fact that she's still writing and implying a creepy thing, she's just trying to smoke and mirrors away the actual problem.

This is the biggest self own i've ever seen. In trying to defend one fanfic, she told on herself with the other three. THREE!

Also, I'm pretty sure Sai just pointed out how weird it was that the original story had to have the two lovers live together like adopted siblings first, before they started sleeping together.

Like, just because you pull the "not actually related card" doesn't mean people aren't going to notice a pattern.
