In the promised princess au, the age gap is definitely not a central theme but Eremika is like 15 years apart! The author does not mention their ages many times but from the little that they did, one can calculate that. And also, Eren is the father of a 16 year old 😫😫 PEAK DILF EREN

I think what you're looking for is not just an age difference but where the age gap is the focus? i've marked those in pink. definitely check the tags on these before proceeding!!

boy next door: For sixteen years, Mikasa has watched the boy next door. First: through the eyes of a child, hand in his during family trips, his hand on her first bike when she learned how to ride. Then: through the eyes of a teenager, peeking behind her blinds into his room on hot summer months when he didn't wear a shirt, eyes lingering on his lips when he pulled away his cigarette. Now, she is so much older, but he is older still, and the gap between them feels ever widening. But her desire to close it only feels more desperate.

I love how eren just completely lost it in that last scene omg

omg yay i’m so glad you liked that!! i really wanted to show him like slowly losing it throughout the chapter and then towards the end he really isn’t able to keep it together. 😮‍💨 it’s such a difference from the carefully constructed experience of a first time he wanted to give her (like in the previous chapter). it’s funny because it’s like he’s trying to trade his personality - the impulsive, reckless eren that mikasa knows and loves - for the more responsible, controlled man he thinks mikasa deserves. 😛
