The End of the Daily Doodle

This is it, this was the last doodle. I inspired and motivated so many people to take on this challenge and I'm really really proud to have seen their progress firsthand, regardless if I didn't interact with them much To the ones that followed the doodles from the very beginning, you got to see a lot of my biggest ups and downs throughout these 4 years. From a breakup, to a new relationship. From a hurricane to surviving daily on a drastically changed lifestyle. From some of the most stressful college days and all-nighters, to fun days out with friends at lunchtime. I can read back on these days and I sure miss them so much.. I miss old friends that I don’t see or talk to as much. I also miss feeling a bit more like I have a strong goal to work towards. I’m glad I archived most of my college years so I can fully relive them just by seeing the drawn doodle and remembering that whole day, and if not, the written story will do just fine~ As stated before, the doodles have also been affecting my health to the point of also being outright dangerous. My neck injury some time ago was caused by me falling asleep while doodling late at night! I can't manage time well at all and having to draw the doodles didn't help, but I did have my fun, I just need to rest more now At one point I had planned to keep the doodle going for DECADES, but after the hurricane last year, I realized the doodles took a lot of my time and I started to realize it wasn't that enjoyable, especially after graduating and falling into a boring routine where I spent most of my time alone.. it just wasn't fun and my doodles all looked the same even though I mostly figured out a way to make them all different each day. Still, I felt that the quality of my writing plummeted and got repetitive with shorter and shorter paragraphs being written down. If they got this repetitive by me not attending university anymore, imagine if I got a job! I just.. wasn't having as much fun as before, it felt more like a responsibility to keep them going and to keep my readers happy. I used to feel a lot of pride when someone mentioned how cool it was that I kept drawing these every day and asked how I got inspiration. Nowadays I don't feel that pride, it's just a small drawing I do but spend way too much time writing and remembering, analyzing in a map which places I visited, what I did there and for how long since my memory can do so much now. Browsing my own search history to see how much time I wasted doing something until I realize I didn't do anything aside from that, it's sad.. and brings me back to why I started the doodles in the first place. I was seeing my yearly art summary which was empty and that depressed me, now I'm doing the same but documenting it in detail.. I didn't progress much at all in my motivation to draw, I just draw lineart better and faster.. Which is good but not what I aimed for. Now, to be fair, 2016 was a year where I progressed a lot in animation and putting my name out there, but I’m afraid I gotta work to rebuild what I started that year Back in 2016 when the doodle was still going strong, I saw myself doing daily doodles about my life at work in whatever workplace I would be working at in the future. Since doodling now felt so pushed and forced, I think the doodle would have ended up repetitive or even intrusive in terms of potentially spoiling a work secret or just getting in the way of my work schedule.. it just wasn't gonna work  By 2018, because of how hard it was to return to doodling again because of the hurricane and the fact I had to drop around 100 doodles from being drawn because I was so behind. I was fully planning on ending the doodles whenever I got a job. (I'm writing this in September and hope that I do end the doodle before the end of the year, it'll mean I actually landed a job before 2019! :D) (2019 Edit: I didn’t) Friends have told me it's okay to end the doodle and rest, I wanted to keep it going for many years but I realized it’s unrealistic with my current scheduling issues. Distracting myself into the night and ending up drawing the doodle at 3am instead of earlier to sleep. I remember I used to STRICTLY doodle at 10pm back when I started, but the doodles were a 5-minute mess and were very hard to understand These friends have also told me that out of everyone they know, I was the one to hold onto this challenge the longest. I end the doodle feeling proud to have done this much, it was a fun project, experiment and motivation to keep going as well as observing closer to everything happening around me every single day

Either way, I’m hopeful that taking some stress off of me might improve my health and even more hopefully, leave time and create some motivation to tackle other projects like my commissions, animation skills and hopefully create a nice portfolio to land a job with.. Here’s hoping for the best The daily doodles will remain untouched and archived. Daily Doodle 259 – December 31, 2018 (The Last Doodle)

And here’s the end of the year and the end of a long fun project. 1,356 doodles counted, I think that’s quite a lot and I need a rest

I’ll truly miss drawing these doodles and expressing my day in art continuously. I’m sad to disappoint my readers, but I’m happy a lot have understood. I’ll miss your comments, replies and reactions to my doodles every day.. Thank you~

 Today I woke up early-ish, surprisingly I didn’t have a headache or was super groggy. I got up to write the doodle and then talk with Pixie a bit before he left to probably sleep again. I then got to sketching, then showering to wake up before inking

I don’t remember much between this, but I did finish by the afternoon.. very late somehow. I know I was eating between this time, so maybe that delayed me more

Anyways, I finished it up and then just watched some funny videos and relaxed. I then worked a bit on a request for Pixie until I was told I should be getting ready. Apparently, the party we were gonna go to started sooner than I expected

So I got ready and all, but realized I had no thick sweater.. So, I’d probably freeze up where we were going as it’s fully exposed to the east air

We got there and yes.. it was chilly. We also had a super wide and clear view of the ENTIRE city, which was rad as heck. It’s been forever since I was last at this place, it’s a community center

I took some pictures and then sat down to try and chat with the low signal I had. We greeted the family members arriving and just spent the time sitting down as more people arrived

I snacked on some meatballs and plantains, then had two shots of sangria.. then some jolly rancher jello with vodka.. and then two light beers.. And I have friends telling me that’s nothing, including my parents and bro who drank the same and were fine

I WAS NOT! I WANTED TO FALL AND SLEEP!! I was so woozy yet again, I leaned against and corned and felt so tired. I eventually got some water but it was cold and I was cold outside too. So after some time, I walked to the van and got mom’s sweater

I then just sat down until I was super tired.. I leaned against a railing and was trying to fall asleep even with music blasting

After a while, my bro told me to go to the van to sleep. So, I left there and laid down to nap inside for a couple of hours since midnight was like 3 hours away still

I stayed napping and listening to calm music, replying to some messages from time to time until it was near midnight. I noticed it was drizzling which is expected as it ALWAYS rains during new years

I got out and walked to see the fireworks which were already going off. The rain eventually arrived and it was freezing cold, but we got to see the show even if it wasn’t fully clear. It then got really foggy anyway

We celebrated, though I didn’t do anything as I was tired. Then called Pixie to wish him a happy new year, then after a bit we finally left back home. It was foggy everything still

Back at home, I had planned to just throw myself in bed but Pixie was up and I wasn’t that sleepy anymore.. So I sat down to write the doodle and chat, I’ll draw the doodle tomorrow and post a long message I had prepared for the final day of these doodles.. I then laid in bed to chat with Pixie 3 hours into 2019 until he fell asleep, only line I’ll write about 2019 heh

 This will really be the last doodle.. it’s kinda hard to believe.. Wow.. So many years working on these doodles, and a good chunk of those including a summary or whole story of my day. It’ll take me a while to get used to not having anxiety when going to sleep or waking up feeling I have a responsibility of doing the doodle. I’ll also have to get used to not have to worry about making sure my maps app is open to track all my movements through the day to remember for the doodle story.. I just have to relax.. Be able to sleep whenever I want now and pick myself back up, especially regarding my health. Thank you for sticking with me~

Daily Doodle 258 – December 30, 2018

Tonight, was a very fun night! Got to see the nightlife at Old San Juan which is something I’ve always wanted to do! Then spent a very nice and relaxing time at a bar with our friend and Pix, the food was amazing too!!

.. and got tipsy.. Don’t worry, I got back to normal after eating!

 Today I woke up early but didn’t have to worry cuz I didn’t have to go to Pixie’s so early. I browsed some art and then got to doodling calmly. I later finished it and then left to make myself a burger and relax a bit in the living room

Sometime later, Pixie was pressuring me more to come over earlier, but I left there on my own terms without rush. I didn’t feel like eating out anyway and wanted something from home

I made it to Pixie’s but then left to the usual Burger King to get his food and a bit for his brother who was home. We also took Wilson who was behaving well after not wanting to start that morning

We then just spent most of the afternoon in the room watching Pix play. He eventually got to Spyro 2 but didn’t play much of it.. I got to watch a bit and relive my nostalgia though <3

Sometime later he went quiet though and I was confused as to why, he seemed angry almost. He later told me it was cuz I didn’t cuddle him and stuff

We later left to Walmart in Wilson to get some fireworks.. legal fountain ones. Stopping at a DVD place while heading there to get a movie. We also spotted a heckin MIATA ND in the Walmart parking lot. That’s the newest Miata around and it’s extremely rare here. Pix took some pictures and we enjoyed looking at it up close

Anyways, we got the fireworks and left home, but Pixie noticed he was missing his AC and power steering belt from the Miata. So we left in my car to look for it hoping it was still around and in one piece. We quickly found it near his house, so it probably fell earlier when we went to Burger King. I grabbed it and then we left home again

We didn’t do much at home before leaving to a PetSmart to get some catnip Pixie wanted to play with his cat. He also craved some donuts but I didn’t wanted to spend money right there. His mood changed again as he went quiet, but I wasn’t exactly sure why.. Can’t correctly guess

At home again, he played with the cat whole acted as expected with catnip, just rubbing against it and stuff. We then hung out in the room as Pixie played a bit more Spyro, going to Summer Forest where I got to listen to that deeply nostalgic soundtrack aaaa

After some hours, our friend from yesterday arrived as we planned to see the nightlife in Old San Juan tonight. So we talked a bit and then left to refuel, then heading north to the capital

While at the port, we saw the Carnival Fascination. I’m not a fan of older ships but seeing it up close and personal still made me sorta.. secretly like it.. agh, I’m so conflicted

We got stuck in some heavy as heck traffic jam for a while but eventually parked at a multistory parking lot. We then walked out to start exploring around Old San Juan and see the nightlife, something I’ve always dreamt of doing and I was doing it now!

We walked uphill to Pixie’s complaint but the city is built like that anyway, being historic and stuff. Walked by multiple cool-looking restaurants and bars, people having fun. The smell of food around was just glorious too.. My dream now is to eat outside at the tables of one of these restaurants but I’m told they’re EXPENSIVE.. Sadly..

 (I normally stay away from writing about alcohol and stuff, but that was the main thing happening tonight, so this will be a first! Also, disclaimer, I don’t really drink much anyway)

 Stopped at a bar where our friend was once before, but he didn’t remember the drinks being so expensive. So we left walking back the way we came, looking at other bars and restaurants and taking everything in, it felt so nice

We made one final stop at one bar where the walls and everything was covered in customized dollar bills. There our friend got a couple of beers and shared a bit with us. I didn’t drink that much, and Pixie didn’t either but it was refreshing. I was the designated driver anyway, so I had to be careful though it was so little

We then left back to the car, paying the parking fee and noticing I got a bit woozy, but it would have been the warmth of the parking lot but also the beer. Anyways, I was feeling fine again after a few seconds, so we left to another bar our friend talked about that sounded super rad. It was superhero themed!

We safely made it there where we mainly wanted food as we were all hungry. We got some nachos with cheese for all since their portions are huge as well as some sliders for Pixie and I would grab a bit from that. Pix and our friend also got these vodka cranberry drinks which I sipped a bit from and it was very bitter at first, main reason I don’t drink, but I sipped again and it was alright but wasn’t gonna drink more

After a few minutes Pixie noticed I was quiet and I then realized I was REALLY woozy this time, but mostly just felt relaxed. Our friend was surprised I was like this already with how little I sipped, so I guess I’m very sensitive to alcohol. He reassured me that after I ate it would eventually go away, so it’s all good and I could drive, just obviously not now

The food eventually arrived, and he didn’t lie, it was HUGE portions. We got to eating and it tasted wonderful, even their thin cut fries were homemade! I’m amazed at how good this bar food was, I didn’t know what to expect from bar food, but I didn’t expect something this good!

We stayed at the bar for a long time talking about random things and laughing loudly as we were all pretty buzzed. After a while of the food going down, I felt back to normal, so all was good! We talked some more and then left back home, still talking along the way

Back at home, we spent another hour talking in the living room until we all were super tired, it was late as heck too. We said goodbye to our friend and then I kissed Pixie goodbye before quickly leaving home, driving cautiously as crime has been rampant lately..

Got home, threw myself in bed, said my good night to Pixie and wrote a few doodle notes, then slept~

Daily Doodle 257 – December 29, 2018

It was a pretty long and tiring day at the end even, I think I need daily coffee

We still had our fun through the day, Pixie got a really cute onesie, watched him play some hard Spyro levels and then got to hang out at a bar as a first for me

 Today I woke up to doodle real quick, then get ready to leave to Pixie’s. Once there, I watched as he played Spyro all morning, he then left to do something with his grandma while I stayed in the room playing a bit of Spyro too, but Pixie left me replaying levels he already finished. He’s been playing the first game of the trilogy, but I never got to play the first game so the nostalgia isn’t there that much yet

We left to a KFC to get Pixie food, then get me some Subway. We then parked somewhere random after searching around the area for some minutes for somewhere to park and eat. We then stayed at the house for an hour playing more

We then left to the city's Walmart to get some clothes for Pixie's grandma. Pixie was searching for a onesie for himself but there wasn’t any anymore, so he was bummed cuz of this

We left home for a while, then left to another Walmart far east of the island, but the route there wasn’t so urban and had no tolls, so it was a quicker drive in terms of time

Found the onesie which was really cheap cuz it was the last one they had, then Pixie drove back to our city cuz I got me some mini donuts with ice cream and wanted to eat them

We stopped to browse a Kmart looking for Flex Seal as Pixie wanted to fix a leak in his house but didn’t find any. So we left to the city's Walmart to get it, then head home.. but then had to go back cuz they forgot to give us the spray tip as usual

Pixie sealed the leaks though one was still leaking through, apparently Flex Seal isn’t that good

We then later left to a McDonalds where I got this mushroom Swiss burger, then we left to a Burger King where Pix got his food. We then refueled, so I think my food was already getting cold..

After so we left home to eat. The mushroom burger tasted wonderful and I loved it! It's now one of the very very few things I like in McDonalds.. sad it's not cheaper

I then watched Pixie play more Spyro while I was almost falling asleep

Later at night, a friend of ours arrived as we had plans to visit this bar to watch a Linkin Park tribute band. It would also be my first time at a bar.. like.. without my parents around

We left there and luckily found parking as it was pretty full. Once inside we watched a bit until it got crowded, then we hung out outside to watch them play until Pix got tired and we left, hitting a big pothole on the way out but it was uneventful besides rain after that

Once home, Pixie quickly got to playing more Spyro while I wrote the doodle since it was late at night. We then later kissed goodbye and I left home straight to bed~

Daily Doodle 256 – December 28, 2018

I was in a good mood this whole day! WOO!!

A lot of things contributed, chatting with Pix, chatting with new friends and getting two commissions in one day as well as one of them being for someone I’ve been a fan of for years!! <3

 Today I woke up after a very nice sleep. It was a cold morning as I got on my PC to doodle, my paws were freezing already. I finished doodling later at noon after lots of distractions, I was starving by then too, ugh

After so, I spent a while eating cereal while watching a few funny videos and catching up with the few videos I had. I was later just chatting in that new chat along with Pixie too

I then talked with someone about another new commission, this time it was a big one!

Watched another cruise video, fixed some map issues I noticed yesterday, then had dinner. Freshly made rice and beans~ <3

After so, I tested some new ships in Space Engineers then accepted another commission but this time from a commissioner who’s sona I’ve been a fan of <3

I sketched a request for Pixie and then chatted with him until he later went to bed <3 After so, I proceeded to sketch out the commission I got last and worked with the commissioner for something he’d like most. It was then getting late and we hadn’t figured something out, but I really want him to like this, so we’ll continue working together for next time

I then wrote the doodle, sketched it and headed to bed~ Tomorrow I’d have to rush it before Pixie wakes up

Daily Doodle 255 – December 27, 2018

I’m not gonna say this was my plan all along but Pix is super happy with the game~ <3 I actually wish I could play it at home too though aaaahhh

Also, I realized this day was full of gifting all over, wow

 Today I woke up to a call from Pix. I then got ready and stayed at my PC until mom arrived. I then promptly left to Pixie’s

There, I picked him up and we headed to the usual Burger King, then I CAREFULLY parked in reverse, taking a lot more caution than usual cuz I’m already paranoid from that accident a few days ago. We then ate in the car

After this, we left to an AutoZone nearby to get a couple of gifts for a friend. I then admitted to Pixie I wanted to gift him something for his car but it wasn’t worth it right now, so that altered my whole plan and I didn’t know what to gift Pixie anymore..

We then left home where Pixie wrapped our friend’s gift and then left again to Alex’s house. He wasn’t there when we arrived after the long drive, but he left a gift for Pixie. A whole physical copy of a The Office season!

We quickly then drove to Pixie’s dad’s restaurant for a bit, Pix having a talk with his dad who asked him to check some tool prices nearby for him. So, we left to a nearby Home Depot to check these prices and then browse around. Pix was a bit ecstatic as there was a chance he’d get a whole set and box of tools! The high-quality kind with lifetime warranty!!

Anyways, we then left to a mall nearby where we browsed around a Best Buy they had opened, then browsed some clothes. Pixie got a really rad bird shirt, so this was the second in his collection of this kind. He also got a big Stitch keychain for Alex and after a bit of convincing, I got Pixie Spyro Reignited

We then left to Pixie’s dad’s restaurant to eat. Pix got part of his food as a gift and it was all really yummy! I’m happy to know my parents are interested in coming here to eat

Anyways, after eating all this food and taking some leftovers, we left for Alex’s house again to gift him the Stitch keychain. Pix also noticed the shirt he got was a tad bit too small, so we said our goodbyes and left to the mall again

On the way there, we saw a stray dog we had seen earlier searching for food. So, we stopped, and Pixie gave it some of the leftover food we had, Pix felt really good doing this and he had always wanted to do it

We then left to the mall to quickly get a different size shirt, then refuel before heading home.. The traffic was awful..

Anyways, at home Pixie left Spyro downloading since discs aren’t what they used to be anymore. We then left to the AutoZone again to get an alternator belt for Wilson as it was probably the cause for all the noise

Once back at home, we cuddled and relaxed while the game still downloaded. It eventually reached a point where at least the first game was playable. Pixie got to it and we got to relive the past again <3 he quickly switched back to the old music, so we got to enjoy that while I watched him play a bit

He left the rest for later as we went outside to work on the Miata with putting the alternator belt. It would be much easier than previous times cuz Pixie’s dad gave him a wrench he needed for it. We got to it until our friend arrived. Pix then gifted him his gift which was metallic red valve caps as well as a crying laughing emoji keychain. We’re all heavy meme peeps, so this was hilarious

Anyways, Pix and I installed the belt and after reinstalling everything else again, Pix turning on the car and there was no more noise!! <3 We were happy with this and then left inside to hang out

We all shared memes and had our laughs until late at night when our friend left. Pix and I then left to a Burger King nearby to get Pixie some food, then drop him at home as we then kissed goodbye

I left home, making it safely but seeing something sketchy with police at the gas station near my house.. Hope it’s nothing.. bad..

Once at home, I washed up and sat down to write the doodle. I got half scolded for showering and being up so late at night last night, so I’ll just leave the doodle for the morning.. Got nothing planned tomorrow anyway, only a few more days left.. I’ll miss these doodles

Daily Doodle 254 – December 26, 2018

The day was uneventful for the most part, but later at night I joined this one Discord server

I gotta say, I’m having a blast chatting there, it’s full of fun people!

 Today I got woken by a call from mom, her van wouldn’t turn on at work. I got ready and left on my way down there to pick her up and come back home, stopping to refuel before coming back

After so, I sat down to doodle, but it took me way longer than it should have cuz my bro wanted me to search for a solder tool I had but was misplaced by someone somehow.. Hmm

Anyways, after doodling I watched one video before I had to go down to the city with mom again to drop her off at her van since dad was gonna arrive to fix it and get it home. I then drove home and a minute later they arrived, either they were both speeding, or they fixed it really quickly

It failed again at home though, so mom will have to use my car tomorrow, so I gotta postpone this insurance thing

I didn’t do much for the rest of the afternoon but chat with an old friend lots, spend some time in my other chats and look for random videos to watch. Got some new musics and then had me a pork sandwich using yesterday’s meat

Much later at night, I worked a bit on a commission and later joined this really rad Discord server from a webcomic artist I follow and saw there were some old friends in there. The rest of the night was pretty fun chatting in there. Pixie later went to bed, but I stayed in the chat talking, switching between writing the doodle too. I then drew it before bed, but it was late, phew

Daily Doodle 253 – December 25, 2018

Pix got to hang out with my family today!

We also got to eat some very very nice pork, it was a really nice day <3

 Today I got woken up early cuz I had to go with my bro to get some stuff for the party today. I congratulated my dad on his birthday and then left. We got bread for breakfast and then some ice at a gas station, also refueling

Once back at home, I could smell the pig cookin’! I then just made myself a breakfast sandwich, then sitting down at my PC to catch up with the few videos uploaded recently cuz nobody was making stuff cuz of Christmas

The rest of the morning was just that, me on my desk waiting as Pixie would show up soon. He eventually did, we all greeted, he looked at the pig and later got a taste of it. We both also helped bring the tables and chairs to the garage for the party, then left to the room

There we watched some videos for an hour, then just cuddled my cat that was on the bed

A while later, we helped set things up. Setting down the chairs and the tables. After this dad started cutting the pork up and more family members started arriving. We then ate together and spent some time outside

Pix and I later went inside as it was very cold out and we wanted to hang out in the room for a little bit. Pix played some Quick, Draw! on my PC while I watched

We then left outside for a little while again, but it was to sing happy birthday to my dad. We all ate cake, but Pixie then had to go since his grandma didn’t want him driving too late at night. Kinda dangerous too with my mountain road going down

We kissed goodbye and then he left. I then stayed in the living room for a while chatting on my chats, then talking with my bro’s friend about car stuff

I later dropped off grandma at her house, then just stayed at my PC as the party was coming to a close. I helped store some stuff until all was done

I then stayed at my PC watching a few videos but getting really sleepy. So a while later, I started writing the doodle but decided I’ll draw it tomorrow.. As I write this, I most likely will go to sleep early or fall asleep while chatting with Pixie (I actually fell asleep on him and he got angry heh)

Daily Doodle 252 – December 24, 2018

Oh hey.. My first ever car accident.. At least it was a parking lot accident

I’m super glad I handled it well but man.. I hope this won’t be a long hassle

 Today I got woken up before my alarm by grandma who was outside. I rushed outside but it apparently was something that didn’t involve me.. But I was already awake, so I got to doodling as fast as I could and then getting ready. I left after the time I wanted to leave, darn easy distractions.. Aaagh.. I just wanted to make sure other people didn’t run into the same issue I had the other day where I couldn’t find a song, so I made sure it had an entry in an easy to search way

Anyways, I refueled near home since fuel was as cheap as the usual gas station I go to, then left to Pixie’s. We then quickly left to a nearby Subway where I got a cheese broccoli soup <3 and Pixie got a sub

We then left home to eat but then left a while later to deposit some money I got as an early Christmas gift. The nearest ATM was just outside the mall nearby and it was already crowded because of people buying last minute stuff

After depositing, we left on our way to Pixie’s dad’s house to get Wilson. Pix’s dad had left the keys accessible, so we took the Miata and started driving home. I could tell Pix had a lot of fun driving Wilson again, especially in some tunnels, but he noted that people were kinda aggressive drivers today and almost hit him

Anyways, we left Wilson at home and went to take out some money for Pixie, then head to the usual Burger King to eat

This is when the day took a turn.. I was ready to leave back to Pixie’s house but someone was blocking my car so I couldn’t get out. They eventually moved away, so I slowly reversed out but then felt a hard hit on my car.. Someone actually hit my car, it’s the first time I’ve ever been in a car accident while being the driver and the accident involving my car..

I got out and the other driver had a little argument with me blaming me and Pixie noticed I looked really angry too, but I was contained and calm. I was expecting emotions to take over and someone to get angry at me even though it wasn’t my fault. We then got out of the way and parked again, calling relatives and then the police as usual. Pix and I noticed cameras nearby too which would help with evidence

The police obviously didn’t arrive after an hour or so of waiting, so we left to the police command building to report it there. The police officer did all the paperwork and illustrated what had happened. They then told me something that was a bit of a relief. While I may not have been at fault, we still get compensated 50/50 because of it being a parking lot crash.. But what she did was illegal cuz turns out she reversed to go onto a parking lot and you really can’t do that there just like that. So we’ll see what happens.. We traded info and the driver apologized for this, I let her know that at least it was a parking lot accident and nothing major

We both then left, I headed to Pixie’s place and I then just ate some pernil (Pork). I watched him play some Forza and then had to go to help dad with the pig at home. I kissed Pixie goodbye though we’d see each other tomorrow <3

I carefully drove home, feeling more cautious and careful than before but safely made it

I then left to grandma’s with mom to get a long rotating stick that we use to hold and cook the pig (Sorry pig furs). I was feeling some really bad stomach cramps and had to REALLY use grandma’s bathroom before leaving home again, making sure the stick wouldn’t fall off

Once home, I helped dad with lifting the pig at times and just watching him secure and season it. I also helped by sliding the stick in so it would be a proper spit roast for tomorrow. After all this, we stored the pig and cleaned up

After showering, I greeted my uncle and cousin who arrived today. I was supposed to go with my bro in the afternoon to pick them up but the whole crash thing happened

Anyways, we then watched a new Predator movie together, struggling at times with buffering, then they left. The movie was good and at times funny by the way!

I then finally settled down at my PC and was overwhelmed with the amount of messages I didn’t read today.. One of my friends was even concerned cuz of how quiet I was

I spent the time chatting before writing the doodle. Pix went to bed and I then got to drawing.. It turned into a struggle as my 3 hours of sleep were catching up to me, but I wanted to sleep without worries, so I finished up the doodle and then zzz

Daily Doodle 251 – December 23, 2018

What a day, friggin 262 miles / 422 km traveled and 7 hours driving.. My poor butt xAx We saw a lot of neat stuff though!

We had a great day with friends, some from the west and some from the east at the end of the day!! <3

 Today I woke up early and quickly got ready to go out to Pixie’s. While heading down I realized I forgot the cake candle and felt bad again..

Anyways, while driving through the city’s highway, I noticed the road ahead was covered in thick fog, it was all over this part of the city! I’ve never seen this happen and it was pretty crazy

I safely made it to Pixie’s where he got ready and we left to refuel my car to near max capacity, then stop at a friend’s house who wanted to gift Pixie something. Turns out she gifted him an Austin Powers Pop Figure! <3 This makes two Pop figures for Pixie now! We then ate breakfast at a nearby Burger King before heading out on the very long trip west of the island

I thought my GPS would route me through the north of the island, but it routed me through the south. I think this was better since there’s much less traffic along that route, no tolls after the first few ones and it was half an hour faster! Pixie mentioned he was already tired of going through the south since we took the same road twice in a week, but it was the faster option

We drove through the usual mountains but this time listening to the Forza Horizon 4 soundtrack, a racing game Pixie loves a LOT! This made the drive along the mountains feel a lot more rad too! We then drove through the south cities and towns before reaching more desolate and deserted areas of the road

We eventually arrived at the mall we would meet in, it took us an hour and a half of driving. There we just spent a bunch of time in the car waiting for one of Pixie’s friends who owned a Miata and eventually got tired of waiting and left walking. We then spotted the Miata driving away towards where our car was, so we left walking there again until we found it

We greeted the owner and started talking, Pixie also inspecting the Miata closely. I looked around it as we kept talking, even a security guard joining to talk as he had been a previous owner of a Miata. He also recognized Pixie cuz of the fursuit, he’s apparently known in the Miata group as basically the only one with a fursuit heh. Pix also got to drive this Miata too for a bit <3

After a short while, Zee and another fur friend showed up and we all talked together until we later split up. The Miata owner left while Zee, Pixie, our other fur friend and I left into the mall to hang out

We stopped at an arcade, then browsed a farmer’s market before leaving to this.. REALLY messed up Walmart with a really bad layout. It had cash registers in every corner! Every wall was occupied by something, aaaagh! It was crowded as heck and after a bit of browsing we left to this deserts shop

There, Pixie told me to get a hot chocolate, so I got that. I then asked if they could add whipped cream, which they did and surprised me by even sprinkling cinnamon on top as well as putting a cherry! Pixie tried it but didn’t like the whipped cream at all, I did too and it tasted pretty bad.. I believe it was cake frosting, it wasn’t good

We also watched Zee and our friend play Smash together on Zee’s Switch console, pretty neat little thing. Our friend had to leave a while later though, so we said our goodbyes and then later left to get food. Zee and I ate at this Chinese restaurant he recommended which was DELICIOUS!! Lots of noodles with lots of liquid, not dry <3

Pix wanted Taco Bell, so we took my leftovers and left to my car. We then drove off north to the nearest Taco Bell which was pretty far away.. Anyways, on the way there, we saw a bunch of sporty cars since the west of the island has a lot. We even spotted a Lamborghini!! I also think most of our passengers see Pix and I talk about cars 90% of the time, I’m learning from Pix aaaa!!

Pix got his food and we all sat down to chat until it was getting late. We then drove back to the mall and dropped off Zee, obviously hugging him goodbye and leaving north again

The drive was much much longer than the south one considering all the traffic and traffic lights, it even became the night. We tried making a stop at one of Pixie’s friend’s house, but he wasn’t around, and it was controlled access, so we left. We admired the beautiful view of the moon reflecting on the waves at the beach next to us

At the end of the drive I was getting really tired and was considering switching with Pixie if he wasn’t sleepy, but we rolled down the windows and my sleepiness went away considerably.. I probably needed fresh air

We safely made it home and then left to one of Pixie’s friend’s house who gifted him yet ANOTHER Austin Powers pop! He also gifted me a weighted kunai which I was happy to spin around! I sadly realized it wasn’t that meant to be spun, so I’ll have to find a way to truly reinforce it

We then left to a nearby Burger King where this friend got food for us, we then all ate together. Some time later another friend of Pixie’s joined us and we spent the time chatting there until we were told to go out as they were gonna close the restaurant. We then just spent a good chunk of the night talking outside until we left to Pixie’s house

Once there, Pix and the guys drank some coquito and we then spent the rest of the midnight talking and having a good time. We even danced a few times.. as.. cringy as it can be.. We were noisy, oh dear

It was then late, so we left to drop off our friend, then arrive back at Pixie’s to hug and kiss goodbye for a few hours as I’d be back very soon. I then left home and quickly got to writing the doodle and sketching it, but it was then way too late to ink, so I went to bed to nap for a few hours..

This day was the longest in terms of driving I’ve EVER done.. So much time sitting and so much of the island traveled, phew

Daily Doodle 250 – December 22, 2018

You guys gotta check this website out called “every noise at once”

It has virtually all genres of music inside and you can explore all of them and listen, I got hooked finding new music!! <3

 Today I dreamt about Miata roadtrips with friends, flying freely around my island and later dreamt my lungs were failing and I got my respiration replaced with gills.. that was one cool set of dreams, wow. I was even flying perfectly this time and wasn’t falling like on previous dreams, I wish I could easily lucid dream now. Heck, even the gills thing felt cool cuz I was kinda feeling woozy by breathing air for too long so I drenched my gills with salt water nearby using a cup and felt so much better. I was told not to fully go into the water yet, but I couldn’t help it. I love the ocean now and my dreams know it!

Anyways, I stayed in bed for a while since I had doodled last night and could just stay there. Sometime later I did get up to make myself a breakfast sandwich and then settled down at my PC

I then made an announcement of my departure from Furry Amino starting next year, the reason being that the app is very sketchy with its likes and follows.. New users can just press one button and they’ll like and follow a bunch of people without ever even seeing them, so almost all my followers there aren’t actually followers and it just feels deserted

Spend most of the noon then just chatting, I played a bit of Space Engineers in the afternoon to fly ships out of a planet until my PC disliked me, then got back to chatting

A bit later, a friend shared this site that shows a messy list of basically EVERY music genre out there and even in chronological order! Later in the afternoon I stumbled into an issue with my art program that happened in my laptop earlier this year. See, in ClipStudio Paint, the art software I use, when you get a warning message for anything, say, selecting on a layer that has nothing in it. The program gives you the option to tick a box and never show that message again. Problem is that I never found a way to revert this if I WANTED that warning message to be there

I searched everywhere online but couldn’t find how to restore those warning messages. I however did find someone who recently asked the same question cuz they kept accidentally deleting their brushes without any warning message

I got to work trying to find a solution on my PC since I really didn’t wanted to deal with this issue and after a while found how to fix it by deleting a preference file! I quickly made an account in Reddit to help the person who had asked! Shortly after though, I found out someone did found the solution a year ago, but it was so hidden from sight.. Either way, I replied to that person with that solution too <3

Later at night, Pixie started streaming and I hopped on to watch. I then found out I could use Picture in Picture for the stream to have it over my canvas as I worked on a new commission. Pixie ended up dropping the stream a bit later due to it being empty, which bummed me out but it’s true.. Empty streams made me feel a bit sad when I streamed before, so I understand.. I suggested Pix to stream earlier during the day, but we’ll see

I didn’t do much for the rest of the night, just browse music and chat with Pix until he headed to bed. Then got to writing the doodle, realizing time was flying by again, but finished it before it was too late.. I hope

Daily Doodle 249 – December 21, 2018

The subject at a chat I’m in was secluded places

I love secluded places.. I have LOTS of pics of secluded areas of the island, most of which I’d love to visit.. so I must share these pictures ._.

Today I woke up early, got on my PC after a bit and got a huge scare when I didn’t see the massive doodle I had written before bed. My PC restarted last night but the doodle I had saved wasn’t there even in recovery and autosave.. So I hesitatingly closed my word processor and opened, then it was there.. Phew

I got to doodling but then got distracted by art, a few news videos and finally trying to find a song but couldn’t. I swore I had it, but Pixie knew the name, turns out I never got it! After finally getting the song, I finished up the doodle as I had to hurry and head to grandma’s for some chores

I planned to have breakfast there too, so my bro and I left there but turned around cuz she wasn’t there.. That will have to wait then

Back at home, I had some soup, talked with my bro for a while and then settled down at my PC again. Browsed some more art and caught up with videos

Chatted with Pix and friends, browsed memes and sometime later at night, dad and I left to get some pizza nearby

One there, we ordered and sat down to wait.. I was then freezing and shaking, uuuugh, I regret having come with shorts! I also spent the time chatting with friends about SCP stories and how I love reading them at times

We finally got the pizza almost an hour later, then headed home to eat. I gorged on pizza until I was stuffed

I then felt like drawing a gift to someone, so I did super quick, impressing myself a bit and we were both happy with it.. Though he was a LOT happier, hehe

I spent the rest of the night just chatting and having fun in the local chat. Pixie went to sleep later but I stayed in the chat talking about stuff like secluded areas of the island which made me just go on a spree of sharing pretty pics of the island’s valleys and mountains.. I wish I could just hike and camp on top of one aaaaa ;u;

I'd probably be denied to do so though, I'm unfit and might slow everyone down.. That is if I could even manage to have the chance

Daily Doodle 248 – December 20, 2018

What a nice birthday! Lots of traveling, meeting an old friend and having lots of fun exploring this new city for us

The day even continued after we left with more fun stuff to do back at home. Happy birthday, Pixie <3

 Today I woke up early as I had some special plans <3 I got ready and headed out to mom’s workplace to buy a cake and a single candle, then head out to Arty’s the Kobold’s house (Gonna just drop his name here now since the doodles are ending anyway ;n; ) who I had coordinated getting this cake with, then headed to Pixie’s house

Once there, I congratulated him on his birthday outside and gave him the cake. We didn’t have a chance to try it though as it was super early, and we had to start driving soon. So, Pix got ready and we then left to refuel my car, then have breakfast at the usual Burger King. Pixie was already getting stuffed with a single burger while I ate two croissant and egg sandwiches. Arty just got food from the Church’s next door

After this, I refilled my toll account and we set off south once again to meet up with Zee, our old friend and even longer friend for me. We traveled the usual long mountain roads then going downhill to the southern plains of the island until we got to the city’s mall we planned to meet it

I luckily found parking this time, we then walked inside, soon meeting up with Zee and all getting big hugs <3 We then walked around the mall, getting a bit lost as this mall was basically new to all of us and I barely remember it from last time I was there. Pix spotted a Hot Topic and we browsed a bit in there before leaving to walk around some more

We eventually sat down to chat for a bit at the food court, we also snacked a little bit and rehydrated. After this, we decided on leaving to an abandoned hotel somewhere in this city. I was very hesitant since the road was blocked off, but it seemed it was okay to just go there anyway. I parked outside the fence and was saw some workers leaving, they seemed to have been working on the seemingly abandoned hotel, maybe just removing graffiti and stuff

We walked inside though I felt a bit like we were trespassing even as the workers didn’t tell us anything. Once near the hotel though, we got stopped by someone who seemed sketchy at first, but it was a worker who wanted us to be careful is all. We then walked to the giant pool area to appreciate the view. Pix felt adventurous and explored a few rooms at the hotel’s basement which looked super sketchy, but everything turned out alright. We then decided to leave and nothing else happened, but it’s sad a place with such a pretty view got abandoned

Anyways, I then decided to take the guys somewhere very special to me. They didn’t know where until we got there.. But I was very heartbroken to see what the hurricane last year had done to it. This place was a pier for small boats and yachts, but it was sprawling with shops and people all the time. I remember being able to feed the fish and see them closely.. But the place was mostly blocked from access as the hurricane damaged most of the pier, so we could just see closed shops..

To make up for it, I decided we should walk to the beach nearby. I had been craving some salty ocean air anyway.. There we spent some fun and peaceful time, looking out to the ocean and admiring the view.. Or it was just me admiring more, not sure. Either way, Pix and I hugged there and kissed before we then left back to the car

We took a while to decide where to eat as Pixie didn’t wanted to eat at the usual fast foods we find everywhere. After a few minutes, we decided on a pizzeria nearby we didn’t know anything about

We got there pretty quickly and it looked really off.. It was a New York Style focused pizzeria. Zee ordered a buffet for himself, then Pixie and I got a calzone we would share. We then sat down to wait. Once we got it, we realized how massive it was considering the price! It even was supreme and came with two sodas!

Pix and I gorged on it even though our plastic forks and knives kept melting and twisting, but the actual calzone was absolutely delicious!! I love mushrooms so much!!!! We later both ended up full and packaged the rest to then leave and drop off Zee at the mall again as it was getting late

Once there, we hugged lots and said our goodbyes for now as we would see each other soon again. After this, we left back to our city, spotting yet another wildfire but the rest of the drive was just relaxing with the beautiful views.. This area is just so different from my usual forest and metropolitan views

We dropped off Arty, then drove to meet one of Pixie’s friends at their house. We spent half an hour just chatting then watching Pixie almost cry as he opened a Spyro Pop his friend got him. We both secretly talked about this too!

After this, we left home and promptly took his grandma’s car to the nearby mall to try and get something mom had told me to get but didn’t find it. We then left to Pixie’s dad’s restaurant. We took the usual road there, but it was dark out, so it was kinda creepy, but we made it safely. Then turned out his dad wasn’t there, but he still wished Pixie a happy birthday

We left back to the city and to Pixie’s friend’s house again, picked him up and left to a McDonald’s in the city to eat. After this we left home to watch a Doctor Who episode all together, though I was falling asleep while watching.. After this was done, we dropped off Pixie’s friend at their house again and headed home where we quickly kissed goodbye as we were both tired after so much happening today

I got home and realized I kept the candle from this morning in my pocket.. I felt so bad for forgetting and Pixie wanted to blow a candle. I felt devastated and felt like I soured his day just at the end but he assured me it’s a small thing.. But it’s hard to think otherwise and that thought will stay.. ;n;

I sat down to write the doodle and headed to bed. I was also freezing cold.. I hope to have time tomorrow to doodle aaa

Daily Doodle 247 – December 19, 2018

I don’t even realize how fast time flies by for me

One minute I’m watching a 5-minute video, then 3 hours pass somehow, it doesn’t make sense to me

 Today I got up and quickly finished the doodle. I then spent the rest of the morning munching on cereal and browsing art. I then scheduled some of my own art to upload before I left to do some chores outside, pressure washing the garage

I spent an hour or so outside helping my bro pressure wash everything as well as the front of the house until we were done. All clean!

Showered early and then settled down at my PC again. I didn’t do much afterwards, just settling a new commission. I also spent a bunch of time uploading my art to my other sites where I couldn’t schedule art to

I also kept eating some frosted animal cookies Pixie bought for me, I LOVE THEM!! <3 I then tested some other ships in Space Engineers, still wishing I could play with Pix or someone..

After this I just watched a few videos and chatted. It wasn’t that late but time suddenly seemed to skip for me and THEN it was late at night somehow.. So I got to writing the doodle and then drawing it while also sneezing often.. Probably cuz of this cold

I also finished this doodle.. this 3 panel doodle in record time, WOW.. Why do I have all this motivation late at night when I’m also really tired. Probably have to reward myself with basic needs like sleep by now, geez

Anyways, now I sleep. Tomorrow’s gonna be a fun day with Pixie’s birthday <3 Go wish him happy birthday!

Daily Doodle 246 – December 18, 2018

Must be cold cuz the roof isn’t getting heated anymore

Also, the temperature numbers here might not seem like a lot compared to other places, but I’m still tropical! .. And lack body fat!

 Today I woke up at noon! Heckin noon!! I slept so much and.. to be fair.. woke up feeling refreshed.. But bwah! The doodle!

I quickly got to working on it and was done, then left to have lunch, then settled down on my PC again

I browsed some art as usual, started catching up with my videos from the past 2 days and also worked on finally finishing that commission

The whole day had been very sunny, but I was realizing the house wasn’t warming up at all. I asked dad if he covered the roof with some white coat he got the other day and he said yes. So, this is gonna be one very cold winter both inside and outside! I didn’t even turn my fan on today, geezus!

I got in contact with a friend for another possible commission soon, then ate dinner while catching up with the last of my videos

Later at night, I got in Space Engineers to test new ships and have fun with some very well-designed rovers before going back to finally scheduling some art to upload to my galleries

Pix went to sleep and it’s then that I realized it was late. So I later write the doodle, albeit late again and sketched it for tomorrow.. I have a feeling tomorrow might be a busy day with chores

Daily Doodle 245 – December 17, 2018

While we drove a lot today, I’d like to think cuddles made a good chunk of today

Boy, do I love that fluffball <3

 Today I woke up earlier than my alarm and quickly got to doodling.. maybe too quickly.. I had trouble drawing for a bit. I got briefly distracted but did finish the doodle in time, aaaa

I then quickly got ready and left down to Pixie’s. Once there, we just spent the whole morning and noon in the room cuddling, and watching Pix play Crash again. We were waiting for a call from his dad who would let us know when to bring Wilson to install the new springs for the suspension

After a long time of waiting and no call, we finally left to a nearby Burger King as Pix was hungry and obviously so was I. Pix also needed a drink as his throat was sore, so we got our food and ate inside

We then left home when done where we got Wilson and I took his grandma’s car to bring him back home in case we had to leave Wilson. We drove together evading potholes and stuff before reaching his grandpa’s house as we were looking for a jack Pixie’s dad needed to work on the car. It wasn’t there, so we got drinks and then left to Pixie’s dad’s workshop

He arrived later and we all searched but couldn’t find it. His dad was also putting some paints in his van’s trunk and it was stuffed all the way

We later left all inside the van towards Pixie’s grandpa’s house again. I was cramped back there, and the smell of paint was everywhere, the ride was super bumpy too as that van’s suspension was probably not doing so good

After confirming the jack wasn’t there, we left back to the workshop to get all the car and head to Pixie’s dad’s house. Once there, we left Wilson and then just spent some time there together and talking

Pix and I then left back home, we don’t know when we’ll see Wilson again, but hopefully when we see him again, he has his new springs and won’t be so rough of a ride~

At home I watched Pix play some more crash and get frustrated at how hard the game is. We cuddled lots more and just relaxed. We also ate some spaghetti his grandma made but some minutes later I started feeling horribly bloated.. It hurt!

We left to a supermarket to get some groceries, but I was struggling a bit since I was so bloated, it was crippling, woah! I think I’ve never been this bloated..

Got home again where I laid down and slowly recovered, resting there for a while and later cuddling even more, so much cuddles!

Pix then wanted to visit a friend who would give him some Doctor Who DVDs, so we left there and talked for a while before leaving home with the DVDs. Before home though, we made a stop at a Taco Bell to get Pixie some food. The parking lot was also empty, so I messed around driving in an S shape with my car, just fooling around since it was safe

We got home, settled down in the room and then started watching an episode of Doctor Who which affected Pixie a lot before. I was cuddled up under blankets to stay away from the cold too. Pixie said I looked really cute and I was just flustered the whole time, aaa ;///;

We then did even more of the extreme amount of cuddling we did today (You must be tired of reading that) before we noticed it was late and I was really tired by now. So we left outside to kiss and hug lots before leaving home

Once home, I settled down to write the doodle. I’ll leave the drawn doodle for tomorrow to catch up on sleep, I don’t have anything planned tomorrow so I should be able to sleep more <3

Daily Doodle 244 – December 16, 2018

The day started sucky with a long drive going to waste, but little things started to pick it up

We also drove around for a short while with the top down in Wilson going at highway speeds.. At night.. That was so cold!!

 Today I got up early, got ready and then watched a tiny bit of a movie dad was watching before leaving. I also noticed my fence I use to close in my car was damaged, probably from an odd incident yesterday where neighbors were chasing a pig around.. You know, being Puerto Rico and it being Christmas, there’s lots of pigs around~

Anyways, I got to Pixie’s house after a relaxing drive, Sunday mornings have the best clear roads! We then just hung out in the room, watching him play Crash Mind Over Mutant

Some while later, we got ready to leave to pick up Alex at his house, then drive back south to Pixie’s house to pick up a badge he forgot. We were gonna go to this bazaar far south of the island, it was a very long drive, so we couldn’t forget stuff

We ate at a nearby Taco Bell, I tried this Boss Wrap thing that turned out to be delicious! I refueled after this and then stopped at a highway toll to add money to my toll account. We were then on our way south

It was a loooong drive through pretty mountains and huge fields. This part of the island is also super windy so my car was being pushed around a lot, but we made it to the place

Pix and Alex got their fursuits on and went in.. but we quickly realized how horribly crowded it was. Pix didn’t wanted to fursuit there after a few minutes and some time later, Alex agreed as well.. The place just wasn’t that fun

We barely spent an hour there as Alex then bought a bunch of stuff before we left. We were already at this city, so we tried to make up for it by visiting a big mall that’s pretty popular there but there was no parking anywhere! .. So we decided to leave to the usual mall all the way north of the island. On the way back, we saw a wildfire since the south is very dry and hot, but these seem to be common. We also spotted both a Tesla Model X as well as a very old Ford Model A on the way back! Pixie used to have a Model A during his childhood, darn

We arrived all the way north to the other mall and later saw it was ALSO horribly full without parking.. So we gave up and just dropped Alex at home, sadly not doing much together, bummer.. I also switched seats with Pixie so he could drive as my butt was flat and my legs were sore from not stretching for so long

Pix and I stopped at a nearby Burger King to get food, eat nearby and then head home. At home we hung out for a few hours. Pixie played Crash of the Titans this time, but we later cuddled and had a tickle fight. We also got word of yet another car meet happening tonight, so maybe this could fix up today’s long waste of time

After this, we got Wilson out for a spin. Pixie was also gonna get some groceries but every supermarket we went to was closed, what’s up with today? Pix’s windshield started fogging up, so we arrived home and reinstalled the AC’s pulley as he had removed it to check if the noise from before was because of that

We then spent some more time at home, not really doing much but mess with Pixie’s dog and cuddle. Then we got ready to leave for the event, Pixie deciding to take Wilson but I was honestly terrified as the mountain road to the place was very bumpy and steep

We left and after lots of curves and LOTS of bumps.. we made it just fine! That little car has some power, but the noises are still of concern

The car meet tonight seemed promising at first, but as time went on it didn’t get exciting again.. So once it was getting late, we decided to leave. I’m grateful they don’t bring speaker cars here and all noise is engine noise, but not much happens in these lately

Pixie really pushed Wilson on the way back and the friends that invited us joined us on the way back home. We took the highway, so it was safer and faster.. but we also rode with the top down, so the chilly night air was hitting us all around. THAT WAS COLD!!

Anyways, once home we all just sat outside to chat, share memes and eat hot pockets. I was stargazing a lot instead until it was late and we all left

I kissed Pixie goodbye though I’d be back again soon later. I then left home, witnessed a beautiful sight of a blinding light strip Jeep being pulled over by a police officer, then arrived home

Once home, I finally took a nice warm shower again <3 Then proceeded to write the doodle as Pixie went to bed. I drew most of it but somehow found myself sketching it very late into the night.. so, I’ll try my best to quickly finish it tomorrow as soon as I wake up, then proceed with the day
