I hate how everyone gets mad at us for romanticizing things. Like I get that it can harm us but if romanticizing something makes you feel as though your feelings are valid and that your not alone, then do it. For example the “sad girl” trope. I romanticize the hell out of it. It’s comforting to know that I can watch a movie or an edit or a show and find characters that I can relate to and/or sympathize with.
