If Oda wasn't a coward he would've made Pudding fat. Her story almost perfectly mirrors growing up in a fat body. Pudding's eye being a metaphor for not fitting the beauty standard would've been much more effective had she also been fat. Not only is she considered undesirable because of the eye, but adding that on top of a fat body is just too much for the majority of people.

The impact of Sanji's words and his attraction towards her would've been 100xs more powerful had she been fat.

How great it would've been for his arc had his endgame romance been a fat girl? What better way to showcase Sanji's kindness and love of women than for him to be attracted to a woman whose body would surely get him crap from other men for being attracted to? For him to not give a damn about it either? What a great way to show his growth and show the readers his love of women is genuine.

I'm not even going to go into how fat women feel pressured to act sweet & appeasing just to be treated with kindness and how that perfectly mirrors Pudding's public persona. Everything about her arc would've been better had she also been fat like her sisters.

However, Oda is fatphobic af especially when it comes to women. So instead of just drawing a fat female character he put a 3rd eye on a conventionally attractive woman and gave her trauma surrounding her looks in a world where people look goofy af. Because Sanji has to find her pretty and pretty girls aren't fat right? Sanji could never find a fat woman attractive right Oda? It would make him look like a loser to all your male readers right Oda??

I can respect namivivi content where Nami is forward and Vivi is flustered, but let's not forget that Vivi canonically has balls of STEEL. Girlie went undercover in an organization that specifically was trying to bring her country down, as the PRINCESS of that country, which not only made her a huge target if she was discovered, but also put a fuckton of responsibility for the future of an entire nation on her sixteen year old shoulders. Mind you, she KNOWS she's not the strongest fighter, she KNOWS that her people (including her childhood best friend) hate the royal family, regardless of the fact that the pretenses were false, and does all of this anyway. Sure she's polite and kind but Vivi is also hardcore as fuck and she deserves to make Nami blush

Spade Pirates’ First Mate Sabo AU

Except Sabo and Ace both don’t realize it’s each other because Sabo still has amnesia and Ace can’t recognize Sabo after 7 years because of the mask

This came from the writing prompt someone gave me of Sabo and Deuce interaction and once I got thinking about them I was like. There’s too many parallels. And couldn’t stop thinking about it

In this AU Sabo doesn’t get saved by Dragon, washes up onshore on Goa before he dies, and survives to set sail again a week or so later, but still has amnesia. Realizing that sailing alone as a ten year old is pretty unfeasible though, he stops sailing after the first few islands and lives as a feral forest child on his own for the next seven years until he feels ready and strong enough to try again.

He chooses his own name and Tage (pronounced taj) based on the assumption that Sabo is his last name and his belongings are too ruined to read his given name :) credit to whery for the name idea it’s absolutely genius

I might do some short comics for this if I ever get around to it but for now it’s just a loose collection of ideas!

reading the manga is fucking awesome actually bc i catch so many more little details than i would have otherwise. looking back and knowing more about her character, robin is genuinely DELIGHTED with luffy. i took this screenshot awhile ago so i don’t remember if this is the first time we see her genuinely laugh or not, but her smile here is a lot different than her other smiles in alabasta. she isn’t laughing to mock him.
