Do you notice that when Inuyasha kisses Kikyo it's obvious that he wants to, he's passionate and enjoying himself. When he kissed Kagome in the finale act it was like he did it because he thought he was suppose to… like he was just going for her because he thought that was all he could have after Kikyo died, her reincarnation, even though he didn't love Kagome.

Many people say that Kikyo sucks just because she "interferes" with InuYasha's and Kagome's so-called "romance". Well, I happen to think that Kikyo is in fact cool, and I'm sick of people bagging on her all the time. I mean, come on, who doesn't like an emo, walking dead priestess? Apparently those people.

Anyway, Kagome sucks waaaaayyyyyy more than Kikyo. She's an annoying brat. It says that she's fifteen, but she looks TO FREAKING OLD to be fifteen. I mean, have you seen the length of her legs? And her skirt is shorter than a mini-skirt, for crying out loud!! Ugh... I just hate Kagome so much. But I love Kikyo. :] She kicks ass. If you don't like her, then why are you reading this? She is abusive and a lot of fans don’t care just because he “deserved” it or thought it was funny. No one deserves to be physically assaulted. He always put his life on the line to protect her. He had to deal with her crazy and jealous antics every time Kikyo appeared even though they were not a couple. He didn’t owe her anything. Yes, he got jealous every time Kouga came around but for the most part his anger was directed at Kouga and not at Kagome. Besides, he didn’t use Kikyo or any other girl to make her jealous while Kagome used to lead both Kouga and Hojo in. Inuyasha had real and tangible feelings towards Kikyo. It was not like he was being petty like Kagome was.

Rumiki takahashi actually said in an interview that, that WAS her intention for the story. For kagome to go home to her time and inuyasha ends up with kikyo in the end. She said the only reason she rewrote the endign to what it is now is because kagome had gained such a dedicated fanbase that she feared the repercussions if she had done it that way. So she wrote the Inukag ending. But it IS CANON in some other universe that this story ended with Inukik
