an was surprised, but also very pleased with the sudden gift! she went all out the month prior—boxes of chocolate, a bouquet of your favorite flowers, as well as a sweet little handwritten letter about how much she appreciates you!

whether you bought her a gift or you made it yourself, she appreciates it nonetheless! it was from her beloved s/o after all, why wouldn't she?

expect a lot of kisses from her as a thank you. and maybe another gift or two... knock some sense into her that you're doing this as an act of gratitude for her earlier gifts.

★ asahina mafuyu :

the warmth your actions gave her... they can't be described with simple words. it was a soft and gentle, like a candlelight in a cozy, rainy evening where you simply read a book.

"mm... thank you, [name.]"

don't mind her dry response, she's really happy inside. in fact, if you look closer at her, you might even see a small, yet genuine smile on mafuyu's face!

mafuyu wants to experience new things, so as a way to show her appreciation for whatever you got her, she plants a quick, but loving kiss on the cheek. small steps, but adorable ones.

★ kamishiro rui :

"hmm? you have something for me in return, dearest?"

really, really flattered. rui isn't used to being on the receiving end of gifts, so the fact it's from you makes his heart flutter.

knowing rui, he also went a little overboard when it came to your valentines gift. it'd be a romantic one, with a robot playing a lovely melody in the background as he took you out on a quiet date.

so, regardless of how big and small your gift for him is, it's appreciated and will always be an important memory for him.

★ aoyagi toya :

toya is rather simple when it comes to gift giving. considering how talented he is at claw games, he took you for an arcade date last month and got you one of those big stuffed toys that take forever to get because of how many tickets you need. he even carried it for you going home as well!

... which leads to you wanting to impress him with this date by getting him one too. however, you just went with one of the claw machine plushies rather than a big one.

and it was... so difficult. the claw just would not work! it was definitely jammed, right!? these have to be rigged!

by the end of the day, toya was the one who had to get it since you basically rage-quitted from it. but that just made you feel even more guilty because it was for him, and he had to get it himself...

"don't worry about it, love. i know you were supposed to get it for me, and i really do appreciate the effort you put in for me."

... that was reassuring. toya even gave you a small kiss on the forehead for it. maybe this date wasn't that much of a disaster after all.

Hehe… silly request time… Can you do Tsukasa, Airi, and Haruka x a reader who is “self-aware” (self-aware in this instance meaning they know they’re in a game)? It’s okay if not (^_^)

a/n - i'm so sorry that this took so long T_T i wanted to get to this earlier because i think 'self aware characters' as a concept is very interesting !!! but my brain wouldnt let me write unfortunately... haruka might be ooc, despite how much i love them im very unfamiliar with mmj as characters & their stories </3 i'm also sorry for not doing tsukasa for this one, i wanted to include him and i originally did have an idea for his section, but i took so long to write this i forgot what it was ... i hope you enjoy anyway!

"Do you see anything you like?" You call over your shoulder, turning your attention away from the sweatshirts in front of you.

Airi stands by several dresses, scrutinising them. The two of you decided to go out shopping together, as you felt like your wardrobe was lacking. Airi was eager to help, confident in her sense of style that she can get you something nice, as well as something for herself.

Her brow creases in thought and she stops in front of one particular dress.

"C'mere for a sec," she calls back to you, and you walk over. Airi steps to the side, gesturing to the dress with a furrowed brow.

"Have I worn this before?" She asks. "I mean, I doubt you'd know, but still. It feels so familiar, but I also feel like I've never seen it before."

You squint at the dress. That's right... you recognise it, don't you?

"You wore that in the trained version of your Re-tie Friendship card, didn't you?" You comment quietly. "I liked that one, it was pretty."

Airi goes quiet for a few moments. You catch a befuddled look on her face out of the corner of your eye. "...Excuse me? What's a 'Re-tie Friendship card'...?"

You spin to face her, eyes wide. "Eh? It was your third focus event. Don't you remember it?"

Her confusion only grows. "What on earth are you saying? No, I don't remember it."

Your eyes lock for a brief period of time, the two of you studying each other for a single hint of what the other was talking about. Then, it hits you.

"Oh!" You gasp. "You didn't know about the whole game thing...? I thought everybody knew, but we weren't supposed to talk about it."

The fact of your entire life being a simple game was one you've always been aware of. You had never tried to bring it up to anyone else, or research it before. It had never occurred to you - it was as obvious a fact as saying "the sky is blue".

Airi shakes her head, placing a hand on her temples. "You're making no sense! What game thing?"

You open your mouth to respond, but you hesitate. Should you really elaborate on what you mean? Maybe it's for the best that you don't tell Airi about your shared existence within a game. It might be a bit much to take in all at once.

Maybe another time.

You smile brightly and shake your head. "Oh, you know what? I just realised, I was thinking of something else. Oopsies! Ignore me."

"...Right." Confusion and slight frustration still lingers on Airi's face, but she sighs and shakes her head. You're probably just referencing something from some game you like, right? Maybe she should look into it later, to understand what you just said to her.

Airi's gaze drifts back to the dress once more. That feeling of déjà vu still hovers in the recesses of her mind when she gazes at it, and it's unsettling. Maybe she should look for something different to wear.

"I had the strangest dream last night," Haruka comments, staring at the sandwich in her hands thoughtfully. The sun shines down on you both as you sit on a warm, grassy hill on a red-and-white checkered blanket.

You beam brightly, head tilted curiously. You swallow the bite of food in your mouth. "Oh? What happened?"

"I was dancing to a song I've never heard before. It was in a completely different style than we usually dance to as well, it was quite mellow and calm. I was dancing with a few other people too... Kohane, Ichika, and two other people I didn't recognise... a girl with grey-ish green hair, and a boy with ginger hair."

Haruka shakes her head. "How strange. And the weirdest part was, when I woke up, I remember thinking 'Ah, another one of those dreams'. I haven't dreamt of anything like that before."

She takes a thoughtful bite of her sandwich.

You can't help laughing a little at her bizarre dream. "I always have those dreams! The people who play this game like to make us dance with the other characters. It's quite fun, I like trying to think of what kind of person makes me dance to a certain song with certain people."

You tap your chin curiously. "Perhaps they like to think of me and the others in a romantic relationship? Perhaps they like to think of a different scenario where we are in a band together? Perhaps they feel romantically towards me? It's so interesting."

You chuckle to yourself once more, taking another bite of food. Goodness, it's so tasty. The work the two of you put together to create this whole picnic really paid off! You were especially looking forward to trying those cupcakes, you put a little extra love into each of them! In particular, you-

"Love, what game? What- What are you talking about?"

Haruka's voice snaps you out of your thoughts. Her gaze is full of confusion and concern for you. Her grip on her sandwich has gotten just a little tighter.

You simply gaze back at her as if it's all perfectly normal. "The game we're in. You didn't know?"

Silence hangs in the air. Haruka's gaze shifts around, landing on you for a moment or two before looking away.

Eventually, she clears her throat and nods, deciding to play along. "Right! Of course, I remember now. How could I have forgotten?"

Your joke had unsettled her a little, but she decides to just shake it off. That's all it was, anyway. You're just joking, aren't you?

I was meant to give you a fic or something for your bday and thought I'd make my writing blog before that, but I had to push it..

Ah, well, have some hc's for ur week-late birthday !! I'm not sure if u like any other characters apart from mino, rui, kasa from ur rb's but some tired physical affection hc's !! I hope they're ok hehe

- Tsukasa is always a little clingy.. wrapping his arm around your waist or your shoulder, holding your hand (it took a while for him to get used to that one without blushing hard..), public or private, anything you're comfortable with, he just can't help it! He needs his co-star to know that he loves them so much!

When he gets tired, he's a lot calmer, which is adorable, but make no mistake, he still wants to be by your side as much as he can! He's a biiigg fan of cuddling, asking you softly if you want to join him in bed, or just hugging you from behind then and there and following you around drowsily.

- Rui's definitely clingy towards who he loves to me, but he'd be a bit embarassed and hesitant at first. He'd melt at your touch if you were the one to initiate anything. He grows more confident as he gets used to affection, and who's Rui without his playful teasing?

When he gets tired, he completely loses his hesitation, silently laying you on his chest or lightly placing himself in yours if you're relaxing together. He can't help but sigh out in content as he kisses the top of your head or the bottom of your chin.

- Minori is so jumpy around you, she just loves you so much! She'd do anything to let you know she loves you, excitedly calling out your name in a sing-song voice whenever you're around. She loves loves loves hugging you, and would never take her hands off of you if you're comfortable, she just can't believe she gets to be with someone so cool!

When she gets tired, I don't think she could ever lose her excitement around you, she'd say being around you just energises her - nonetheless, when she's physically tired out, she does calm down, seeking you out just to grab you in a hug again and hum your name. She likes hearing your voice or watching you go about your day when she's too tired to talk or participate in whatever you're doing.

attempting to write my next thingy, which has a self aware reader in it, and i had an idea. im not going to impliment it but i thought it was a good idea and wanted to share it <3

okok so. pjsk x reader au where reader is self aware, ofc. reader is actually one of the vendors around the world that sells something (like the people who sell the attribute flowers at the schools, the song/alt cover sellers, etc) who isnt supposed to ever interact with the main cast, but by some happenstance, they do, and they become friends. then i imagine weird stuff happens because you were Not Supposed To Do That, and yet you do it anyway. maybe you're aware of that, maybe you aren't. who knows.

in any case :) i think this idea is neat so im sending it out

a/n - i took so long to write this that i myself am now on my period T_T it sucks so much </3 i hope maybe this can be comforting for whenever youre on yours next, nonnie? also, i know you asked for oneshots but i did hcs because i couldnt think of how to make this into that!! so sorry </3

Tsukasa is immediately ready to spoil you as much as he possibly can

Craving something specific? He will find it for you. Cramps? He's got a heating pad that is somehow always the perfect temperature. Generally feeling down? He will kiss you on the forehead and cuddle you if you so desire

Due to, y'know, living with a teenage girl around both your ages, he's already fairly aware of what to do and what not to do with someone on their period

He'll leave you alone when you need it, check on you every so often, all of that!

Nene understands how painful it can be

She'll lend you her own hot water bottle when you're on your period as it usually helps her

(It smells like her too, so it's more comforting than normal...)

She'll visit throughout the week, dropping off little snacks and wishing you well

Sometimes even staying to cuddle you if you manage to convince her (which isn't very hard)

Kanade is kind of inexperienced in this whole thing, other than the whole bleeding aspect

She never actually experiences cramps whenever she's on hers, which you are endlessly envious of

She offers you some of her spare pots of ramen when you're hungry. Sorry if you don't like ramen, she doesn't have anything else...

Kanade also enjoys playing calming and gentle music on her synth for you to soothe you further. Somehow, it always makes you drift to sleep...

Mizuki is also always ready to smother you with cuddles if you're feeling down!

You wanna hang out with them but don't want to go anywhere? No problem! The two of you will stay home, cuddle and watch some shows together

I feel like they're the type of person to always carry menstrual products in their bag/pockets just in case someone they know needs it. Because of this, you never need to worry about being caught without any spares if you're out with them!

super supportive about it! minori absolutely adores listening to you ramble about dinosaurs. after all, she does the same with idols, doesn't she? she has to make it fair!

when your birthday approaches, minori is quick to ask shizuku how to do embroidery, since she wants to add a cute little dinosaur to a handkerchief!

... it wasn't the best, but it's the love and effort that was put in it. she wanted to make it cute and special!

really adores your plushies, she finds them so soft and cuddly! minori would definitely enjoy home dates where the both of you just cuddle with a bunch of dinosaur plushies surrounding you.

due to her clumsy nature, minori just avoids your figurines. they're not soft like plushies, so she's worried that she might break them...

if there's an event where she does, she apologizes profusely. it doesn't matter if it's a simple fix or not, minori is pretty teary-eyed and really ashamed about it. she does a lot of things to make it up to you, of course, even if you tell her it's fine.

★ tenma tsukasa :

i feel like he had a dinosaur phase as a child. it makes sense in my head. it just clicks.

so, with that in mind... tsukasa talks about dinosaurs with you as well! of course, his memory is a bit foggy, and he only remembers famous ones, but he tries for you!

he even thought of a silly dinosaur show idea to surprise you with!

... a certain unitmate of his was a little too creative with his ideas, however. still, you can tell how much tsukasa adores you with these types of things, so you really don't mind!

oh, he buys matching dinosaur hoodies for the both of you, for sure. even if it looks goofy. dare i say the goofier, the better.

will listen to you ramble without hesitation. rui even keeps a little notebook filled with different dinosaur types whenever you talk about them, full of different kinds of info...

so you best believe this man made an accurate (and safe) robot version of your favorite dinosaur! using the information you gave him, as well as online research and even your books!

he doesn't want you to think he's uninterested when you ramble. so, when it's the perfect timing, rui stops you for a moment to ask a question. it's a simple gesture, but it also means so much.
