So obviously I had to draw this.

I started drawing this just after the technical test live stream and crossed my fingers what I wrote matched lore wise. Cool thing I figured out while coloring is that Melinoe's hair is the same color as her mom's. Like same hex code. Which is sweet.

I dunno if Hypnos is actually just sleeping til' this all blows over or if he's trapped in a coma or if he's doing some heavy lifting in the dream realm, but I miss his commentary on my stupid deaths.

Day 8

Well… it all started with the fact that I decided to take a sketchbook and pencils with me to watch a TV show about 4 weddings. I honestly tried to start drawing squares, but drawing them turned out to be more boring than just making circles. Well, I started making circles. Both triangles and squares. Only in the faces. I didn't have a goal to draw something beautiful. The goal was to see geometric shapes in the facial features and quickly draw them. Considering that I've never done this before, it turned out very well. Then I also quickly tried to catch emotions. To some extent, it develops and the fact that you can't put the show on pause spurs you to draw faster. I think it would be interesting to conduct the same experiment when I know more basic knowledge. All the "beautiful" works that I had done before were purely intuitive without much understanding of anatomy or anything else. So, yes. I want to look at my drawings when I learn it too. It might be worth redrawing. A friend texted me later in the evening. I am always glad of her company and invited her to draw together. As a result, she drew on her graphics tablet, telling me about some of her secrets…And I was trying to remember everything. And I really tried! So much so that she missed her mouth with a cup of tea. Well… but what beautiful flowers then have appeared from the blots.

Day 5

I keep drawing circles and they get better and better every time. And I'm also trying to combine them into pears. And sometimes they turn out to be very appetizing. About that watercolor…I wanted to give those pears colors so much that I decided to color them. It seemed to work out well, until I decided to mix 3-4 shades on the palette. The pink pear is all sugar and looks more like a vase or an alchemical flask.

Day 3 and chalk watercolor

Yesterday I was in the studio and asked the teacher what I can do at home. She said to buy a watercolor and practice the transitions from light to dark and vice versa. Well… Watercolors are very expensive nowadays. I went into an art store and took the one that the seller advised me and the one that would not cost like a Boeing. Ahem…It's probably worth starting to save for one that stands like an airplane wing, because it's just a disgrace. It crumbles, stains everything around and looks like chalk for a blackboard.

learning to draw …

Well… I decided to learn how to draw. I don't know anything about drawing. And simple…something is working, but I want to know how it works. I want to know techniques, anatomy and other stuff. I want to develop my own style…therefore, I will start all over again. In terms of training. I started going to the drawing studio 1 time a week, but this is not enough to "straighten my arms" and "arms grow out of my shoulders." Therefore, I will do my own "homework" as much as possible every day. At least some drafts. Let's see what happens. This is day 2 and 3. The experiment started on 03.04.2024
