I want fantasy and period piece shows and movie made for adults that don't have brothel scenes like that. Like, either show it for what it is with no titillation or don't show it at all. So sick of brothel scenes. If you can't get men to watch your shows otherwise, then cater to women or have more fight scenes idk. Just enough is enough. We can't get out of the fucking brothel.

Btw it's literally okay to be reserved or a little standoffish. Like especially for women, there is soooo much pressure to be super bubbly and likeable and friendly and blah blah blah, but people still objectify and underestimate you no matter how well you do this. Because its just misogyny lmfao, and the nature of misogyny is that theres no winning. As long as you're not genuinely rude or mean, I promise its fine to keep to yourself and be blunt and straight-to-the-point. You're not a game show host its fine.

On the topic of Amazon, can we talk about how big manufacturing is infiltrating Etsy? Sometimes, I do just want cheap crap, like party favors. So I looked on Amazon for a bachelorette sash and bridesmaids sashes for my bachelorette party. Thinking better of myself, I gave Etsy a peak. And to my dismay, it was a lot of the same stuff! An 8-piece sash set selling for $16 on Amazon can also be found on Etsy, but it's $18 per sash. They know people will come there expecting things to be more expensive and willing to pay, so now some sellers are just Amazon's sellers in disguise. There are customizable or actually unique sashes on Etsy at a similar price point, so when I see these non-customizable ones that match the Amazon product exactly, it looks like a reseller trying to blend in. Not that I can afford $18/sash for a bachelorette party, but just in general, I wish Etsy could stay a place for artists and the good stuff. This experience was just the icing on the cake after looking to Etsy for the wedding registry and finding lots of things that look like the same mass-produced trash or commercial images/stolen art just printed on other things that don't look quality in the pictures.
I've noticed that too, lots and lots of cheap junk clearly mass produced, disheartening for what was once a niche online store

Either people need to learn how to tell the difference between an “I’m sorry” that takes direct responsibility and an “I’m sorry” that signifies sympathy, or I’m gonna start responding to unfortunate information with a solemn nod and a “Sympies,” because I am tired of receiving a “Why? It wasn’t your fault” every time I try to vocalize compassion.
