Kit is a mood 100% of the time.

Everything he thinks and says is relatable.

EVERYTHING.

I love Kit Herondale. He's fifteen years old. He calls the shadowhunters "stupid hot people". He eats cookies out of spite. He knows how history works. He has existencial crisis for breakfast. His brain short circuits when Ty laughs. His professional aspirations reduced to becoming a con man. He has so many grievances against the aforementioned stupid hot people he starts writing down a list. He truly is the character of all times.

Casually thinking about that time last week I had a fight with my mom, had a panic attack, blacked out, and woke up the next morning with half of two songs written but only for the lyrics and then I knew the melody by looking at it and I'm not a songwriter for ANYTHING.

While I'm impaitently waiting for TLKOF to come out and the REAL Kitty reunion to occur (bc that half-thing we got in SoBH don't count for one minute) I really want to point out the wiki

Because we have all been calling Kit an IDIOT for running off to London, but the wiki does it harsher.

The wiki, whose entire job is to come off impartial with just what happened, is passive-aggressive in the best way possible

From Ty's wiki page: After the battle, Kit left the institute without saying goodbye and went to live with Jem and Tessa. Kit has not contacted him since.

And I know that that IS the facts, but the placement of the periods makes it a lot more.... savage.

People thinking Ash and Kit are brothers even though they aren't

Will and Tessa going out in the 20's and mundanes thinking they are father and daughter

Thinking about the funny age misconceptions that would occur in TSC due to immortality & faerie

Like Tessa and Lucie def had a period where they were mistaken for twins when out in public together

Emma and Julian are out to lunch with Tessa and Jem and someone calls “Carstairs” for an order and both Emma and Jem stand up out of habit but then the staff thinks that they are the one’s who are married (bc they look nothing alike)

Poor Clary would be triggered bc she and Ash don’t look that far apart in age to begin with combined with the fact that Ash is way taller than her someone would mistake Clary for being Ash’s younger sister 😭

Tessa eternally looks like a college kid and Kit will be 18 so some mundane could def mistake Tessa for being Kit’s girlfriend if they saw Kit hugging her 😭

I for one am very interested to see what the Sebastian and Seelie Queen short story is about because think of the LORE we’re going to get? I don’t think Cassie’s including them because anyone asked for it specifically. I think she’s including them because it’s going to be a helpful companion to The Wicked Powers.
