And so I did it. I finally moved into my apartment unit. I’m alone. I’m on my own now.

This life transition has been quite emotional over the past few weeks, from searching for available apartment units in different cities to carefully budgeting my finances.

This also means I’ll be apart from mom. For those who are unaware, we went through a three-month cold war before reconciling and deciding to live separately; our decision to live apart was not because of our disagreements but rather my desire for personal growth and independence.

Creating my dream interior will definitely take time. Purchasing appliances and home accessories in one go will strain my finances, so I constantly remind myself that it’ll take time; my satisfaction of turning my apartment into a personalized haven will be worth every penny and sacrifice.

And as always, I’ll need to work harder to meet just my basic necessities. I'm so uncertain where this journey will take me and how I’ll figure things out, but I’m confident I can and will manage—in spite and despite.

This experience has been truly empowering, reminding me of the strength and resilience I (think) I naturally have. As an Aries moon, I approach each step toward building my own life with a sense of accomplishment, knowing I’m aligning with my TRUE PATH.
