A usted que pelea por coraje, que desenvaina la espada por amor, por el impulso de mantener lo que ama seguro. Usted que sabe que amar le hace más fuerte al incendiar su corazón, y usa el intenso fuego de su alma para avanzar a pesar del terror y la duda.

A usted, señor, le agradezco por el valor que demuestra y la fuerza con la que da el favor a quienes más lo necesitan. Sin alguien que no le tiene miedo a arder por los demás y por sí mismo, estaríamos rodeados de frío y silencio. Que sus gritos de batalla nos guíen y su brillo nos ilumine para seguir peleando, mi señor.

Speak Your Language Day

BRINGING BACK THE DAY OF LANGUAGES!!!

This year's 7th of May 2023 we use our own language again!

A few basic rules (this is very much copied from the original UYLD creators):

If your language is something other than English, on May 7th you can speak that language all day!

Speak whatever language feels good for you! Any and all!!

You’ll blog in your language all day: text posts, replies, tags (except triggers and organizational tags), the whole nine yards. Regardless of what language people choose to speak to you, you answer in your own.

Midnight to midnight according to your own time zone

English native speakers, if you wanna participate you can practice a second language you’re learning

hey i have a request for some tips, on how to be less scared of ghosts specifically. see, i'm familiar with resting souls and whatnot but i'm still very afraid of them and it's something that i gotta work on but i don't know where to start, lol. thank u for ur help

Hey, friendly reminder that it’s incredibly hard to ethically sourced bats.

Unless it’s coming directly from the breeder, the claims that the bat bones, wings, etc. are ethically sourced are most likely a lie. Bats decompose too fast in wild nature to be found intact, and a lot of “ethically sourced” bat parts come from unethical hunting and killing. A lot of bat species are currently endangered, especially in the US and the UK, due to consistent hunting.

Either do not buy bat parts at all or do serious background check on the seller.

Honestly be pretentious as fuck about the stuff you create. Do a press release for your fanfic updates. Do a Q&A about your webcomic. Make fake merch designs for your OCs. Commission "official" book covers. Very few of us will ever get to a stage where something we've created Makes It Big but even if you have an audience of 5 people plus a shoelace fucking indulge yourself and pretend!! Hey you can cry OK? I am taking my pocket knife and I'm cutting my peach in half and handing you the bigger half. The world is full of things that are worth crying over and it can be exhausting trying to listen to everyone saying don't cry. And it can be worse trying not to cry because you don't want bad things to win. Sometimes you gotta just let yourself cry while eating a peach half someone wanted to give you because it was sweet and those things are also in the world too.

i taught one of my argentinian friends the lyrics for Las Mañanitas and we made it a tradition to sing it when a person in our friend group had their birthday. she recently just did it to one of her own friends without reading the lyrics. i'm proud, but also that's very funny
