alright boys, girls, neither, both, and those in between we need to clear something up:

if someone says they are queer, they are queer.

no ifs, ands, buts, etc. they are queer.

and if they discover later that they're cishet, great, amazing, wonderful, i'm glad we gave them community when they were figuring themselves out and needed it.

no gatekeeping of queerness here, alright?

because when shit hits the fan queerphobes wont care whether you're a cis gay man who goes by he/him or a bigender aromantic pansexual who goes by it/its

so stop with the respectability politics.

It is inherently fun and sexy to say statements that swap the traditional genders of pronouns and terms mid-statement, such as: "I'm going to make him my wife" "She's my boyfriend" "Who says a guy can't be a pretty princess?" "That girl's the coolest dude I've ever met" "She's a madman who has to be stopped" "It's not his fault he's a material girl" Gender is a set of watercolors and the prettiest shades come from mixing the paints together.

I just admitted that I think I'm a guy, at least partially. I've spent years downplaying it, repressing it, pretending just associated with some non-binary gender I couldn't name, but I think it's time to admit there's something definitively masculine in me.

I don't want the girl I've been to just disappear. I just want her to take a backseat for a sec while I get to understand this part of me, ya know? I said it out loud for the first time ever to my husband the other day and felt so much relief. It helps of course that he's very supportive and loving 💖

My disphoria is more social than physical which has always made me feel doubt - i like my body and I don't want any new parts. But I don't like how I've always dressed in an objectifying way cuz I felt like it was the only way to feel seen. At the same time, I don't like that I grew up getting in trouble for fighting boys because it wasn't "ladylike". I don't like that my vocal pitch goes up two octives when I talk to service folks (clerks, CS reps, waiters, etc) and I REALLY don't like trying to placate people.

Idk. I just feel like the parts of me I liked best were always boyish but I was always shamed for them and asked to be less of it. But when I dove full on into femininity, I was still shamed for being too wild, or because my body changed and my clothes fit different and now I wasn't being "modest". But I liked being playful, being flirty, being gentle.

I guess I'm saying as of right now...i don't feel like there's any reason being a man should make me less of a woman, nor should being a woman make me less of a man.

was talking to my gf about my fear of dying young for being trans and my mom putting my deadname on my gravestone, and she said "i hope that never happens, but if it does, i will carve your name into your grave myself if i have to." and i think theres something extremely raw about that sentiment and trans community in general. you can kill only our bodies, but you cant kill transsexuality
