Daifuku. Dango. Sakura mochi. Anmitsu. 

[Name] was an absolute menace when it came to sweets and he would stop at nothing to get a taste whether it be on the way to a mission or simply passing through villages. As a matter of fact, there wasn't even a time where Kyoujurou wouldn't spot him nibbling away at something sweet.

"You are such a sweet tooth, [name]!" Kyoujurou bellowed as he laughed heartily.

[Name] flustered at his bosterious voice as he grazed at his taiyaki. Even though there wasn't anyone else at the garden the two of them were situated at, he was still sheepish. It mostly had to do with Kyoujurou's grandiose presence and his even more grandiose crush on him.

"Can I have some?" [Name's] eyes dilated, confounded by his words.

But before he could get a peep out a word, Kyoujurou was already centimeters away. His breath fanned over [name's] cheeks as he took whooping bite out of the head of the fish-shaped pastry. He hummed in delight as he licked his icecream coated lips.As if [name] wasn't already agitated enough by his mere company. Kyoujurou's fiery eyes gazed bemusingly at [name's] lips.

"Hey, [name]" His breath hitched in his throat at the switch in tone of Kyoujurou's voice.

"You gotta little chocolate right here."He pointed at the corner of [name's] lips.

"Oh, I --"

"Don't worry. I got it."

A sly smile on his face as he leaned over once more and his breath as warm as ever on the apples of [name's] cheek. His tongue brushed ever so slightly against [name’s] skin before completely pulling away.

“There, all gone.” Kyoujurou smiled innocently.[Name’s] face now scarlet, and body tingling. The residue of his saliva still glistening in the sun on his skin and [name] couldn’t even manage to choke out the simplest of words.

Kyoujurou’s exuberant laughter making its ways out of his sturdy chest once again as he watched [name’s] mein falter cutely. He couldn’t believe Kyoujurou had done something so bold, so sensual. Then again, Kyoujurou was the playful type.

“So cute.” Kyoujurou cooed. His hand extended to caress [name’s] cheek, but he couldn’t take it much longer. [Name] made a mad dash for the Butterfly Mansion, taiyaki in mouth and all leaving Kyoujurou bewildered. But his expression didn’t stall for long before he smiled to himself thinking about [name’s] flushed expression. So cute, indeed.

"Like a lullaby to me" (Rengoku x Reader)

You had an irksomely long day and each footstep to your house seemed like an eternity. Lazily opening the front door, upon entering you see a familiar face, one you couldn’t wait to see all day. With a cup of tea in his hands he stood up to give you the warmest of hugs. Kyojuro’s face was as bright as ever despite experiencing a tiresome day himself, almost as if he could never run out of enthusiasm. How does he do it, you often wondered to yourself, thinking about every time he lightened up the mood on a rainy day, or made something delightful even brighter. Nuzzling your face into his strong chest, you let out a satisfied sigh.

“How was your day dear?” he spoke quietly, contrasting his natural loud volume before planting a few soft kisses on your head.

Much to his surprise he didn’t hear a response, and as his crimson eyes trailed to you he had noticed you were already dozing off. Letting out a small chuckle as to not disturb you, he carefully lifted you closer to him.

“Ah, so that’s how it was.”

Your eyes fluttered upon the slight movement and before grasping the fact you were being carried, a soft pillow found its way beneath your head. Feeling a shift beside you on the bed you were gently placed on, your eyes sluggishly opened only to see Kyojuro’s warm-hearted expression.

“I was waiting for you so we could nap together, and by the looks of it you could really use one,” he spoke softly with a gentle smile formed on his lips.

“Right as always,” you finally managed to let out a tired chuckle before placing your head again on his chest, breathing in his scent. With one hand gently running through your hair, he put the other around your waist, pulling you closer in his warm embrace. The steady sound of his heartbeat was like a lullaby, lulling you to sleep without much difficulty as you felt yourself drifting off already.

You guys.. Are in a interesting relationship, Obanai is the protective person in the relationship, Mitsuri is the worrier, and you.. I suppose are the calm collected person.  You 3 rarely ever get in fights, but there are times where you do get into fights, but it gets quickly resolved. 

Mitsuri is a sucker for any type of PDA, she loves giving and receiving any type of affection from you guys. She’s a cuddly type person and loves hugging anyone, it’s a plus up from you or Obanai!

Meanwhile.. Obanai isn’t used to any type of affection, so he won’t really like it. Well, At first at least!

No matter what, Obanai will say he hates the affection, makes him weak. But- he does love it cause this baby needs in. 

You guys are very adorable! You and Mitsuri have matching socks, that matches Obanai’s haori!! He secretly loves it (´-ω-).You and Mitsuri are very wholesome to Obanai, when he first took off his mask/bandages, he was a bit nervous and scared, that he might get rejected but Mitsuri and you reassured him that there’s nothing to be scared off and you won’t ever. He ended up showing you his mouth, and you guys were so excited and started squealing cause of hoW DAMN PRETTY HE IS! You guys take turns peppering his face/mouth with little kisses to make him happier and his self esteem :)))

Obanai’s kisses are VERY gentle as if he’s gonna hurt you if he does kiss you too hard. But there only harsh when he’s jealous. His kisses are like butterflies on you’re skin! Mitsuri kisses are very gentle too! Obanai prefers to kiss you on the cheek, or forehead. He gets embarrassed if he kisses you or Mitsuri on the lips. While Mitsuri loves kissing you two on the lips, head, neck, shoulders. Anywhere that skin is visible, she wants to know that she cares deeply about you and loves you ＼(＾▽＾)／

Obanai’s love is for you two are very gentle and quiet. He loves to sleep in with you guys on the rare day off’s he and Mitsuri gets. His hold on you is gentle, almost like you’ll break in his arms at any moment. Everything is just so careful and soft. He just loves how quiet you guys are, the slow breathing Mitsuri does while sleeping. 

Obanai shows his affection through words, he’ll tell you that he loves you, and how much you’re special to him. He rarely touches you, you have to be the one who hugs/cuddle. He always compliment’s you, even if it’s a slightly change. He’ll notice slight changes, like you’re nails, ear rings, different perfume, and much more. 

Mitsuri shows her affection through actions instead of words. She’ll just run up to you or Obanai, and just hug you like you’re gonna disappear if she ever lets go. She always get’s you guys small trinkets/gifts when she’s out and about. She’ll get you nail polish if your into that, perfume,  and hair goody's.

She LOVES taking you both out on a date, going to her favourite restaurant and ordering so much food. Obanai doesn’t really eat, cause of his mask but loves to see Mitsuri, you smile while giggling. You always get you’re favourite plate and Obanai just orders tea. Mitsuri orders her favourites, with other side dishes as per usual. She loves seeing you smile, and trying to make Obanai smile or at least laugh which is easy to do with you guys all together.

Mitsuri usually orders a private room for all of you, so Obanai can take off his mask/bandages, and that he feels comfortable in.  He rarely takes it off besides with you guys, or eating..( ´ー`)

Sleeping with you guys.. Can be a wreck.  You’re usually in the middle of these sandwiches, while Mitsuri is on the left and Obanai is on the right.  Mitsuri LOVES to cuddle you while sleeping, so you get pretty hot real quick! While, Obanai has his back turned to you and Mitsuri. You three take turns switching sides, like Mitsuri will be in the middle, Obanai will be on the left and you will be on right! Obanai rarely hugs/cuddles you guys, unless he’s been on a mission for a long time and hasn’t been home. Kaburamaru is usually wrapped around Obanai or either one of you guys, he will lick you as a sign that he loves you :)  Mitsuri’s breathing is soft, and not so quiet. It’s very gentle, while Obanai’s breathing is so quiet, it’s almost like he’s dead. You and Mitsuri have almost had a few panic attack cause of how quiet he is.  

When it’s just you and Obanai, you guys like sit in silence just to know you guys are there. You usually are doing something like cooking dinner, with Obanai’s help or reading a book while Obanai is resting his eyes. He will talk a bit, here and there. He would most likely say- “ I love you ” or “ How was your day..? ”, Etc.  He’s a good listener as well, even if he doesn’t show it or seem like it. He cares about your emotions, so if you want to rant about something. He’ll listen but, he won’t react much.  Mitsuri is a very chatty person, so if you and Mitsuri are just hanging by yourselves. She loves to talk about anything, whether it would be missions she’s been on the past/future, food, animals, or the other hashira’s. She loves just to talk, she feels awkward if it’s quiet or nobody’s saying anything. She is, a good listener as well. Even though she’s loud, and talkative. She will listen to you! And will make sure to write notes on the smallest details that may or may not be important in the future.

Mitsuri LOVES having your or Obanai’s head on her lap. She also would have your head/Obanai’s on her chest, so she can know your there and not somewhere else. She loves running her hair through your hair, If you have long hair, she’ll most likely braid, put it up, but if you don’t. That’s cool too! She’ll just run her fingers, with her nails scratching on your skelp to calm you! Sounds like the best massage ever

Sometimes when all three of you are together and Obanai gives you a quick peck on the cheek, Mitsuri immediately starts squealing on how cute you too are, and you usually kiss her to make her shush, but she won’t. She’ll continue fangirling while blushing :D

If you are a hashira or going to be, just so you know. You will have Mitsuri or Obanai going to each mission with you, or following you just in case. Their huge fear is losing one of each other, they would much rather go on mission with all 3 of you, just to be safe and not get hurt.  

If, anyone hurts you or makes you upset. Be ready to have a mad/angry Obanai and Mitsuri. Obanai will most likely threaten the person who hurt you, he would say something along on the line- “ I Would like for you to leave them alone, if you don’t. I will have your head on a spike by the end of the day, at your family's house. I will hope to hear their screams of terroir at midnight. ” In a very terrifying tone. It works like 95% of the time, but the 5 percent is someone who thinks their better. Mitsuri will most likely try to comfort you, she doesn’t like to cause trouble but. If she does see it in action while she’s out in about, Mitsuri changes persons so fast. You probably wouldn’t recognize her form the tone of voice she would be using, she would say- “ Are you serious? Don’t you have something better to do, then waste your time on someone so precious that has done absolute nothing to you. Please move on before I hurt you. ” She would have a smile like Shinobu, and have her hands in the clap thing just like Shinbou. That only happens if she’s actually full on mad, which is rare. You as well, would defend them and try to say nice things that a lot of people don’t see. They appreciate it, but they don’t like you getting hurt from harsh words. 

Otherwise, you 3 get along pretty well, and love each other! You guys are just protective of each other!

You shifted uncomfortably, texting out how you wanted Genya to meet outside the old train station. The train station was old and abounded, far out from any source of humanity. It has been content lately overtaken by the forest once again, the thick trees trunks bringing up the railings and vines dangling over the entrance of a small red barn cart.

“Hey!” Genya greeted you as he ran towards you, once he got in front of you. He stopped, looking like he has been running the whole time.

“Hey…” You muttered, shifting your feet slightly against the dirt ground with a short smile on your face.

“What’s wrong carrot?” Genya prompted, a hand laying on you with worried dark purple eyes.
