He made an attempt to grab her ankle when she poked him with her toes but was careful not to disturb the bed too much for there was still the tray of food and he didn't want anything to spill or cause a mess. "I'll grab the facial stuff," he agreed, now moving to the edge of the bed so he could stand. He only wore his boxer briefs while sleeping so it was naturally the only thing he had on now, bare upper body exposing tattoos and scars across his chest the only traces of top surgery that he'd had at a far younger age than this. He had a few other minor scars, remnants from a car crash, scuffles in a jail cell marking his body, now only innocent disturbances on otherwise smooth planes of skin. "Your birthday, your movie choice," he said to her as well.
While Micah was up, he went over to the closet and pulled out a clean shirt to wear, just in case Sofia's dad wanted to Facetime with her and seeing Micah walking around in the background shirtless probably wasn't the best idea, so he also pulled on some athletic shorts just in case and ran his hands through his fluffy brown curls in a vain attempt at calming them down so it looked less like he'd just rolled out of bed as he walked out of the room to the bathroom.
He liked to think he was a relatively tidy person and while occasionally things could get cluttered, especially in the bathrooms where items were used daily and not necessarily put away immediately into their respective places, it was still easy enough to locate a few face masks and eye masks along with some silly and cute looking animal headbands to hold their hair out of their faces, one a frog, one a panda. With the items supported in his hands, he stepped carefully and quietly back into the bedroom, uncertain if Sofia would still be on her call with her dad.
♚ Dark strands of Sofia’s hair grazed the wildflower she’d placed behind her ear when the tray had been laid before her on his bed - their bed? A bed? Sofia wasn’t specifically concerned with gifts, she was used to them because of her own childhood, the way her father had doted on her in an attempt to make her smile as a child and then as she grew older in an attempt to make each day a good one, but a day with Micah held far more value to her than any specific gift she could have been given. The months she had been without him had felt like a new loss with each passing day, he was her gift in a lot of ways, a gift she had given herself for finding parts of herself she had lost.
♚ Chewing as Micah spoke she listened to the ideas he had for the day, sweet taste of his waffles and the fruit with them already a signifier of the day. "Wow, staying in bed giving each other facials, you sure it's not your birthday?" she smiled a teasing sort of expression as she watched him. "I think option C," she continued though, wriggling with her crossed legs beneath the dark sheets and straightening her posture slightly. "Facials and movies in bed until the afternoon and then we dress up, and head to somewhere we can dance," she decided, not really concerned with getting freebies for her birthday, though liking the idea of somewhere new. "We can probably wander until we find some place and if we don't find any place we can always come back and dance here," she insisted, extending one of her legs out beneath the blanket, softly poking him with her toes.
♚ "You want to grab the facial stuff while Dad calls?" she asked, picking up a piece of fruit with one of her long near black nails, light hitting them and showing they were actually purple. Her father called with relative consistency but what was the most habitual about his calls was that he'd always warn Sofia, a left over action he had done so her ex didn't get upset with her for taking too long, or interrupting their time together. Sofia had told him that he didn't need to, but he still did. Perhaps out of habit because though Sofia's father had never actually spoken to Micah, he had received photo evidence from his daughter that she was not making him up and all he saw was his little girl looking herself again. It had been enough to bring him a lot of comfort, at least it seemed so to her. "You want to pick the movie too?"

Before the little girl could respond with her name, Micah had spoken up and the two living people conversed briefly. The little girl, if one was paying attention to her and able to see her would observe as she seemed to flicker like a mirage or disturbed smoke, a quick fading that would be easily missed.
Micah gave the blonde woman a confused expression, his thick brows pulling together to meet in the middle, his eyes glancing to the side where she was speaking but saw nothing. He could not see the ghost of the little girl that hung around him but that did not mean he was unaware she was there. His attention turned back to the blonde woman as she continued to whisper to the air, he stopped writing in his notebook, hand holding the pencil stilled on a point, "Who.." he started to ask, "There's..." no one there, he wanted to say but he knew it wasn't true, he knew someone was there, it was just someone he couldn't see or hear.
The ghost of Emily flickered again, she looked a bit sad and shook her head, whispering back, "I --"
Micah continued, "Emily?"
The ghost girl looked at Micah when her name was called.
"The person you're talking to," Micah spoke, focused eyes on the blonde woman, "Is... her name Emily?"
Violet smiled when the little girl said that Micah was writing, and she nodded. "Yeah, I bet," she agreed as she smiled at the girl. "My name's Violet, what's your name?" she asked sweetly as she focused on the girl. She did look over however when Micah spoke and she looked at him before giving a slight shake of her head.
"Oh, no, sorry to distract you from what's going on," she said as she looked back at the little girl and gave her a sheepish smile. She hadn't meant to take his attention away from what he was doing. "I was just talking to your friend here," she said as she nodded towards the girl. It hadn't occurred to Violet that she was the only one who could see the child, so she turned back to the little girl whose name she didn't know yet. "Do you want to come over here so we're not bothering anyone?" she whispered softly. "I have a couple books we can look at while they do their silly seance." she offered. "Or you can see my dog."

Her suggestion, naturally enticing, could not be refused, not for any practical reason other than the very clear and obvious fact that he did not want to refuse her of anything and when their wants and desires aligned then what other resolution would there be but their own mutual satisfaction. Costumes or no. His lips on hers pressed firm with fervor, tasting the gloss on her lips until it coated his tongue and the flavor shared between them, "Pick something out," he bit against her lips, their secret mission, "I'll meet you in the dressing room. Go, go," one last quick peck before he would let her go and he in the meantime would casually walk through the store to discard what was left of his coffee in the paper cup and to draw attention away. It would be more suspicious if they both walked to the dressing rooms together and disappeared rather than if they were separate.
He would do a short lap of the store once the coffee was disposed of and pick out a few random articles of clothing to give the appearance of curating a costume and once he had an armful of random items would make his way to the dressing rooms in the back so where he would hopefully find Sofia waiting in one of them.
♚ Even when Micah spoke, separating their kiss, he drew her in with the palm of his hand on the curve of her lower back, his calloused fingers on her smooth skin, Sofia's form easily giving into his direction and allowing her hips to press against his own. It was these small actions that made Sofia so consciously aware of Micah's heart and how tethered hers was to it. Any awareness of those around was simply from the fluorescent lights and he smell of cheap plastic, a simple reminder that at a certain point they'd be told to leave regardless of how romanticised things might be in their own heads.
♚ "Multitalented fingers," Sofia complimented in response, her own softly scratching against his chest, nails grazing the tattoo hidden beneath his shirt. His own lyrics, told to her while hiding in her exes bathroom, him drunk and her making reckless choices. Micah was worth a little recklessness though, as much recklessness as Sofia had believed wouldn't hurt him anyway, the only restraint she had ever from a fear in her bones she would do something that would irreparably damage his heart.
♚ No other had existed and so, without fear of this, Sofia could feel arousal between her thighs at the notion of Micah removing her clothes with fingers she'd felt removing less glamorous articles of clothing. Nose moving from one side of his to the other, tip of hers teasing the tip of his own she tasted his breath again. "Then we can leave," Sofia offered as an initial suggestion, since they no longer needed costumes. "Or you could help me out of my panties in the fitting rooms, King," the merfolk requested with a drawing his behind her words, thriving off his touch. The name she called him inked permanently onto her wrist. "Help me into one of the other costumes," she whispered against his lips. It was a suggestion but one she wasn't sure he'd take up, an authenticity to Micah that didn't ever seem to require fabrication but for Sofia it was not unfamiliar and ultimately anything that he would enjoy she would try. "What would you prefer?"

The day would have started with breakfast in bed, Micah's signature vegan waffles delivered on a tray with a pretty little wildflower and a kiss wishing Sofia a very happy birthday. Micah was a little bit different than most folk as he spent most of his life with very few personal possessions so didn't put much value in such things, especially not when everything could disappear the next day. In the end, the only thing that couldn't be taken were your memories and experiences and it was for this reason that Micah often chose to gift things in this way to the people he cared for.
"You get to decide what we do today," Micah offered to Sofia, "I got two ideas but couldn't figure out which one you'd like more so," he lifted his hand with two fingers raised, "Option A: We stay in for a nice cozy relaxing day, maybe we don't even leave the bed, maybe we do, but we definitely give each other facials. Or, Option B: We go out, we get drunk, we explore the town, maybe see how many places we can hit up to get free birthday treats and we find a club or a bar where we dance until dawn."

Micah couldn't see the ghost of his deceased sister, couldn't hear her save for the occasional whisper of his name or giggling laughter carried in the wind, only the essence of what she once was, memories coming back for a moment to the material plane but she was there lingering around him frequently. The little ghost girl, whose name was Emily, had her attention attention to the young woman now addressing her with rapt curiosity for no one really saw her before and this was exciting. She did not speak and only covered her mouth with her hands as if she were too shy to say something back. Micah was so far unaware of the two girls, one ghost and one not, who were focused on each other, but he did become aware that the one who was not a ghost had walked closer to where he was sat and seemed to be speaking to someone though he could see no one.
The little ghost girl spoke from around her fingers, "He is writing... he writes a lot... What is your name?"
Micah pushed aside a strand of his curled hair that had fallen into his face while he wrote in his notebook, using the action as an excuse to lift his head and sneak a glance at the woman who had come near, he whispered to her, "Sorry, were you talking to me?" He hadn't really heard what she'd said but he thought he'd heard her whisper.
Tumblr media
It was interesting to Violet, watching the seance from her spot in the store behind the counter. She had done it because a witch had come to her and asked about doing it in the store- and she had said yes, so here she was, letting a witch who wasn't even a necromancer run a seance in her store. She wasn't even a medium either, so the effort she had to put into this was almost amusing.
Most people were much more attentive, a lot of tourists, a lot of people who were not supernatural in any way paying rapt attention to what was going on while Violet worked at the counter. The one interesting thing was Micah Weber in her store. She wouldn't make a big deal out of seeing him, but what was interesting was the child that was with him. She tilted her head, as she looked at the little girl who glanced over at her and gave her a big smile. Violet smiled back and waved her fingers at the girl who waved back.
The kid looked bored, and Violet made a funny face at the girl before smiling as she laughed. When the girl wandered towards her Violet leaned her elbows on the counter and looked down at the kid. "This is kind of boring right?" she whispered to the girl. "What's your friend over there working on?"

Kissing Sofia, no matter how softly or briefly, almost always felt like dancing. Soft lips would meet as lovers to music and move against the other in tandem, smiling edges the hands being held, breath ghosting until he could no longer be sure whose breath belonged to whom other than it must be both of theirs, growing warmer the longer they remained together.
Tumblr media
"I can't wait to see this dress," he wasn't sure when he managed to get enough breath back in order to even speak out a response to her but somehow he managed it, with her own breath which he borrowed before returning back to her. The hand not holding the cup of coffee pressed against the small of her back to draw her in closer. He gave no care for any other shoppers in the store. They could be jealous for all he cared. "And I can't wait to help you into it at the beginning of the night," he wished he wasn't holding onto this cup of coffee anymore so he could touch her with both hands, "and I can't wait to help you out of it at the end of the night."
♚ His smile grew wider and hers matched his almost instantly, it remained on the corners of her lips as he mused, his playful pretending obvious enough that the enjoyment on her face did not falter. "Yes, Morticia and Gomez, he wouldn't put it any different," she answered as he laughed, her own laugh not escaping but the happiness of it beneath each word.
♚ It would have made her feel some guilt he didn't act on impulse, because she knew it was her own issues that defined their relationship as not officially a couple. They were romantic, they were platonic, they were sexual, but it was like a strange invisible line she assumed came less from the fear it implied anything official as much as neither wanted to push the other's emotions beyond where they were ready. For Sofia, in the moment though, he had set her emotions in the setting at ease by agreeing to a couples costume and so whatever minimal distance remained was closed, her lips not reaching for his cheek full with his smile but the smile itself.
Tumblr media
♚ "And I might have bought a black dress," Sofia admitted against his lips. It had not initially been for Halloween but an impulse purchase made when she saw it and Sofia had convinced herself that just being around Micah she'd eventually need a black gown, music video, some sort of televised award night, or...something else, something...special between them. The mermaid barely noticed the coffee on both of their breaths as her nails dragged down his throat to his chest, soft affection of her lips finally pressed to his, feeling the hairs above his own and forgetting the world around herself. All Sofia could feel was him and all that clouded her mind was the velvet dress at home he would spend Halloween night brushing his hands over.

Micah's attention was soon lured back to her when he felt the push of her fingers through strands of his curled hair. A casual touch, a light touch and yet it was never anything of the sort, every touch made his skin ignite with warmth, eager for more. She wanted to see his features, the way his expression shifted and he would readily grant this to her, face turning toward her, body joining as well because he could not only have one part of himself attending to her, he wanted all of him on her. He smiled in a way that betrayed no other thought or care, "Doesn't matter if it's basic," he wanted to know her suggestion and she gave it soon after. His smile broadened.
Tumblr media
"Gomez and Morticia?" Micah mused thoughtfully, pretending to give it some thought but he was already quite agreed to this idea. "How about we do Morticia and Gomez instead?" He laughed, wanting to kiss her cheek, almost doing it but instead he just leaned into her touch. "I don't even think I need to buy anything," probably able to put together the costume out of items already in his closet.
♚ His ease brought about her own, smiling pulling back into the corners of her lips while her brow lifted as to gift him some playful disagreement that showed she wasn't verbally going to tell him otherwise. She was happy he saw it that way, the way he seemed to see everything set her at ease with such simplicity it was like he was sipping water, she wasn't quite sure how he did it.
Tumblr media
♚ "Might not be the most easily manoeuvred depending on what we end up doing," Sofia mused in response, her eyes on his as he looked over the costume, coffee in his hand. She'd downed her own pretty fast and the cup had been abandoned in the trash before entering the store. He did have the hair for it, her mind going to the same place as his own, Micah with a bolo tie would also be endearing since it obviously wasn't his typical garb.
♚ Long nails, orange for the season with black polish put on like scary pumpkin faces, reached out to push the hair that had been short when they had met. He would still look handsome with it pulled back but she hated the idea of him shaving his facial hair. Both rolls didn't necessarily require it, but would make more sense if he did and while she didn't know how Micah would feel about it, or how long it would take to grow back, she enjoyed the feeling of the soft scruff against her shoulders and neck. The thought lacked subtly as the warmth of her eyes seemed to shift as they could into something more slender and tight, pupils focused while her cheeks drew back. The nails that had brushed back his hair shifted and the prints of her fingers touched at his throat softly, edge of her arm against the soft worn fabric of his likely thrifted attire.
♚ "You know what we both have the look for? Even if it might be a little basic this year," considering the timing of the Netflix show. Eyes lifting from the hair at the front of his jaw and up to him. The woman wanted to see his expression, something he was likely aware of at this point, the way in moments, especially intimate ones - physical or verbal - her eyes would linger on him. "Gomez and Morticia?"

A seance. Part of Micah doesn't even want to be here and part him doesn't want to be anywhere else. Growing up in a time where witches and supernaturals still needed to live in hiding it had been hard for him to find others who shared the same magical inclinations as he did and he always had to be careful. Revealing his magic to anyone unless he was absolutely certain that they were the same was dangerous. Then needing to maintain that secret during his incarceration had been worse. All that to say that groups of witches and warlocks performing magic filled him with a certain level of unease to begin with and the nature of this one in particular, well, that unease turned into a dumpster fire.
Micah was not participating, he wasn't sure if he had the guts to, but he was observing from what he felt was a safe distance. He had his reasons for this observation, the most notable being his younger sister Emily whose ghost haunted him since probably the day she had died. He couldn't be sure if she was suffering. If she was mad at him for what had happened. If she forgave him. He could barely forgive himself. He needed to know. He was just... scared of knowing. So he told himself he would come here when he heard about the seance being hosted at the Cabinet of Curiosities, the night of All Hallows Eve bringing spirits closer to this realm and even he could feel a pinprick of chills over his forearms and at the back of his neck that were the usual indicators that the ghost of his sister was somewhere near.
Tumblr media
Micah sat, his well worn notebook in his lap propped up against a bent knee, pen scratching the surface of the page as he scribbled a couple of notes about the seance. Candles. Invocations. Taking note of how it was done so that maybe when he was ready he could try himself.

Where Sofia's expression had begun to falter, Micah's did not for he liked the idea of them doing a couples costume or a matching costume even if in his mind he knew that they were not, it made his chest buzz with hopeful warmth that perhaps one day they might be able to call themselves that with genuine earnestness and this was just one step closer to that potential. The warlock's own expression was full of amusement, he had a cup in his hands with a warm pumpkin spice oat milk latte, something he wouldn't normally have to drink but it was seasonal and that usually prompted him to try new things even if they weren't entirely 'new' to him. "Halloween isn't something to be good at, it just is," he returned with laughter in his words, not mocking or teasing, he laughed because she was just so adorable and he delighted being around her so that he often smiled or laughed for that reason alone.
Tumblr media
"I would look so good with a chainsaw arm," the only problem there being how would he get one or make one in time for Halloween. Micah sipped his drink as he looked casually through this particular section of the store, his eyes grazing from one costume to the next, ideas formulating. "Hey, what about Pulp Fiction? Mia and Vincent?" His hair was certainly the right length to be put into a little ponytail and it too was a couples costume. "Emma and David is good too."
♚ The shop was a familiar one to Sofia, it had been since their arrival in town. While more specifically complex costuming for work she needed to order online, trivial sorts of costumes for various theme nights at the club she wasn't going to spend an arm and a leg on. She'd already seen a few costumes that she was considering for whatever she ended up doing on Halloween night before work, mostly assuming she and Micah would end up at a local concert.
♚ "I was thinking...," Sofia rolled off as her platform heels lazily dragged across the linoleum floor of the party store, halloween costumes exaggerated for the season. "Bodies Bodies Bodies? Emma and David? Or, maybe we go with a classic like Evil Dead, Ash and Linda, get you a chainsaw arm," Sofia suggested with an easy smile on the curve of her lips, the liner slightly darker than the shade she wore but not nearly as dark as the mahogany hair that draped down her back in a long ponytail.
♚ The smile faded just a little, the realisation she'd suggested couples costumes. It felt like sort of a given, though they were not a couple, but she knew that wasn't really fair to him. Despite showing up at his concert and kissing him Sofia knew she shouldn't just jump into some guy - well, not just some guy - to solve her problems, she wanted to work on herself and Micah understood, he always did, but sometimes she just...forgot. Turning back to face him the mermaid gave a casual glance his way. "I don't know, you're like way better at Halloween than me," she insisted.
Tumblr media
♚ Regardless of what prompted the comment, it was true. Micah was a horror aficionado. She'd have never watched half of the movies she did without him.

Micah turned toward the sound of a woman’s voice calling his name, brown curls poking out from the bottom of his beanie, thicker around his neck as he recognized the approaching woman despite the fact she was essentially a stranger. “Yeah,” he greeted her with a smile, rising up to stand, patting his hands against the back of his jeans in case any wood fragments from the picnic table rubbed off on them but he felt nothing. “Ophelia, right? You look–” he was temporarily at a loss for words, rummaging around in his brain for an appropriate adjective and settled on, “-- absolutely stunning, honestly.” He was a bit surprised at the sight of her, limbs appearing so long and willowy in the photos he’d seen of her and with the addition of her heels, she was a good few inches taller than him.
Tumblr media
“Do you wanna get a drink first?” He offered an opportunity for them both to mellow out and lessen any nerves they might have, “Or scope out the food trucks? I saw one down there that has an actual wood fired pizza oven in it.”
she had hinge, and bumble, and tinder, and whatever was on the market, flicking through all three on her work breaks to see who she’d matched with. ophelia didn’t even really talk to any of the guys, a large majority of them matching with her, collecting them like children collected pokemon. the ones she did chat to wanted one thing in particular, a few confessing they’d seen her at the club and asking for private dances. each time, ophelia rolled her eyes, and deleted the app, only to re-download the next time. there was one, however, ophelia didn’t recognise. he wasn’t horrible to talk to, and she’d smiled once or twice at their banter.
eventually the two agreed a time, a place. the fable. ophelia didn’t expect anything serious, just needing another confidence boost when she felt low. sometimes, she felt it was all these sorts of things were good for. the blonde walked out into the courtyard of tables, trucks lining the sides, the smells heavenly. ophelia wore chunky brown heels, body covered in a dark blue corduroy dress with a complimentary shag jacket. it added inches to her already impressive height however, did little to keep her warm. bluebell had helped her restore her hair back to its white-blonde state, styled in waves that fell upon her shoulders, to her back.
dark eyes searched for micah, knowing only what he looked like from the pictures on the app. spotting a figure she believed to be him, ophelia approached, immediately sticking up a hand to wave at him the closer she got. “micah?”

“Did I pay last time?” Micah could hardly remember at this point, so much having happened between now and then but that didn’t stop the smile from spreading broadly across his features as their arms linked and they entered into the boozy ice cream parlor. Soft jazzy music played overhead because why not, and the whole interior aesthetic felt like a neon and pastel club dream, the menu was written in chalk on the back wall and tables and booths lined the walls, the ice cream was all housed in long freezer displays, a large assortment of flavours all infused with some form of alcohol. They even had a legitimate ‘rum float’ that you could get with a cola and rum flavoured ice cream and mixed with actual rum and coke. “Of course you’ll get something sweet and boozy,” Micah laughed, “It’s all they got here.”
Tumblr media
“Honestly though, same,” he said at the notion of either getting drunk or high on days off as he released Gabe’s hold on his arm only so he could lean over the display case and look into all the different basins of colorful ice creams. “I sneakily planted some weed in the community garden by my place,” he whispered over to Gabe conspiratorially, grinning brilliantly with mischief and pressed his finger against his own lips as a gesture to the other that this was a secret and should not be shared. Of course, Sofia knew about it as well, so it wasn’t a huge secret but the less who knew the better.
The human pushed back his green hair, pushing his hoodie down whilst doing so as he watched Micah talk with a small smile. He still had an undeniable soft spot for the other, anyone with eyes could tell you as much and watching his friend squirm was just so cute in his eyes. Gabriel always felt that they had ended things so suddenly but he embraced the universe and believed that they were separated as it's how it was written. Destiny was a big part of Gabriel's life and how he conducted himself throughout it, it was just way of justifying all the horrible things that happened to both himself and others without having to overthink it.
The relief on his face when Micah suggested they go ahead with the date was obvious by the bright smile on his face. "Hell yeah, come on, it's my treat today since you paid for our last date all those years ago," he linked arms with his co-worker, a hue of pink on his cheeks. The idea of going on a date in general was thrilling for him, dates always brought him so much joy, just the fact that someone would take the time out of their day to spend some time with him warmed his heart. "I wanna get something sweet and boozy. You know me, if I have a day off work I'm either getting drunk in town or high in my garden." He chuckled a little, feeling surprisingly relaxed despite the present situation.

Micah nodded somberly at Hunter's words, "Yeah," he swallowed and heaved in a heavy inhalation of breath that sat uncomfortably in his chest before he blew it out all at once, releasing the knot that was forming at the back of his throat that would make it difficult to continue talking. "Don't recommend it," he replied lightly, an attempt at keeping the conversation light, not wanting to make her uncomfortable and he always tried to linger on the good parts of her memory. "We were really close though," the corners of his mouth pulled into a tight-lipped smile, partially forced, "Our mom kind of sucked and we had different dads we never met, or at least, we don't know," their mother didn't even know which of her casual flings had been the father of either of her kids. "So it was just the two of us most of the time."
Tumblr media
Micah leaned over to look over the new stencil sized slightly up, "Yeah, that looks great. Sure, any kind of playlist you got is good." His band generally performed punk rock songs but he made an effort to listen to everything because he felt it helped with the song writing process.
Hunter went to make the stencil bigger. It wasn’t a complicated fix, but it gave her more time to fill with the conversation, and she wasn’t sure what to say. How do you talk to someone when the tattoo is heavy and clearly emotional. Hunter imagined what it would have been like to lose a sister. “So, you were close to Emily; I have never had a sibling. I can’t imagine how hard it would be to lose one.”
Hunter took the new stencil and presented it with a small smile. “How is this? I think this size is a bit better. Would you like me to put on some music while I tattoo you?”

Micah shook his hand and nodded in greeting first saying, "Nice to officially meet you," and then followed up with, "I'll definitely be paying it forward. I sort of already live by that mantra," he let out a small awkward but amused laugh. Something that only a few people actually knew or remembered -- because at the time it had happened it had been aired on a few TV news programs and featured in a few newspapers, certainly Opulence's town newspaper had him on the front page some years back -- but he'd been in a car accident that had resulted in the death of his little sister and caused him to be inprisoned for four years. Since then, he'd made a point to make sure that his life wasn't going to be wasted. He had to live in a way that would make her death have meaning.
Tumblr media
"You gotta let me buy you a coffee though," Micah offered, gesturing with a sweep of his hand over his shoulder in the direction of the café that was beside the library, "Or a scone or something as thanks."
JD laughed, he had to agree with him “It was quite an eventful night wasn’t it?” He still had a lot of questions and it was because of that night that he still was doing research every week to be prepared. He extended his hand to shake it “I’m Juan Diego, you can call me JD.” He nodded and smiled “It looks great. And you are right they are not many of us, but now, you have to do the same for somebody else, when the time comes, that way it will make more of us.”
