#CostumeThemeDateNights

Before I was pregnant with our third, I was creating #CostumeThemeDateNights as a fun way to enjoy dinner and a movie at home with hubby. I kept a list of my creative nights here. During the pregnancy, it was always in the back of my mind but I never had the chance to do much with those ideas. Now that our baby girl is here I am excited to do more but I needed ideas. My initial goal was to scour the internet for various “holidays” for themes I've not done yet. Ideally I would have at least two ideas to choose from each month. Instead of keeping two lists (ideas vs completed) I decided I would just keep one post. So some months have more than others and as I come up with more over time hopefully this list will expand. Hubby is excited to watch Argentina vs Iceland Saturday morning. This outfit pairs quite well with my pleated miniskirt and thigh-highs [something I recently learned is called “Zettai ryoiki“] which I am hoping gives hubby another reason to be excited. I’m usually not a fan of hubby’s “futball” matches, but I am this time! Can you guess the team he will be rooting for? ;-)

Happy #WonderWomanDay!

I’ve been excited to do another #CostumeThemeDateNight for a while & the opportunity finally presented itself. The kids will be over at a friends tonight so in a few hours I will be all alone here with hubby. My theme? Wonder Woman of course! Now, I kinda did this theme last year for National Super Hero Day but it was a really last minute thing. This time it is a bit more planned out.

The costume is the same top as above & the same red 3″ heels. What is different is that I found some Wonder Woman undies at Walmart a while back and I purchased a blue pleated miniskirt that is a much closer match to the blue in the top. I also found a 10 foot yellow nylon rope at the hardware store that I spooled up for my ‘magic truth telling lasso’.

The food. I wasn’t able to find Wonder Womans favorite foods. However, I found out that Lynda Carter’s is Mexican food. And really, she is Wonder Woman! :-) Main dish is a layered Mexican Chicken Rice Bake recipe and I happened to luck out in getting some of the Dr Pepper cans with the latest Wonder Woman banding on them [hooray cheep overstock stores!]. I figured an Amazonian warrior who grew up on a tropical island would be all about the colorful veggies, so I cut up onions, bell peppers, cucumbers, & tomatoes with a bit of splash of Italian dressing for a side dish for a quick roast to soften them up a bit. Lastly, dessert - blueberries, raspberries, & white chocolate flakes on vanilla ice cream! Yum! The movie of choice will be the first few episodes the Lynda Carter Wonder Woman show I picked up from the library! [I didn’t like the new movie... :-( But for those that did, go for it! ]

Lastly, the planned #CFSPs position of the night will be Mastery & the magic lasso may or may not be a part of it. ;-)

Celebrate these days with Pastease!

I discovered Pastease last Halloween from a local store & I bought a few more from Yandy and Married Dance [great Christian Resource]. For those readers a bit more sensitive to explicit photos stick to Married Dance [sadly a small selection] or Yandy [Most of their selection can be found].

Since my first introduction to Pasties, Hubby and I have completely fallen in love with them. Recently I’ve been on temporary hiatus* but I’m excited to have fun with them again [more truthfully - have fun teasing hubby with them again! :) ] so I paired several with various “holidays” from EventGuide. April 26th is Alien Day: Alien Pastease. Several colors but my favorite are the green with purple eyes that glow in the dark! So much fun.

May 1rst is Batman Day: Batman Pastease

May 3rd is International Sun Day: Happy Sun Pastease, but I think you could get away with these on any “SUN”day.

June 17th is Pineapple Day: Pineapple Pastease

July 17th is Emoji Day: Smiley face and heart eyes Pastease 

August 3rd is Watermelon Day: Watermelon Pastease

September 18th is Cheeseburger Day: Cheeseburger Pastease

December 15th is Cupcake day: Cupcake Pastease These are also adorable. A great birthday surprise for hubby. ;-)

Outside of the cupcake and the pumpkins (Halloween), I haven’t gotten into the food ones yet, but maybe I should. Pastease seems to have a lot of food items!

Obviously, you can use these at any time to tease your hubby. I just thought it would be fun to look forward to a specific celebration “holiday”.

#NationalCowgirlDay = #CostumeThemeDateNight! Since it is National Cowgirl Day (Fourth Saturday in July), I thought it would also make for a fun Costume Theme Date Night. Especially since I probably won’t be doing any more being 2 months pregnant & all.

As a treat, I am sending hubby out to pick up his favorite BBQ for dinner. For dessert I’ve made a peach cobbler and picked up Ice Cream for Dr Pepper floats! The  movie is a modern western that hubbys friend keeps telling us we need to watch: 3:10 to Yuma.

My outfit isn’t the one above, though it is close. A little blue & white checkered lace bra top similar to the picture. My leather vest (though I can’t button it in my current condition). My cowgirl hat. My denim miniskirt. Last, but not least, my cowboy boots.

And of course, the position of the night is the cowgirl position. Yeahaw! :-)

Naughty Nurse CostumeThemeDateNight

Thursday, hubby came home not feeling well & went to bed early. He had a rough night. By the time his Friday alarm went off, he was feeling much better but exhausted. I let him sleep in the morning & took the boys out. After an early lunch I dropped them off at a friends for the afternoon & went back to make lunch for hubby. On the drive back, I remembered I had bought the Naughty Nurse costume in May, but plans at the time didn’t allow me to use it. The outfit was still packaged in my closet. Oh, yeah. We’re going to have fun.

I had to sneak into the bedroom to retrieve the costume, then into the bathroom to change. My red 6″ platform heels are a close color match to the red in the costume. These heels aren’t practical so I don’t wear them often. They are much just my “Do me” heels for hubby as I don’t wear them out of the house. I was kinda excited I had the chance to wear them.

Hubby went from tired & groggy to eyes wide open & alert when I came in to the room playing the bit of a nurse checking up on him. After playing out the naughty part of the costume, I led him into the living room for lunch.

I bet you’ve already guessed the lunch menu. Chicken Noodle Soup & Jello.

For the entertainment, hubby loves the show Scrubs. We have several seasons on DVD. We picked out a few choice episodes. The unintentional benefit is that it required me to get up from the couch, go to the tv, then the bookshelf, then retrace my path. Ample opportunity for me to walk seductively, bend over inappropriately for him, & really wind him up. After my first tease, I’m pretty sure that’s why he had to pick a different episode from a different season. ;-)

Prison Break Out CostumeThemeDateNight

Tonight’s going to be a bit different. We won’t have a babysitter to take the boys tonight. That means I can’t go all in on this one. But it doesn’t mean we won’t have some fun! The plan is that I will be taking the boys to the park on a play date w/ some of their friends. I am hoping to tire them OUT. Then we will come home and have a late dinner where afterwards hubby will put them to bed early. As he does so, I slip into the above costume. A friend of mine highly recommended an old prison break movie called “Escape from New York”. It’s supposed to be a cheesy 80′s action movie that hubby will enjoy. I got it from the library and it looks like a bad 80′s movie. Guess we’ll find out tonight!

If the movie is as bad as I have heard, then the after-show is sure to cheer him up. Since it is #NationalStripteaseDay, I will put on a show for him. ;-) #DanceOfMahanaim
