it’s always sunny in camp verde
s6e01- the gang gets punked: the x-men ask cable for help on a mission, only to surprise x-force into doing community service work with them. attempting to make terry jealous, jimmy spends all day flirting with hepzibah, not realizing she’s cable’s grandfather’s ex, and has an unexpected and undesired sexual awakening as a furry.
s6e02- the gang goes incognito mode: mysterious armed strangers from cable’s past in the future begin appearing in new york, so cable assigns the team terrible disguises that everyone absolutely hates. shatterstar’s cover story is working the cash register at a hipster bakery, and, at the advice of one of his new coworkers, decides to go gluten free.
s6e03- the gang gets stonewalled: cable kills his way across new york city to take out the time travelers before they take him down. roberto desperately wants to see jimmy buffet live but refuses to go alone, so he gets increasingly desperate in his attempts to convince any member of x-force to go. everyone refuses.
s6e04- roberto always wins: roberto discovers the team had made a pact not to see jimmy buffet no matter what, and threatens to leave the team. in an attempt to preserve loyalty, cable forces all of x-force to go to a jimmy buffet concert together.
s6e05- the gang doesn’t get laid: domino downloads tinder, but for the first time in her life, is unlucky. tabitha wants to set shatterstar up on blind dates so rictor and shatterstar frantically work to sabotage all of her plans to hide the fact that they’ve been dating for 6 months. despite the fact that they aren’t hiding it, they honestly both forgot to tell her before now, and think she might actually kill them for not telling her sooner.
s6e06- the gang hunts deadpool for sport: roberto, still betrayed by his so-called friends, invites sam to come hang out with x-force for a weekend, in an attempt to show him such a good time so he’ll leave the x-men to rejoin them. deadpool arrives in x-force hq in an attempt to ask terry out for dinner, the half of the team who aren’t with sam go apeshit and chase him out of the state. roberto and tabitha take sam and the rest of the team out and they destroy two city blocks, try and buy weed from a uniformed SHIELD agent, and accidentally kick daredevil’s ass, thinking he’s deadpool.
s6e07- the gang pays the piper: cable’s future tormenters catch up with him with terrible news: cable has not paid taxes in nearly 60 years, and its time to backpay. domino decides to try ok cupid.
s6e08- the gang requires extensive supervision: with cable under investigation for future tax fraud and domino too busy with her bumble profile to care, terry is forced to keep tabs on the team. she refuses, wanting to focus on self-care after having to see deadpool again, and lets everyone disperse across nyc. caliban gets lost in the times square disney store, prompting roberto and jimmy to have to launch a rescue mission. shatterstar tries to take rictor out on a date but they unexpectedly discover rictor has a shellfish allergy halfway through the meal.
s6e09- the gang pays for cable’s sins: everyone is investigated for tax fraud by time travelling askani authorities. shatterstar offers trial by combat as a method of absolving cable’s debt, completely rejected. tabitha spends the time in askani debtor prison recording ASMR videos, piquing cable’s interest in the medium.
s6e10- the gang learns about call out culture: in the wake of their auditing going incredibly poorly, xavier issues a public statement about how x-force is not affiliated with the x-men, all of whom are current on their taxes, and x-force becomes an internet meme, which roberto exploits to boost his instagram influencer career. tipped off by xavier’s call out, the IRS does some digging into cable, who hasn’t paid taxes in this century either, and threaten to rescind his law degree. the gang, who did not know cable went to law school, turn on him as a narc. domino downloads hinge.

It was fun to play with sporty, rich, vintage-space-age signifiers (Gucci, Courrèges, others): strong and clean in a danger room session, and still chic seated next to Emma Frost over champagne brunch.
