I hope you enjoy this little story gift!! I think you mentioned something before about wanting something “recklessly happy” and hopefully this can somehow fit the bill (even tho there is a bit of homesickness mixed in)! 😄✨💛
Thank you for being my ate and for letting me be part of your life! I hope you know how much we love and appreciate you!! Hugs forever!! 😄✨💛

Prompt: “Holiday meet-cute at a coffee shop”
Happy Christmas, @moneyheist-fam ! I planned to do a drawing for Berlermo Secret Santa this year, and your prompt was perfect for it. I hope the image captures a little of what you wanted! (Background taken from pixabay and touched up to fit the mood~)
I wish I could have had the time to write you something to go along with it, so I definitely still plan to follow up with an actual story for you some day!
I didn’t have time to craft a proper story to accompany the painting, so I definitely owe you one for your prompt! Pick any scenario you want and I’ll make it a goal to follow through ;)
Click through to AO3 for the multi-choice scenarios!

They were called ‘keybearers’. ‘Las portadoras de llaves.’
Blessed by the universe at the age of eighteen, those lucky souls shared one tale in common: on the date of their birth they had woken at dawn, already grasping a key in their hand.
———
Andrés de Fonollosa was a keybearer. He had the same story - was given his own key - favored by fortune and granted a blessing.
Because that’s what it was, wasn’t it? A blessing - a gift. Not responsibility disguised as power. Not a call to some quest or action. It was a treasure without consequence - an opportunity without ties.
But herein lay the issue: he still hadn’t used it. Martín Berrote wanted to know why. Andrés wanted to know something in turn.
