I think part of the sting of the ICE ADO cancellation is like...no matter how absurdly, ridiculously stratosphericly successful you are, if the thing you made is warm and caring and queer and full of effort, none of that first stuff matters to the powers that be and they might still completely fuck you over and let you die horribly and pathetically.

Absolutely no amount of traditional success and money is going to be enough.
