see, there were these two guys in a lunatic asylum… and one night, one night they decide they don’t like living in an asylum anymore. they decide they’re going to escape! so, like, they get up onto the roof, and there, just across the narrow gap, they see the rooftops of the town, stretching away in the moonlight… stretching away to FREEDOM. now, the first guy, he jumps right across with no problem. but his friend, his friend daredn’t make the leap. y’see… y’see he’s afraid of FALLING. so then, the first guy has an idea… he says “hey! i have my flashlight with me! i’ll shine it across the gap between the buildings. you can walk along the beam and join me!” b-but the second guy shakes his head. he suh- says… he says “wh-what do you think i am? CRAZY?”

well, this was a little UNEXPECTED. It would not be the first time he pointed the gun at her, but whether he would decide to actually pull the trigger or not would always stay a mystery until the very last moment. “It will,” she had to admit, slightly nervous. “Dontcha think I loaded it?”
at her reaction all he could do was LAUGH. after years of rolling around Gotham together, she still couldn’t read through his acts. AH! AH! AH! his laughter kept being heard, gun still pointed at his lovely sidekick. but what Harley wouldn’t notice was the hidden gun on his other hand, right beside his hip. the one the man FEARFULLY looked at. the one that SHOT at the same time as the other, making the man tumble and fall like a heavy sack of potatoes. . ‘ i guess you’re right, after all. you really did load the gun. ’ the one pointing at Harley was one of his famous fake guns. BANG!
