At the end of the second to last episode there should be some huge fire or something and Chris getting caught in there. Eddie runs to the scene of the fire, but can't do anything.

Last episode: The whole team is trying to contain the fire and they almost got all kids out except one class (Chris's obviously) and they look like they might manage, but then something explodes. It's too dangerous to go inside.

Eddie is losing his shit. Buck goes in against orders. It seems like he won't come out. He does, with Chris.

Eddie hugs his son and then he lifts his eyes to Buck, who is getting checked out by Hen. He wordlessly walks toward him and kisses him.

BAM! ENDING! See you next season hoes.

Ok so I know I have already been dramatic about this, but I’m not finished. It’s not just that Eddie is looking at Buck the way Patrick is looking at David. Its the look combined with the hand on the shoulder.

The way they’re looking at each other and the context of the scenes is the whats really making me lose my mind. Eddie is saying how much he trusts Buck with his son and Patrick is telling David he loves him. A man who’s confessing his love his expression looks the same as a man pouring his heart out to his best friend about how much he trusts him with his son. Not only that he trusts him, but he trusts him more than anyone else in the world. In conclusion Eddie says I love you with out saying I love you and I already knew that but I’m going feral over this.
