Nightmare would be a bit caught off-guard when the other would join up with him, but after the initial surprise he seems to calm down some, having a friend nearby seems to help...well... Until another loud thunderstrike booms outside, rather close this time, making him let out a surprisingly high-pitched yelp, burying his head into the blankets and covering his ears, nearly hyper-ventilating for a bit before calming down a bit

Nightmare isn't too keen on storms so when a particularly bad one hits well...the usually composed Shiny Umbreon hybrid jumps a bit as thunder booms in the distance, quickly ushering the Chu inside as well before he quickly closes the place up, windows and all "I-I u-uhmmm...Ahhh...!"

The poor guy shivers all over, piling aa bunch of blankets from around the home and pulling them around himself, particularly over his ears as the rain starts to get quite powerful sounding akin to drums banging atop the roof and the wind howls as it whisks by... This is going to be a long night...

Desire gives Nightmare a piece of chocolate to help him wake up.

He sort of stares at it for some time...then suddenly chomps onto it, falls forward and mumbles some, not really eating it

Because Desire just wants too, he gives Mama Flare a box of his own chocolates.

Flare would pause to look them over before giving a warm smile and pulling Desire in for a hug, nine tails swaying in a content rhythm "Thank you dear...I love them..."

(( Sort of unsure what I am? regarding like...orientation and such. Never had a chance to figure out, was too busy dealing with life issues when I was young, and now I’m too afraid to try... Uhmmm...Nightmare though? He really doesn’t know either, mostly he loves who loves him regardless! ))

“Yeah uhmmm...that’s a long story but to cut it short we lived quite a long ways away, like...possibly a continent away? I hardly remember anymore...People became afraid after one individual of us decided to be tyrannical with their abilities and well...they hunted us for it. Unless there are others around the world then it’s just me and my mother left.” Nightmare would glance back up with a slight tilt of his head, those ears folding back some and frowning: sounds like him...? So that’s why people were looking at him so...skeptically or fearfully? ...if only it was simple enough to hide his ears and tail but it’s just not possible for him...he’d look like he has no ears! “...I believe you. Most would want to think fiction because they probably see our kinds as dangerous.”

Nightmare is a bit of a drifter (At least in this Verse) so it comes to no surprise that he'd end up in a town/city that he knows nothing about, wandering the streets after a long day of traveling. After some time he'd find a spot to sit down for a moment, though with how he is he sort of sticks out a little, hopefully he wouldn't attract unwanted attention?

Most people that walked by asked him about a costume, or called him a furry. The town was small, but further down the road it grew into a sprawling metropolis. Most of the people were still on edge after the whole werewolf thing, some asking if that was the last one, but there was still atleast three right under their noses.

A ‘young’ man walked past Nightmare, pausing to look at him, starring abit to long at him.

He hadn’t really noticed where he’d ended up, much too tired to even register there was anyone else there otherwise he may have darted off in an instant... His ring lights would dim to practically off when the presence of the other could be felt, luckily he’s too much of a deep sleeper to wake up to even being moved a bit, softly muttering a little bit but otherwise staying sound asleep... It’d be some time before he’d wake up, most likely he’d still be asleep when she awakes... 

Nightmare isn't quite sure where he's ended up but being as tired and sleepless he's been the past couple days he doesn't really care enough, finding a cool, secluded dark spot the short shiny Umbreon would curl up to hopefully maybe rest his weary head

Sylvia cracked an eye open as something soft settled against her chest. She'd been asleep on her side in the deepest part of her den, so her first thought was that an intruder must have gotten in.

But as soon as she caught sight of the small, fluffy shape curled up against her, any suspicion and defensiveness left her mind. Instead, she put an arm over the Umbreon and pulled him just a little closer. Questions could wait.
