Hello,
Just dropping by to apologize for not being here much. I’m totally fine, just tired of some bullshit I can read here so I’m staying away from Tumblr ^^
(I can pretty much say I’m finally free from this website XD)

Mrs. America 1x04 “Betty”
There will be no “Lavender Menace” bullshit here. Lesbians are welcome. Horizontal hostility is not.

I said no to Marion Guthrie’s plan, despite having no alternative and at the risk of losing the entire endeavor, because I refuse to situate a man in a position where he might interfere one day with my ability to repair things with you. You are the bravest person I have ever known, the truest person I have ever known, and I betrayed you, and it sickens me. I am so sorry for working so hard to protect the wrong things, for failing to see that there is nothing important that does not include you.

racism does not start and stop with celebrities. they can not dismantle anything with “their platforms.” it starts and stops with you. in your life. your individual choice to educate yourself, to check your microaggressions, your preconceived notions, your internalized and subconscious racism and your duty to check others when they are being racist.

Do you ever feel like you’re missing out on so much just because of being who you are and not someone else? Whenever I see a beautiful girl I wonder how it must feel to be that beautiful and if I’ll ever feel like that. Or when I see someone who’s confident and extroverted and I imagine how nice and easy it must be to be that way. Or when I see someone that’s my age who has already accomplished so much or been in so many places and experienced so many things, I can’t help but feel like time is falling from my hands like sand and I’m not getting better or going anywhere. I grew up watching movies and reading stories that made me believe that life was supposed to be constantly exciting and I haven’t felt that way many times and I just feel so stuck being myself. I wish I could be someone else for a while.
