M&yts is my favourite The 1975 song and it applied way too well to my previous very long relationship 💀. I had to fight tooth and nail to avoid associating the song with my previous partner and enjoying it after the breakup!!! But yes I think it’s one of their best romantic songs, that’s why matty likes it a lot as well imo

I think About You’s writing goes insanely hard because the whole song is a declaration of [I haven’t forgotten you], Do you think I have forgotten about you? How is that possible? How would that even work? In my head we’re getting married. Then you hear the other voice and she says I can’t remember. I can’t remember that one thing that made my heart surrender. The one thing that made me love you. I can’t remember, I think of you but I can’t remember. She hasn’t forgotten him either, but she (or maybe both of them) has forgotten the reason they were in love
