Hi lol
Okay... So there are so many reasons why I stopped making content lol. Really life was life’n & I just felt like I didn’t have anything new to offer to TS3. I’ve been even more adultier in the past year, so it really fell on the backburner.
I’m not a TS4 fan, so I won’t ever switch to making content for that game. EVER! I’m hopeful for Paralives tho...
Today I launched TS3 for the first time in forever & remembered how beautiful the game still is.
I started working on this world in 2020. It’s a highly modified version of Laguna Coast Lite by My Sim Realty. I started it for personal use and only ever finished the city side of the world. Each lot has a description and I wanted the world to have a story. I wanted lore and connection amongst the residents. I had so many plans lol. 
This world is literally DROWNING in CC and while I edited it a lot and all of the builds are mine, the world itself is a creation of My Sim Realty. For these reasons, idk if I’ll ever share it... maybe when/if I ever finish it, I’ll ask for permission lol. For now... here are pics!

I contacted @staff at Tumblr Support about it today, and even tried to make a backup account to tell y’all about it earlier today, but Tumblr banned that account too, so now I’m trying to get BOTH accounts back, FML.
This frikkin SUCKS, Tumblr–WHY are y’all making it so dang hard to make people want to even BOTHER with this site anymore? PLEASE do something about these nasty instant-terminations–at least the Flagging system warns us in advance, and just hides posts that aren’t allowed anymore, so do the same thing for posts with hyperlinks to outside websites you don’t want us linking to and clicking!!! 
How is it acceptable that are you are insta-banning simmers for reblogging content y’all LET US reblog in the first place? It’s THE SIMS, Tumblr–we’re not reblogging anything graphic or hateful or anything; we’re just trying to play with virtual Barbie dolls. (What on earth did that site (starting with a D) which shall not be named even do? O_O It was YEARS OLD reblogs of LACE DOILIES, DECORATIVE AIR CONDITIONERS, and GLASS FURNITURE, for crissakes! HIDE THE CHILDREN!)
I actually tried to delete the compromised posts on my CC Finds sideblogs, but lo and behold, the stupid posts wouldn’t even delete, and kept popping back up!
(Fun fact: I couldn’t even get my account termination letters at the Contact Support page to go through – I had to keep resubmitting them before the buttons would stop getting stuck in an endless loop–like REALLY? I can’t even do what you all tell us to do @staff. It’s not even watching what we reblog (the whole frikkin point of Tumblr, jfc) – it’s watching what we’ve ALREADY reblogged and are trying to get rid of, that can set Tumblr’s trigger-happy algorithm off.
So yeah, that’s my frikkin life right now, y’all. (-‸ლ)

Tutorial: Custom Shells P1 - Creating The Script
Helloooo! This is a quick crash course on how to edit/create the script for custom shell buildings. This is not a beginner tutorial! However, I’ve made it super easy for anyone who wants to try!
I decided to start with the script so that experienced cc creators and modders could just take it and go lol. There absolutely will be a more in depth tutorial, that will cover the entire process, as it is a long one! 
This part, however, is super important! After looking at the scripts for shells included in the game, I realized that each shell has an individual one.
This is the reason that some prior attempts have resulted in the shell not showing up in-game. The script cannot be copied and applied to a customized clone like other objects.
Now that we’ve solved that mystery, lets get into the tutorial!
Since I’m such a good person lol, I’ve included a prepared template. Everything is basically already coded and ready to go!  
It also includes unprotected versions of two core dlls: Sims3GameplaySystems.dll & Sims3GameplayObjects.dll
(I can barely take any credit lol, since the shells in the game have literally the same code with different class names. So, it is a super easy code!)
Creating The Script:
Required programs: 
Microsoft Visual Studio - For C# coding, be sure to install the .NET Desktop Development workload. See an installation tutorial for VS 2019 here.
You do not need to know how to code C# for this tutorial but it’s great if you already have some prior knowledge and/or experience using VS.
First start by opening the project in Visual Studio: 
Download & extract this folder and navigate to the “src” folder shown below.
Click “CustomShellBuilding” to open the project.

With VS now open, simply follow the directions written in the script (forgive my typos lol, they’ve been corrected): 
Rename the script class to something that is unique and probably wont be duplicated.

Once you have renamed the class, it will update both in the coding window and in the Solution Explorer.
The notes in green are 100% optional and do not affect the code at all. Feel free to delete them!

Now that the class name has been updated, the script is ready to build. 
Simply, click “Build” in the upper task bar and select “Build Solution”.

This step will create the .dll file that you will need to add to the .package file. 
To find the .dll, navigate to the “net20″ folder. The file path should be similar to what is highlighted below.

& Voila, It’s done! You’ve successfully created the script for your custom shell.
Next Steps:
This script can now be used for one custom shell. 
This process must be repeated for additional shells! 
To learn how to add the script to the package file, see “Adding The Script To The Package” in this great tutorial on MTS.
The script name added to the OBJK should be the following format:
Namespace.ClassName 
Ex) Sims3.Gameplay.Objects.Shells.UniqueName
Use this to create the FVN Hash for the S3SA resource.
Additionally, the Sims 3 Object Modding tutorial on MTS is helpful for beginners to reference.
Keep in mind that this is one step in this entire process. More tuts coming soon***.

Custom shells mini tut coming soon!
I’m working on my own shells but I definitely wanna share the very small victory that is getting custom shells to show up in game!
I have a couple of material tweaks before mine is ready though. I’m also traveling and working a lot lol! I got a lot of inspiration from Bahrain and I’m in Greece now, so I know I’ll feel super inspired here😂!
I also start school this month soooo… hopefully I’ll find a good balance. I promise, content is coming!!!

Tutorial: TSRW Instance Error Fix
It’s a shame it took me this long to figure this out lol! For anyone who is experiencing this little error, here’s a tut on how to avoid it by importing non BG objects correctly lol. So....
Assuming you already know the basics of TSRW and S3PE, I’m just gonna cover the error and how to fix it. 
There is already an explanation on how to import the package contents after getting this error, which you can see here. This method works fine but it causes the resulting package file to be completely jumbled and disorganized.
If you get an error that looks like this:

It means you did not properly import the package. This happens when importing expansion and stuff pack objects into TSRW. 
To avoid this error, simply uncheck “Preserve group ID” when importing from package and replace 0x00000000 with the corresponding group ID for that object. 
Base game objects have a group ID of 0x00000000
The example below is for a Late Night object, so the group ID is 0x28000000.

If you’re unsure of the group ID, you can see it by opening the file in S3PE.

I hope this helps anyone experiencing this issue! Lol I googled a fix and found the workaround but since I finally figured it out, I thought I’d share!

HELLO !! Your tutorials are very useful and updated, they are also very easy to understand, they really solved a lot of problems for me, you could make a tutorial that explains how to create and add a custom flag for a world, the flag that comes by default is a bit boring and it would be great that we could all have a unique flag for each world created and created by ourselves * - * !! regards

This is a really great idea!! It sounds as simple as duplicating & customizing the flag already in the game. However, it’s not recolorable as far as I know, so I can make a little tutorial on how to fix that. I hope this answers your question! Thank you for your support!
**update**
It looks like the only way to do this would be to create a new mesh for it. The flagpole in the game can be modified in TSRW but the flag itself can’t. If you want to add the “blowing in the wind” effect, that would involve some coding to apply it to the object.

U-Shaped Staircase V.1
Hey y’all! Ya girl finally figured out this whole coding thing and boyyy am I excited to share this one! Soooo....  *UPDATED Base Game Compatible*

I’ve spent the past few days learning C# so that I could make this vision come to life. Was it hard af? Yes! BUT now I can offer an object that doesn’t require 12 billion accessories, which is my biggest pet peeve about my first staircase set.
 Lets get into the details:
The U-Shaped Staircase V.1 is geo-state enabled, allowing for customization with just a few clicks! In Build/Buy mode, Ctrl+Shift Click on the staircase and the pie menu below will show 12 variations, in addition to the normal interactions:

!!!READ ME!!!
I have to give a big big S/O to Inge and Gosik for their Cottage Half Landing Modded Script Stairs. In short, their script removes the animation from the staircase and allows the sims to just jump from point A to point B.
I included the script by Gosik and Inge in this download for those who do not have the modded version of the Cottage Staircase. This script is required for the functionality of this staircase. With that being said, if you already have the modded Cottage staircase in your game, you do not need the NyS_GosikIngeScript package.
Now, on to the kinks!
Be mindful of the placement. I allowed objects, walls, and fences to intersect for customization purposes. The floor cutout on the right staircase can be a little wonky, adjusting placement makes it look as intended. This staircase is best used indoors.
While you can place objects under the staircase, they will not be functional. The Sim will see the staircase as an obstruction. However, placing objects in the open middle area won’t cause any issues. 
Since this staircase is derived from the spiral staircase, it will snap to the staircase on the lower level. While this works fine on the right staircase, the left is causing routing issues when going down. I’ll try to get this resolved as soon as I figure out what’s causing it lol. 
I decided to omit the outdoor shadows because it wouldn’t match the different variations. There are indoor shadows though!
This set has been play tested and shouldn’t have any conflicts. However, being that this is my first script, you never know lol! So if anything should arise, please let ya girl know asap and I’ll get it fixed!

!!!Read me!!!
Most of these objects are low-poly and will look fine in low-medium settings. However, high texture detail is recommended for the best quality.
The flowers, shrubs, and grass (all plants) are objects and are not Seasons enabled. They don’t have size variations like the traditional plants do. However, they do work with  Buhudain’s  OMSP Resizer! Like all objects, it may distort them a little, so I don’t recommend it’s use with the grass patches nor patio set.
All objects are outside and/or terrain only (rocks are outside only but can be placed on flooring. Grass can also be placed in a pond). Of course, you could always place them inside and/or on flooring with MoveObjects On.
Sims will treat the grass and patio as a rug and thus will be able to walk through/on them freely.
Conflicts:
All objects have been play tested and should not overwrite or conflict with anything. If you experience any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out and I’ll fix it asap!

Housekeeping Notes! Read Meeee!
There is now a base game version of the vanity! 
The dressers do have functional slots, meaning you can place house phones on them. However, sims won’t be able to reach them, so this is really for decoration purposes only. 
Idk why (eye roll) but some slots on the dressers do not move with the object. Meaning if you place a vase, for example, and move the dresser, the vase will just float in it’s original spot until moved.
The bed frames are actually modeled with tufting, so the poly count is high. I wont put the number but fyi, they big af lol. They still function in the game well and shouldn’t explode anyone’s computer. For reference, I use a gaming Pc and play on medium to high settings. 
The children’s bed is made to be used with NynaeveDesign’s kids bedding. It will not fit the single bed mattress. Also, teen & adult sims can sleep in it, but it morphs their feet, so I recommend it for child sims only. 
All objects have been play tested several times and should not cause any conflicts! If any arise in your game, please don’t hesitate to reach out so I can get it fixed ASAP.
