Her royal highness pressed her lips into a neutral facial expression she would not give Lady Boleyn the satisfaction of knowing that her grace was dissatisfied. Brown hues claimed her aggressor’s own and for that she revealed the slightest anger that she held towards the woman.  How could she? She was not the one who was sleeping with a married man, who so happened to be the king of England. Katherine folded her hands into the other and cleared her throat before addressing the screeching woman.

      ‘ How could I ? Lady Boleyn , H  o w   c o u l d  you?‘ 

She was the cause for her husband wanting a divorce, she was the reason England was renouncing the catholic church! It was all her. The queen’s patience was wearing, sucking in a shallow breath she continued from her previous statement.

Katherine bowed her head in respect for her king, for her husband. These accusations only reaffirmed her worry that his highness was growing bored of her. Dark locks framed the Spanish princess’ face as she kept her head low not wanting to cause her beloved any further grief.

     ‘ My  l o v e– ‘  perhaps it were ill of her to speak to his majesty in such an informal way but surely it was to show not only her loyalty to his grace but her unconditional love and adoration. Pressing thin lips together she kept her brown hues away, not wanting to set her husband on a tangent. 

In good news , the queen had been ill, not because sickness struck but because she carries his majesty’s child.
