Watching Dream on Netflix and there are so many Be Melodramatic easter eggs.. not to mention so many familiar faces from Be Melo.
Unsurprising because both are written and directed by Lee Byeong Heon, but I still find myself excited every time I spot a Be Melo reference.
Looks like another Be Melo rewatch is inevitable ^_^

Season two is making me realise that it’s so beautiful that Naksu would like/fall in love with Jang uk no matter her circumstances; first she was an assassin with high ambitions and very little time for feelings and she still fell in love with him, and now she doesn’t have any memories and believes herself to be Jin Buyeon, she STILL starts to like Jang uk like—

Alchemy of Souls is baaaack <3
AoS is back with Part 2. Bring out the honey biscuits!
Gosh, I’ve missed this show! So good to go back to Daeho and meet our favourites. The first episode was so great. So many favourite moments in this episode. And all the parallels hdfbjsfjdhfk.
Go Yoon Jung is so pretty and I can’t wait to see how her arc progresses.
Also, that last scene... Loved it so much. And the height difference in that hug.. absolutely precious.
P.S: AoS airing at this time slot is really helping with Under the Queen’s Umbrella withdrawals.

Under the Queen’s Umbrella is one of the few dramas that’s been consistently good right from the first episode. One of my top dramas of this year. It’s been a while since I looked forward to a particular day(s) of the week because it meant new drama episodes. Can’t believe we’re close to the finish line already..

A few thoughts on Ep.2:
Kim Kang Hoon has always been a great performer, one of my favourites amongst the young actors, and seeing him play a young Do Joon is such a delight. He has nailed some of SJK’s mannerisms (like in that scene where he’s being smug in front of his aunt and uncles), so much that it’s very easy to believe this is SJK’s younger self. Great casting decision, this one.
Loved Lee Sung Min’s performance! Especially his scenes with young Do Joon. Can’t wait to see his scenes with Joong Ki.
Also, whoever is responsible for the casting of this show deserves a raise because getting all these fantastic actors to play members of the Jin family is just brilliant. Jo Han Chul and Kim Shin Rok had my attention in every scene they were in.
That scene where Do Joon / Hyun Woo realises his mother might still be alive and goes to her was just.. Not to forget the moment when the focus switches from Do Joon’s mum to Hyun Woo’s.
The transition from young Do Joon to the grown up one was pretty nicely done
Bahahaha SJK flashing that V sign.
I’m also very curious about the grandmother. I want to see what role she’s going to play in this story.
It’s going to be a pain waiting for new episodes every week.

There were a few scenes from Ep.1 that reminded me of Vincenzo.
But the scene where Hyun Woo receives the pen with his name engraved on it from his brother really did it for me.
