(ON HIATUS) Asks open, name your price and I'll give you answers. A tiny house, overgrown with ivy appears on the side of a desolate road. Warm light spills from the windows, the smell of freshly baked pies looms in the air. Small figures made of felt and wire dance across the shelves, a music box plays. Come inside, it's warmer in here than it is out there.
Alright, I feel like exercising my writing for a bit before attempting to finish my composition final. Those that see this post, I’m a youngish writer from the pacific northwest with too much knowledge about faerie legends, midwest/pnw gothic, greek mythology, and the like. I run a blog as a character called the Warden, an ex-archfey of summer who peddles wishes in the shape of amber. I’m in the mood to write, so I’d appreciate it if you took the time to drop an ask in my askbox: tell me a name, a place, a fear, and a wish, and I will write you a slightly-fleshed out character or vibe based on those things. Here’s an example:
James / Mount Rainier / Sedatephobia / I want to dance
It is dark in the day oftentimes during those strange few weeks between winter and spring.
pirates really had it going on man...... high waisted skinny jean lookin ass pants........ loose fitting and often deep cut shirts........ tall boots.... the belts.... swords....... long hair a lot.......... where did it all go........
A song that you love from a genre you don’t usually like
A song that you liked when you where 10 that still slaps
A song that makes you want to go on an adventure
A song you’d want to dance with your partner to ( or future partner )
A song to stomp around and pout to
A song to listen to whilst you lie in a meadow
A song that reflects your views on love
A song to sing to the sun
A song you like that sounds like its on the soundtrack to an indie coming of age film
A song that you like that romanticises being a teenager
A song that makes you want to grab your friends jump up and down dancing and screaming the lyrics
A song that you like that the lyrics are just so beautiful they’re practically poetry
A song that you can imagine listening to in an abandoned church ( if it isn’t hozier im judging you, but whatever )
A song from the soundtrack of a film that you like so much after the film finished you immediately looked for it
A song for when the sun has gone down and you are feeling absolutely buck-wild with exhilaration!
A song that makes you feel like you’re strolling through Ancient Greece living your best life
A song that when you listen to it you’re transported to a liminal space, time is pointless and you must sit and wallow in the void that remains
A song to listen to on a long drive when you have the really strong urge to keep driving until you find somewhere to start a new life (preferably a europian city whose language you don’t speak)
