Ah, Shibata Katsuie was a breath of fresh air. The look in his eyes as if he’s given up and simply goes along with the motions... the perfect target. He’d have to plant the seeds carefully, but if done right he could bag a member of the Oda faction, and that could be useful. 

“Ah, you are Shibata-san, correct? I have a glorious proposition for you~! Shibata- no, Katsuie! It pains my heart to see a lost lamb suffer, and as such I would like to extend a helping hand! In fact, as a follower of Xavi, it is my duty to do so!”

Yoshitsugu wasn’t one Sorin quite clicked with. Someone as scheming as that fellow was difficult to deal with. He couldn’t quite tell what buttons to push, but perhaps that had to change. After all, he was quite influential with the Western forces. “Ootani, I’ve been thinking for a while, and how would you like to form an alliance?” Yes. Converting Yoshitsugu would be no simple task, but if he could get their army on board, that would definitely extend their reach, and perhaps give them access to more resources. “I think it would be quite beneficial for us both, don’t you agree?”
