When I was 18 my dad passed away, so to mark his 1 year passing I decided to get a paramore tattoo. The Misguided ghost kind of represents my journey in finding myself again. Losing my dad was the most difficult thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. The pain is still unbearable to this day. Paramore’s music has helped me not only find myself again, but appreciate most things in life. “Can someone care to classify, our broken hearts and twisted minds so I can find, someone to rely on and run to them…” RIP dad 11/09/15

My first paramore tattoo, these lyrics were so relevant to me at the time I got this done and just the reminder that there’s always hope kept me going and got me through it all. This tattoo will always keep helping me through the tough times, never lose hope ♡

I got the bars for obvious reasons, but also because being at Paramore concerts is the only place where I truly feel like I belong. I also feel so welcomed by the band and the parafam. I had Hayley write out Traveling Endlessly for me because Misguided Ghosts is the one song that has helped me through so many of my hardest moments. I’m so happy to finally have it permanently on my skin. Feels like it was meant to be on there :)

In all honesty, Anklebiters isn’t even close to being my favourite Paramore song. But this lyric meant something to me from the first time I heard it. It’s something I don’t do a lot of and I need to learn how to. If you don’t love yourself how can you expect anyone else to?

Hope tattoo was actually my first tattoo. It means a lot to me. Everytime I’m sad, or not sure about what I’m doing with my life, I think about those lyrics, take a look at my tattoo and then I know everything will be okay in the end. I know that Paramore will always be here to help me. And then I’ve got my parabars. Got it in january. Always wanted it, but when Jeremy left the band, I was like “ I really need it. To remember that the self titled album was one of the greatest period of my life, that Jeremy was a part of it and that I will always love him no matter what. Paramore is just.. I can’t even explain how much I love them. It’s been 6 years and I’m still in love with them. With their music. Just in love with this band. So yeah, that was my story ! So sorry for my english 😂 Love xx

I’ve wanted this tattoo for well over a year now. And yesterday I finally got it. I don’t care what people think about me getting a band tattoo. Because I plan on getting many more. Paramore has become such a huge part of my life and its mostly thanks to my best friend megisanerdfighter A lot of people have told me that I’d regret getting a band tattoo or that in a few years the bands won’t mean as much to me as they do now. And even if they don’t..yknow what? Those bands were there when no one else was, when I felt hopeless or scared or suicidal..I could always turn to music. I got this tattoo because the lyrics always stuck with me since I first heard them. I’ve struggled for years with body issues, self loathing and just not wanting to be who I am at all. Recently I’ve gotten to a good place with my self image. I loved the idea of having amethyst bursting out of the heart because amethyst represents strength and the irregularity of the crystals kinda represents how my road to recovery wasn’t perfect, just like this heart. Sounds kinda cheesy but every time I look down at my thigh and see this tattoo, I know I’ll be reminded that I’ve made it this far & I’ve got so much farther to go.
