Traveler: Someone who travels a lot or someone who likes traveling?

Sometimes i see on people's profiles over various social networks, they describe theirselves among others like travelerls, travelfans, travelfreaks and so on. But actually most of them don't really travel around the world, visiting countries and engaging with other civilizations. They just enjoy the photos uploaded on flickr, or those uploaded on Google Earth or the youtube videos. So being someone who loves to travel is it different from being someone that likes to view photos and videos of cool places far away from home???
