hey I'm finally back with that thing I said I'd do a month ago! The written Dahlia language - Symphony! Some rules: 1. There are two notations, Treble and Bass. 2. Only empathy daemons are required to write in Treble notation (all other daemons/demons use Bass notation) 3. Stewards are in charge of teaching an empathy daemon Treble notation whilst under their care. 4. Treble is always written on 5 line which affects how many characters a word ends up being. 5. The Chorus created treble notation when they made the decision to cloak all empathy daemons. BASS RULES 1. Start at Top A 2. Every Note TREBLE RULES: 1. Start at Bottom F 2. Every Other Note 3. Words are in 4 symbol + 5 symbol notation (Ex: Caelum below) ALL: Left to Right NOTE: these are not english alphabet adjacent - they are based on the IPA which is a phonetic alphabet based on the most common sounds in international alphabets (not including non-phonetic alphabets such as Arabic, Chinese, etc.) Below the cut are the Symbols and their noises as well as an example of how to write them/ the difference between Bass and Treble. I'd love to see what yall come up with so please feel free to send me some of your examples in the replies or in my ask box!
