I found it on the comic con @daryfromthefuture and i visited earlier this month at a booth that sold old cassettes.

It was produced by the german labe EUROPA, who have been producing audio plays aimed at children and teenagers since the 1960s.

This particular audio play was released in 1989 and the voice actors are mostly the same ones as in the german dub of bttf 2.

There are audio plays for all three parts and all of them have been uploaded to youtube:

(Fun fact: The voice actors for marty and doc also voiced their characters in a fan made audioplay from 2005 that (from what i can tell) follows the plot of doc getting arrested in a pison for time travellers in the year 2985, and getting send to a desert in nevada around the year 500 B. C.)

The plot of the audiobook of bttf 2 has the same plot as the movie, with some minor changes being made to make it work better as an audio play (for example instead of running over a bunch of trash cans with the DeLorean, doc asks marty where they keep their trash) and some other minor changes being made for reasons i have yet to understand (like George calling Linda very fat for some reason).

Also, it appears that they did not get the rights for the music of the film and replaced it with their own, definitly worse compositions.

#thank you for asking me to elaborate #and giving me an excuse to ramble #listening to this casette was so nostalgic for me #because it sounds exactly like the audio plays of the late 2000s and early 2010s i grew up listening on #actually one of the few memories i have of being toddler aged was the immense joy i felt after my mom gave me #a whole shoe box filled with as many casettes that could possibly fit in there #i loved these kinds of audio plays #also i just realized that i never actually ended up listening to the second half of this cassette #the first half ended with leaving 2015 #so im curious how they fir the entirety of alternate 1985 and 1955 in the other half #also i should mention that i didnt listen to or read the script of the fanmade audio play #i just read through a like summary/teaser and decided not to bother with wich character is being referred to at any given time #and to omit some parts like a whole bit abt this prison deciding that the most cost effecrive way of execution #is dressing up the prisoner in a nazi uniform and leaving them in the vicinity of angry allied soldiers in 1945

2. Many, many t-shirts, The book abt the musical, get thee... Back to the future!, many many pins, prints of bttf art, some signs, replica DeLorean keys, lights for my Lego Delorean, a mug, a bag, a coaster, a casette of a german audio play of bttf 2, the water bottle from the musical in new york, and the bttf 2 mug from spirit halloween!!! (i dragged my mom to three different spirit halloweens during our trip to new york to get it)

6. Iirc i participated in the stuck through timelines collab, so thats probably my only fanfiction this year. In terms of fanart the one i am most proud of is probably a 3d model i started on in december of last year and finished this year in january iirc and then printed out on three different 3d printers.

7. Twice: Both times the online plan had said on the day before that my first class of the day would be cancelled, so obviously i didnt get to school in time the next morning after realizing that my classes were not actually cancelled.

I live in germany and sm not allowed to drive a car on my own, of course i have been on trains, i cant skate and this year i didnt try to, i did not ride any horses or drive any DeLoreans this year (but i have sat in one), i ran in rain a lot, did not go on any dances, i got a huge clock for my birthday at the beginning of the year and i did not hang it up yet. It is taking up half of my couch. In fact my feet are resting upon it at the very moment. Guitar hero doesn't count, right? None. I dont read a lot, but I picked up neuromancer on my trip to helsinki this summer, I read the first three or four chapters and i have been unable to find this book. I hope i didnt leave it in tallin. I ate for the first time in years at burger king and had an awful experience so i wont be doing that again for the forseeable future.

15. Im gonna turn 18 soon. I will graduate highschool and hopefully start university next year. Maybe i will move out. So ig next year will all be about becoming an adult.

2) Why did you choose your URL?

I had tried to come up with usernames over and over again before coming on tumblr and i felt that every serious one just didnt feel right, so i decided that my username on tumblr should to be a sort of parody of these usernames that are meant to be like cool and edgy... ig. Given that premise i came up with pine_killer as a username in that style that fit marty mcfly. Later i decided to add some numbers at the end because i thought it would be funny and tumblr didnr allow underscores so i used a hyphen instead

3) what is your middle name?

I dont have one. Im glad i dont even like the first one.

4) if you could be any mythical creature, what would you be?

I think i'd pick a sort of shapeshifter. (Is that a reflection of how much i hate the way i look? Idk...)

Already over by mike shinoda has been stuck in my head for days now. I have no idea how i missed its release in early october. I just really like pretty much every  piece of music mike shinoda has created. I've been on his concerts twice and i was so onsessed with watcjing his livestreams on twitch during the early months of lockdown.
