This is not only for Day 1 of ShiningInktober but also a tribute to Yoshitaka Tamaki, who was recently announced to have passed away earlier this year.

RIP Yoshitaka Tamaki. Thank you for not only being a defining part of my childhood (and still-current interest tbh) but also a defining influence on the development of my own art style.

I was shocked and incredibly hurt to have learned the news... Shining Force has always been such a huge part of my life. I still replay LoGI and SFII. It's even influenced my other hobbies; I've made DND characters inspired by Shining Force and ran a DND one-shot based on the first two battles of LoGI. My friends have never played the games but they even look at the art and they can see where I get my style from.

I hope that Tamaki-sensei's family is healing and that he is at peace.

Dragon Booster was a HUGE part of my childhood and tbh it’s something I still love today!! I was so excited when I first heard about this project and am so glad to have done a page illustration for my favourite character!!

The mods and contributors put so much hard work and love into this. You can feel the love for the show in every piece.
