High ignorance about ADHD among physicians continues. My mom decided to ask an ENT for advice about ADHD and those were the worst things a stranger has ever said to me. TONS of disinformation, intimidation and devaluation.

"This is a dramatic age"

"Do you hear voices? So you don't need a psychotherapist"

"Did your psychologist diagnose you? No? Change her then"

"All psychotherapists have terrible mental problems. Because who wants to hang out with psychos?"

"You will be forcibly taken to a psychiatric hospital and you will not like it there"

"ADHD Diagnosed in childhood"

And finishing, plunged me into shock:

"Attention deficit is when in a large family the eldest does not have enough attention and he attracts the attention of parents with mental problems"

My parents are very intimidated by the psychiatric hospital and no matter how many rebuttals I give them, they now have doubts about my going to a psychotherapist tomorrow.

It doesn’t matter to them that this person doesn’t know what ADHD is, doesn’t distinguish between a psychologist and a psychotherapist, gives advice in a field that he doesn’t understand and exposes psychotherapists as psychos without mercy. They were scared and he scared them even more.

I really hate him.

Continuation of my ADHD diary.

The neurologist gave me a neurosis because "Only children can have ADHD". I'm minor btw.

I continue to go to therapists. I'm going to see a psychotherapist on the 31st and I was promised that he is good. I hope.

Used a different fabric from the other outfits I made cuz I couldn't find the right colors. I think this fabric suits the fact that it's an apron, though. I might also make his oven mits soon, if I feel like it.
