Chapter 18 - Problem Solving Is Easy! (If You Already Know How To)
Summary: Josh rants at 500 words per minute.
The massive group entered Sky Tower, and saw it was completely empty, not a single Pokemon there. It made going through the tower a lot easier, but it was still suspicious. Nothing got in their way as they climbed the tower. The tower was a lot taller than before, though. The teams made it through 99 floors. A lot of them were out of breath from climbing so many stairs, but they got to the top, where they saw Rayquaza, looking off into the distance.
"Hey, Rayquayquay," Nero shouted, "I can call you that, right?"
Rayquaza turned around to see Nero. "Give me one reason I shouldn't kill you and all your friends right now."
"Wow, you really did not like that nickname, okay then." Nero took a deep breath. "So… You, uh, remember the last time we were here we needed you to get rid of a meteor? Yeah… uh… well… y'know…"
"There's another meteor," said Pyra. "Can you deal with that again?"
"No," said Rayquaza. "Leave me alone." He then noticed some of them setting up some tents. "Wh- Huh? What are you doing?"
"We had a feeling you'd say no, so… We're not leaving until you do!" Nero said in an aggressively cheerful tone.
"If the universe wants the world to be destroyed, then who am I to stop it? Why not just let it happen?"
Josh popped out of the tent, very annoyed. "Here we go again." He walked in front of Rayquaza, and then started talking as fast as he could.
"Thisworldisworthlivingin.Doyoureallythinkyoullbehappyiftheworldisgone?Idontthinkso.Youcantjustnotcareaboutthefateoftheworld,ifthatmeteorhitsus,everythingwouldbegone.Doyoureallywantthat?Wouldyouratherdieasalonelyloserwholettheworlddiebecauseyoudidntcare,orwouldyouratherliveandbehappy,bitch?Idestroyedtheveryideaofcynicism,mistrust,hatred,andapathytosavetheworld,andyouhavetheaudacitytoletthatallgotowastebecauseyoucouldntcareabouttheworldending?Doyourealizehowstupidthatsounds?Sohowaboutyouobliteratethatmeteorbeforeitsendsallofustooblivion."
Everyone was silent, probably because they were trying to figure out what Josh just said.
"Did… did you just call Rayquaza a bitch?" Johmathoscalomew whispered to the Oshawott.
Josh took a deep breath. "AND ANOTHER THING." He kept going for a while.
"…Whodoyouthinkyouare?'Ooh,lookatme,I'magiantspacedragon,thatmakesmesuperiortoeveryone.'fuckoff.You'renotspecial,you'rejustanasshole.Sogetoffyourlazybumanddestroythatfuckingmeteor.Wehavenineteenpokemonhere.WecandoaTeamAttack.Soifyoudon'tgetridofthatmeteor,wewillhurtyou.I'mnotsureifyoucanevensurvivethat.Let'snotfindout."
Josh then took another deep breath, but before he could continue speaking, Johmathoscalomew grabbed him and covered his mouth while dragging him back to the tents.
Rayquaza said "I'm going to ignore that" before hearing Josh yelling from a tent. And then he continued to ignore him. "How do you even get here, we're in the clouds. And it doesn't look like any of you can fly."
Nero pulled out the Teleport Gem. "This thing lets us teleport here. It's how we got here last time, as well."
"Here's a fun idea," Rayquaza said, angrily sarcastic, "Why don't you just TELEPORT the meteor away, huh?"
Kilo was shouting in excitement. "THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING!! TELEPORT THAT ROCK AWAY!! I'm so glad someone else understands."
Nero sighed. "Okay, experts, how would you even do tha-" Before he could finish his sentence, Kilo swiped the Teleport Gem and disappeared.
Before anyone realized what had just happened, Kilo reappeared, midair, before falling. He gave a thumbs up, still lying on the floor, and said "I did the thing."
Nero grabbed the Teleport Gem back. "You… YOU TELEPORTED THE METEOR AWAY??"
"ye"
"Perfect," said Rayquaza. "Now get out." He started to charge a Hyper Beam.
Everyone frantically put down the tents and then gathered around the gem to teleport out of there.
-----
Nero accidentally sent everyone to Pokemon Square in the Air Continent, rather than Treasure Town in the Grass Continent.
Sierra suddenly grabbed the Teleport Gem. "Nope. Not coming back here." He then teleported everyone to Treasure Town.
Nero then grabbed the gem again and put it in his bag. "CAN PEOPLE STOP GRABBING IT? PLEASE?"
Umbreon and Espeon were looking at the gem. Nero noticed and sternly said "no."
"A gem that lets you teleport anywhere? That could revolutionize travel!" Umbreon enthusiastically said.
"Much faster than Entercards, that's for sure," said Espeon. "How'd you get it?"
Meanwhile, Kilo, Sierra, and Delta went home. It was right before noon, so they decided to sleep.
Sky and Phos snuck away from the group. They went to the beach to talk to Lapras, because they had a feeling they knew what was coming next.

The plan is simple.
it always works, just teleport it away, then disintegrate it (optional)

Chapter 17 - 99 Problems... A Meteor Sure Is One.
Summary: Another meteor? Kinda weird how the bad stuff the main characters have already faced are happening again. Pretty suspicious, to be honest. Wonder what that's about.
"So… problem solved, right?"
They all felt that the whole situation with Axe would have constituted a 'catastrophe', so the group of teams assumed that everything was fine now. Everything was not , in fact, fine.
The Xatu of Treasure Town came running to the group holding a letter. "IJUSTGOTALETTERFROMMYBROTHERANDHESAIDTHATTHERESAMETEORCOMINGANDITSGONNAHITUSANDWEREALLGONNAD-"
Josh slapped Xatu in the face. "Dude, slow down."
The group could only make out a few words of what Xatu said. They all started talking amongst themselves, and it was hard to tell who was saying what.
"Did he say 'meteor'?!? "
"It's gonna hit here?!?"
"Not again…"
"What do you mean 'again'?!?"
"Why don't we just… evacuate everyone?"
"What if the meteor's big enough to kill everyone, though?"
"Wait, didn't you guys blow up a meteor before, just do that again!"
"We got help for that, we didn't do it ourselves, you know."
"We're all doomed…"
Kilo cleared his throat. " Ahem . It's just a meteor, no big deal. Could be worse. At least the Sun's not blowing up again, that was such a pain. Anyway, we just need to… y'know…" He then grabbed an imaginary meteor, moved it to the side, then did some punching motions.
"You want to… move the meteor… then PUNCH it??" Nero asked, completely baffled.
"The punching's optional, it just makes me feel better. In my experience though, relocating meteors is not that hard." Kilo said. "Just gotta tele… Oh. Right. "
"I'm sorry, were you about to say 'teleport' ? You wanted to TELEPORT the meteor away?"
"I just remembered that I can't do that anymore. Sorry. You guys wouldn't happen to know anyone who could teleport meteors a few light years away, right?"
Nero turned to Pyra. "Albatross?" Pyra nodded and said "Allegedly."
"You know an albatross that can allegedly teleport the meteor away?" Kilo asked. "Okay, ask them, then!"
"Wait, he's on another continent, how are we gonna ask him?" Pyra pointed out.
"Oh, another continent? Easy! Just-" Kilo cut himself off before realizing. "Right. I forgot again."
Josh's voice came from behind Kilo, startling him and making him almost punt Josh accidentally. "Hydreigon can appear on the planet anywhere instantly, where is this alba-whatever guy?"
"Okay, his name is actually Alakazam, we just like to call him anything but that. He's in the Air Continent, Pokemon Square…" And then Nero proceeded to completely dox Alakazam, and also adding information that wasn't really necessary.
Hydreigon then just vanished. Instantly. Absolutely popped out of existence. It really surprised everyone (except Josh and Johmathoscalomew, who were used to it). A minute later, Hydreigon spontaneously appeared. Along with Alakazam.
"You have the Teleport Gem for a reason," Alakazam said, very annoyed. "Use it." He then teleported away.
Nero and Pyra had completely forgotten that they had the Teleport Gem, since they literally only ever used it twice. After digging around in his bag, Nero pulled out the gem.
"Alright, let's go bother Rayquaza again. You all coming with?"
Everyone (except Xatu, who just went back to his shop) agreed to go. All… nineteen of them. There were nineteen of them now. Half were from Josh's team.
In fact, it would be a good idea to go over who exactly was there, grouped by teams.
Nero (Blastoise) and Pyra (Blaziken) from the Air Continent.
Sky (Lucario) and Phos (Luxray) from the Grass Continent.
Josh (Oshawott), Johmathoscalomew (Snivy), Hydreigon, Emolga, Dunsparce, Virizion, Keldeo, Espeon, and Umbreon from the Mist Continent.
Sierra (Zangoose), Kilo (Toxtricity), Delta (Lairon), and Uni (Swampert) from the Grass Continent.
Axe (Haxorus) from… somewhere… and Obsidian (Quilava) from the Grass Continent.
The nineteen Pokemon appeared at the base of Sky Tower. Even though traveling as one giant group would be very inconvenient, Sky Tower only has one path to the top, so splitting up into their respective teams would be useless. They all went inside the tower to begin their climb.

Okay, but what WAS Axe up to?
A spinoff fanfic based around Axe (the Fraxure, now Haxorus) from pofatrgwf, and what he's been doing.
Chapter 1 link on AO3 below
Summary: "Axe died thirteen years ago. He was the first human to arrive in the Pokemon world. So what WAS he up to?"
There was a human child named Axle. Even though his family struggled financially, he was happy in life. But he never interacted with anyone else. His only friend was the family pet Fraxure, who he considered more as an older brother. Despite a language barrier, the two completely understood each other. In fact, Axle was very good at understanding Pokemon. To him, there was no difference between humans and Pokemon, both were people.
When Axle was 7 years old, some armed burglars broke into his family’s apartment. He hid under a table and saw his parents get killed. His older brother tried attacking the burglars, but ended up getting shot in the chest. He saw Axle under the table and told him to run. Axle then dashed out from the table and ran to the door. But suddenly…
BANG!
The next thing he knew, Axle was in a blue void. And his head hurt. A LOT. He rolled on the ground, screaming in pain. There was a voice trying to talk to him, but he was in way too much pain to listen. A few minutes of screaming later, he calmed down. The voice started talking again.
“Axle. Your life has been cut short. Too short. I would not usually do this, but I have decided to make an exception for you.”
Axle looked towards the source of the voice and saw a large white Pokemon.
“Arceus??” Just seeing Arceus shocked him, but then Axle realized what he said. “I’M DEAD??”
“Unfortunately, yes. Normally, I would simply let you pass on, but I've decided to give you a second chance at life."
"ok"
"You're… fine with that? No questions asked?"
"My entire family died right in front of me, it's not like I have anything to come back to."
Then the floor underneath him revealed the sky. And then he fell.
----
Axle had already been through enough pain in one day to last a lifetime, so when he hit the ground, he just lied on the floor, too tired to even feel pain anymore. But that wouldn't stop him from crying.
A few hours later, a Nidoran found him asleep. He dragged him all the way to his house, and waited for him to wake up. When he did, Axle was lost in thought, not moving a muscle.
('Today has definitely been the worst day of my life. I don't think it could get any worse than thi-')
Axle's thoughts were interrupted by the Nidoran poking his face. He'd actually been poking him for a while, but Axle just noticed now. He decided to ignore him.
"Dude, are you okay?" asked the Nidoran. "You're not even reacting to my pokes. You dead inside or something?"
Axle sat up. "Considering that I actually, legitimately, really died, for real, like a few hours ago, maybe."
"what"
"Look, today's been possibly the worst day of my life. Dying really hurts."
As Axle turned his head to sleep on his side (again), he accidentally smacked the Nidoran's head with his tusk. "Oh, sorry about tha… Wait a second." Axle then looked down at his body and realized he was no longer human, but rather, an Axew. "I die, then become an Axew… how fitting…"
"You're pretty weird. Anyways, what's ya name?"
"It's Axle. Yours?"
"Nido. N-I-D-O. For some reason, everyone keeps saying 'Needle' instead. It's Nido. So, Axel-"
"It's Axle, not Axel."
"I… said that?"
"You said Axel, not Axle."
"But, that's the same thing?? I can't tell the difference."
"I know, but I can tell you're spelling it wrong. It's A-X-L-E, not A-X-E-L."
Nido sat down completely dumbfounded at the fact that Axle could somehow tell how he was spelling his name, even though they were talking outloud.
"How do you feel about nicknames?"
Axle only shrugged in response.
"Okay… Axe… where 'ya from?"

Chapter 16 - Problem Solved... Right?
If a team attack gets stronger the larger your team is... How far can you take that?
Axe passed out from exhaustion as soon as he got to the hospital. He woke up in a hospital bed next to Obsidian, who had his legs covered in bandages. The two were too tired to get up, so they just stayed there.
“Hey… What exactly did I do to you, anyway?” Axe asked, to kill the silence.
Obsidian started to list it off, nonchalantly. “You threw me at a tree. Then you threw a tree at me. Th-”
“I THREW A TREE??” Axe yelled in shock.
“Yeah. Anyways. You then pummeled me so much, kicked me while I was down, and I can’t remember much afterwards. I guess you scratched my legs at one point, but I was barely conscious then.”
Axe apologized with a "Sorry, dude" and then tried to change the topic. "How would you feel about helping me take down that cult?"
"Sure. But not now. I need a… day? to recover."
"Fair enough."
---
Many weeks later, Josh's team, Team Paradise, finally arrived in Treasure Town. The moment they did, however, a giant flash of light came from a forest nearby to the north of Treasure Town. Or at least, what used to be a forest. Because immediately afterward, there was a large, deafening green explosion. Everyone in Treasure Town headed toward the explosion to see what happened. Even Wigglytuff's Guild went.
Along the way, they encountered a new town along the coast, but no one was there. There were tents with supplies, a campfire that was still lit, and some buildings that were still being built. It looked like people were there earlier that day, which made it seem even more strange that it's completely empty. But it wasn't like they could find anything out just standing around, so they decided to continue heading to the source of the explosion.
There, they saw the remains of some building (it was completely blown apart beyond the point of any recognition) along with about 80 Pokemon where the inside would have been. Among them was a passed out Haxorus with a distinct mark on his head that made everyone realize that it was Axe. They all went back to that new town, with 5 Pokemon carrying Axe.
As soon as they put Axe down somewhere to rest, everyone from Treasure Town started asking about that explosion.
"I genuinely have no idea," Obsidian said to the giant crowd. "There was this green aura coming from everyone, then everyone raised their hand at the same time, and then a giant explosion. Then, the guy we were fighting just… disappeared? Did we just kill them??"
"When you say 'everyone'… do you mean ALL 80 OF YOU???" Josh asked, terrified.
"ye why"
"YOU DID A TEAM ATTACK WITH 80 POKEMON????????????"
Team Paradise were the only Pokemon awake who knew what Team Attacks were, so they had to explain.
"No wonder Axe is out cold," Josh continued, "you don't just do a team attack with EIGHTY POKEMON!!"
"Do you think-"
"Yes, that guy you all were fighting is absolutely dead. Annihilated. Obliterated. Eviscerated. Anyone else around you would be too."
---
3 Days later, Axe woke up in Treasure Town, in the hospital again. Obsidian sat next to him.
Even though he just woke up, Axe was still pretty sleepy. "Did we do it?"
Josh suddenly appeared from behind Obsidian. "YOU BLEW UP AN ENTIRE FOREST. Whatever you were trying to do, you probably did it. You're insane, Axe."
Axe weakly said "yaay" before going back to sleep.
Josh turned to Obsidian. "Hey, Quilava guy (I don't know your name), what the heck happened? This guy goes missing for a month, and then erases an entire forest from existence. Explain."
"It's a long story."
Josh then left the building, confusing Obsidian for a bit. A few minutes later, Josh came back, along with the rest of his team, Sky and Phos, Nero and Pyra, and Sierra's team. Josh brought them all there so they could all hear what happened at the same time, because constantly repeating the same story over and over would get annoying, especially if it's very long.
"To be honest, there's some parts that I don't really know, since it happened like thirteen years ago or something in a completely different continent, so you'll have to Axe ask- I mean ask… As- Question the Pokemon that is currently asleep."
Right on cue, Axe woke up again. He was still pretty sleepy, but he didn't want to go back to sleep again.
"Thirteen years ag…o… zzzzzzzz…" He then rolled off the bed. "Needed to wake myself up, sorry. Uh… where was I?"
"Thirteen years ago? Were you even in this world then?" Nero asked. "I only got here like 8 years ago."
"I died thirteen years ago." That statement made Obsidian yell "HUH???", but everyone ignored him. Everyone else already knew Axe had died before. "Transformed into an Axew, met Arceus, got sent to this world, blah blah blah."
This time, everyone else (with one exception) shouted. "YOU MET ARCEUS??????"
"Uh, yeah? You guys didn't?"
Kilo quietly asked "Who's Arceus?"
Axe then started to explain his entire life story, from when he died, all the way to the present. The amount of time it took for him to finish could give Hydreigon a run for his money. Speaking of, Hydreigon was the only one who was still awake by the time Axe finished. Everyone else had already fallen asleep hours ago.

Chapter 15 - Have You Ever...?
Summary: you ever just black out and beat someone half to death? CONTENT WARNING: Violence, Blood mention
Axe woke up at 2 am after having another nightmare. He got up from his bed and quietly left the inn. The town was covered in complete darkness, and it was completely silent. Almost no one was awake at this time. Axe walked out of town, and just kept walking, no destination in mind. He just walked for the sake of walking. Where he'll go is for him to find out later.
Suddenly, he heard a kid scream for help. He ran to the source of the screaming and saw a cloaked figure kidnapping a Nidoran. He recognized the cloak, and felt an anger he had not felt in years rise up inside him. They weren't supposed to be here. They weren't supposed to be anywhere. He put an end to them. All of them. And they were doing the same thing they did all those years ago. The very same thing that started his whole ordeal. What forced him to kill his brother. He kept getting more and more enraged, and then everything went dark.
---
Kilo woke up in a void. It was pitch black, not a single bit of light. It was also very cold. Way below freezing, actually. Absolute Zero, to be exact. He just floated in place. He could only watch the nothingness, unable to do anything. He couldn't even shiver, as it was that cold.
"Oh, I've been here before! The Heat Death sure sucked a lot, to be honest… Why am I dreaming about it now?"
He wanted to look at himself, as he was curious about whether he would look like his original form or his Toxtricity form in his dream. But Absolute Zero means a complete halt of everything, even light. So he couldn't see himself.
Kilo woke up with Sierra's hand on his head. Kilo immediately started shivering, even though it wasn't that cold anymore. But the fact that his mind felt that temperature made him uncontrollably shiver regardless.
"Woah! Kilo, what's wrong? First, your entire body was really hot, and now you're shivering? Are you okay??" said Sierra, who sounded really concerned for Kilo's health.
Kilo stopped shaking after a few moments. "Y- Yeah… Just a… really cold dream."
"But… you weren't shivering when you were asleep…"
"Have you ever heard of the term 'Absolute Zero?'"
Sierra shook his head. Kilo took a deep breath as he was about to explain everything about his dream.
"Okay, so Absolute Zero. Really cold. Coldest temperature possible, actually. You literally cannot get colder than Absolute Zero. Nothing moves. Nothing can move. Movement makes heat, so in Absolute Zero, the absence of ALL heat, there cannot be any movement. So. You can't really shiver if it's that cold. I still feel really cold, actually…"
Sierra wrapped his arms around Kilo to provide some body warmth. "But your body was heating up while you were asleep. Actually… It's still pretty hot. Why?"
Kilo shrugged. "Maybe my body was trying to heat up to counteract how cold I felt?"
"Why was your dream in such a cold temperature, anyway?"
"Ever get dreams of random events that you actually experienced?"
Sierra nodded in response. He did not like where this was going.
"Cool, Have you ever wondered how the universe will end?"
---
It took the rest of Treasure Town about a week to realize that the Blastoise and Blaziken from the Air Continent are indeed THE Blastoise and Blaziken from the Air Continent. And as soon as they realized this, they started crowding around the two. They kept asking questions, asking for autographs, and more.
"Can you do this later? I'm really hungry right now," Pyra grumbled, very annoyed.
Nero bluntly said "I'm busy" before picking up Pyra, putting her on his shoulders, and walking through the crowd, completely disregarding anyone in his way.
The two ordered some take out before going back into town. They'd been there for about a week already, and they had no idea what they should do. So, they went to Treasure Town's Xatu, who was the brother of the Air Continent's Xatu.
"Hey, Xatu's little bro," Pyra said, slightly annoyed. "Any news from your brother? He sent us here to deal with this 'catastrophe' but he hasn't told us a single thing about it!
Xatu picked up a Treasure Chest from beneath the counter. It looked as if it were already opened, but there was something inside. Xatu was reaching for something inside. "So you're the ones who keep annoying my brother…"
The Blaziken had a very bad feeling about this. But before she could say anything, Xatu grabbed two Orbs from the Chest and threw them at Nero and Pyra. The Orbs shattered on impact, but didn't actually do any damage (except for the getting-smacked-in-the-face-with-the-orbs part).
"Have you ever thought about being patient for once in your life?" Xatu whisper-yelled. "He told me how much you two harass him."
---
Axe was in the middle of what he assumed to be a forest. He looked down at his feet and saw a Quilava who was almost beaten to death. Axe's throat felt dry, as if he had been yelling, but he doesn't remember doing anything like that recently. Actually, he doesn't remember how he got here. Nor anything that happened today. But he felt slightly angry, and he didn't know why. He crouched down to check if the Quilava was okay.
"Who did this to you?" Axe asked, also noticing claw marks on the Quilava's legs. The Quilava didn't say anything, but pointed at Axe. Axe couldn't even remember meeting anyone, let alone hurting them this much. He looked up at the sky and realized it was also noon. So about 8 hours had passed from what he last remembered. He felt a little guilty about attacking the Quilava, before noticing a cloak with a specific pattern he recognized. "Is that yours?" Axe asked. "Y-yeah… you… ripped… it off…" the Quilava responded, having to take deep breaths between every word.
Axe no longer felt guilty about beating up the Quilava. But he decided to give him an Oran Berry, as he didn't want him to die. Yet.
"How you answer my next questions will determine whether or not you live."
The Quilava was terrified, and could only nod in response.
"One: How many of you are there?"
The Quilava took a few minutes to catch his breath. "I… don't know… My mind is… all hazy…"
"But there are more, right?"
"Yeah… they… they brainwashed me… I… don't know how long it's been… I-" He looked to the side and saw the Nidoran he was kidnapping. He started crying. "Oh Arceus, they were going to make me do the same thing they did to me…"
"Do you know where they are?"
The Quilava shook his head. "I can't remember… I'm so sorry…"
Axe picked up the cloak on the floor. "It's a good thing you snapped out of it when you did. I might've killed you otherwise."
The Quilava pointed at the cloak. "That's… how they control us…"
"Hmm. Guess I'll destroy it, then. I still feel the urge to rip something to shreds." He bit into the cloak and just started having at it. It was completely destroyed. The Quilava then set the shreds on fire.
"Final question: What's your name and pronouns?"
"Uhh… Obsidian, and he/him." He wasn't really expecting such a personal question.
Axe then noticed a Nidoran tied up in ropes and released him. Then he pulled out an Escape Orb to teleport the three to Treasure Town.
---
"Yeah, so the most horrifying part isn't watching everything that's left slowly die, because by the time you see it, they've been dead for who knows how long. The most horrifying part is actually what comes after . The complete nothingness. Pure silence. Pure darkness. Nothing moving. As if time itself had stopped. And it's so so cold. Just thinking about it makes me shiver…"
Sierra,  Uni, and Delta had listened to Kilo explain how he had lived long enough to experience the death of his universe. They were absolutely horrified to hear what he had been through.
"No offense," Uni said, "but how old are you?"
"The large star in the sky during the day, that's called the Sun, right?" said Kilo, as if it were somehow related to Uni's question. Uni said yes, but he was pretty confused on where he was going with this.
"Assuming it took the same amount of time for your Sun to form as it did for mine, I guess I'm…" Kilo trailed off. "Oh shit," he whispered to himself, hoping Delta didn't hear that.
"What's wrong?" asked Sierra.
"I'm… I'm older than this entire universe… Ten times over…" Kilo got up, sat in a corner, and put his hands on his head as he was having a crisis about how old he was.

BOARD GAME NIGHT EVERY NIGHT, BABY!! WOOOOO!!!
This time, Nero hosted Board Game Night outside in the middle of town, because way more people are joining this time. Mostly to get close to the famous duo, but it couldn't hurt to play a game or two, right? Or three. Or maybe twenty-eight. Because he brought twenty-eight board games. And much, much more. Because to Nero, Board Game Night isn't just for what people usually consider board games, but rather any tabletop game. Want to play Go Fish? There's some decks of cards at a table. Maybe you're in the mood for a puzzle? There's a whole area for that.
"Welcome to Board Game Night!! There's… a LOT of people tonight, wow. I had to move everything outside just for tonight, hah."
Nero pointed to a table with a large box. "To your left is the 'Table of Infinite Dungeons (not the Mystery kind)' where you, along with a group of any size, can embark on an adventure, where everyone together creates the story!" Nero then pointed to another table with decks of cards, boxes full of puzzle pieces and other stuff. "To your right is the Solitaire Area. Anything that you can play by yourself will be there. Of course, if you somehow find a way to play them with multiple people, no one's gonna stop you."
Nero then sat down at the center table. "This is the Tutorial Table. Just like, grab any board game and plop it down here and I'll teach you how to play."
Suddenly, Axe, Obsidian, and the Nidoran appeared. The Nidoran went home. Obsidian was bleeding everywhere, so Axe took him to the hospital. Everyone just watched as Axe took him away. As soon as they left their field of vision, they went back to gaming.
Kilo and the rest of the team showed up to Board Game Night too. In fact, all of the humans (except Axe, who was at the hospital) had also shown up.
Kilo picked up the deck of UNO cards and sat down with Nero. "I see you have UNO," said Kilo. "Have you ever heard of DOS?"

Full Text Below (+ Bonus Drawing!)
Uni woke up to the sound of a double bass filling the house. He sat up, and saw Sierra scratching Kilo's chest very rapidly.
"How are you not getting shocked?"
Sierra stopped for a second, then shook his hand in slight pain. He didn't even look at Uni as he said "Who said I'm not?" before continuing to play Kilo.
"Why are you still doing it??"
Delta came out behind the other two. "He gets paralyzed every time they make out, I don't think he cares."
Uni just sighed. He had been with them long enough to just stop caring anymore. "I'm gonna head to town to buy some supplies since we're running low, you want anything?"
"We need more Pecha Berries," Delta said.
"We bought a month's supply like a week ago, how are they gone already?"
Uni and Delta looked at Sierra and Kilo, who were making out again.
---
"That's how," Delta answered.
Uni went to the Kecleon Shop to buy some orbs and seeds… and lots of Pecha Berries. Unfortunately, they ran out of those.
"You already bought our entire supply! You'll have to wait a bit before we get more, sorry!" said the green Kecleon.
"If your team is getting poisoned that much… Maybe a Pecha Scarf might be useful?" said the other Kecleon. 'Wait, that sounds a little rude, sorry.'
Uni had forgotten that Pecha Scarves were a thing. That would surely save tons of Poke since they wouldn't have to stockpile berries because 'SOMEONE can't control himself,' he thought to himself.
"A Pecha Scarf costs around the same as 20 Berries each," said one of the brothers, but Uni wasn't looking so he couldn't tell which, "…since they're pretty hard to find nowadays, but…"
"Thankfully, only Sierra needs it. He's the one getting poisoned multiple times a day," Uni said, casually.
"Is… is he okay?" The brothers were very concerned for Sierra.
The entire time Uni was talking to the Kecleons, many Pokemon were hiding in a bush nearby, eavesdropping. They were whispering among themselves.
"He gets poisoned everytime he and Kilo make out, but he keeps doing it, so I guess he's… fine?"
"They make out everyday? Arceus, I wish that were me…" Kangaskhan whispered, which made everyone else turn to her in complete shock.
Uni overheard whispering, and went to check it out. The eavesdroppers were too busy being shocked that they didn't notice Uni eavesdropping on them.
"Wait, Kangaskhan, you like… like like him?" Duskull whispered, slightly loudly.
"Can't a single mom have her own interests?" Kangaskhan replied, slightly loud.
Electivire scratched his head in confusion. "Yeah sure, he's… uhh… y'know… hot… but like, Kilo? He's not even a Pokemon, right?"
"What? No, I meant Sierra."
"Oh."
"Electivire… You got something to admit?" Duskull teased. "Do you like like Kilo?"
"UHHHHHHHH-"
He opened the door to the house and saw Sierra on top of Kilo, and then he remembered that Sierra literally cannot move. But he didn't have anything to cure the poison, so he just sat down to take a nap. "It's the middle of the day… Now I'm taking a nap… What have they done to me…"
Uni decided to go home, as he couldn't care less about this. Turns out the Kecleons actually ran out of Pecha Scarves and they didn't realize it until Uni tried to get one.
Delta was worried for Sierra, especially since Uni couldn't get anything to treat the poison. He was running around the room panicking.
Sierra tried to calm Delta down, but he had trouble moving his mouth. "Don'd… worr..y… Evythin 'll be fine…" And then he went back to kissing Kilo.
Kilo felt a little guilty for accidentally poisoning Sierra… again… but he felt that if Sierra was okay with it, then maybe it actually is okay to keep going.
The day passed, and no one did anything about Sierra being poisoned. He honestly didn't want anyone to do anything about it. How else would he build an immunity? If he simply got poisoned enough times, he'll eventually be able to kiss Kilo without getting poisoned, right?
---
Thus began a long week of Sierra constantly paralyzing himself, simply because he wants to show his affection.
Back at Paradise, Josh's team was getting worried because Josh, Johmathoscalomew, and Hydreigon haven't come back yet. Ever since Josh left, Emolga was really mad since they just left without telling anyone, and also since he wasn't invited. To get his mind off of that, he would do jobs on the Bulletin Boards along with Dunsparce, Virizion, and a random Pokemon on the team.
One day, after a long mission, Emolga went home to go to sleep, when suddenly, Hydreigon just spontaneously appeared right in front of him. Startled by that, Emolga slapped one of Hydreigon's heads. He immediately apologized, but then also started complaining about Hydreigon not telling anyone where they went or that they even were leaving.
"Well, about that…" Hydreigon started. A few hours of rambling later, Hydreigon finally finished explaining everything to Emolga. It was very late at night, so he decided he would go to sleep before telling anyone.
The next morning, Emolga gathered everyone in Paradise to tell them what Hydreigon told him.
"Long story short: We gotta go to the Grass Continent. Bad stuff gonna happen. We gotta go now."
"NAT 20, BABY!!" Pyra shouted.
The team gathered up supplies and started traveling to Treasure Town. They didn't know how long they'd be there, so they packed as much food as they could.
---
"We're not even using a D20 here…" Phos said.
Nero had convinced Josh to bring some board games from the human world, because he still wanted to have Board Game Nights, even if he's in another continent. So Nero and Josh invited their friends, and some others to play. Axe also wanted to join, and so did Phos, who dragged Sky along with him. Sky was always too busy thinking of what the disaster Xatu foretold could be, that he didn't play at all.
Josh shouted "UNO!" despite the fact that they were actually playing Catan. No one except Nero bothered to even read the rules, so they were just freestyling it. Many dice were rolled. There really shouldn't have been so many dice rolls. Someone shuffled in a normal deck of cards with the Catan deck, so sometimes instead of getting a resource, someone might get a 3 of spades. Axe kept trying to play as if it were Go Fish as it was the only game he knew. It was a mess.
But they had fun. And in the end, that's all that mattered.

Chapter 13
It was early in the morning, about 4:30 AM, when Uni woke up. Everyone else at Sierra's house was asleep, so he went out. There was something important he needed to ask someone. And so he went to the inn where everyone was staying, and sat down at a chair, waiting.
Half an hour later, Axe came downstairs and saw Uni sitting, so he approached him. "Is there a meeting soon or something?" Axe asked. Uni shook his head and told Axe that he was just waiting for someone, so Axe left.
Axe went to Sharpedo Bluff and sat on the edge of the cliff, legs hanging in the air, watching the sun rise. Suddenly, he heard a voice right behind him, which startled him, almost making him fall off. He got up and saw who did that, and it turned out it was Sky and Phos. "Hey, please don't startle people sitting on a cliff, I almost fell off." Axe complained. Sky apologized.
"What are you doing here, anyway?" Phos asked.
"I'm watching the sunrise. Helps me feel better."
"Do you feel bad or something?", asked Sky.
Axe shrugged. "I always do."
"Oh." said Sky and Phos in unison.
Back at the inn, Uni had been waiting for two hours now. He had seen Josh and his team come downstairs, but ignored them. They weren't the Pokemon he wanted to talk to. He rested his head on his hand, as he was getting tired. He didn't get much sleep last night, as his sleep schedule is completely in shambles. His team does jobs at night, and sleeps during the day, while his body wants to do the opposite. He was about to fall asleep, but then Nero and Pyra came downstairs. He immediately woke himself up, and gave Pyra a stare that basically said 'we need to talk.'
Pyra walked outside with Nero, before telling him to stay there since she needed to do something inside. She went inside and saw Uni leaning against a wall, arms crossed, glaring at her.
"So. It's Pyra now, huh?" Uni said, still glaring.
"Look, I can expl-" said Pyra, before being cut off by Uni laughing, which confused Pyra a lot.
" Hah, sorry , pretending to be mad is really hard. Nice name, anyway. "
Pyra was relieved that Uni wasn't mad. "Uhh… thanks…" However, she felt like she knew where this conversation was going.
"I still can't believe you came back after all these years… Where were you?? You just left without telling anyone! I- I…" Tears started forming in Uni's eyes. "I missed you… so much…"
"A- are you alright?" Pyra had never seen Uni cry before, so this was completely new to her.
Uni cried for a few minutes before finally being able to stop himself. "S- sorry about that… I'm alright now."
"How did you even know it was me? Don't I look completely different now?" Pyra said, as she gestured to her entire body. "I mean, I evolved and also changed my-"
"Turn around." Uni interrupted.
"Huh?"
"Turn around." Uni said again. Pyra turned around, and Uni poked her ponytail. "You're using our friendship bracelet as a hair tie. That's how I could tell."
"Oh." Pyra turned around again to face Uni.
"By the way, have you heard from Liz?" the two asked each other at the same time.
"Oh." replied both.
"How's life been?" Uni asked, trying to change the topic.
"It's been good. I had to stop a meteor from crashing onto the planet one time, it was pretty wild. How've you been?"
"I…" Uni looked back on his entire life ever since Pyra and Liz left him. He realized that it was horrible. 6 years in prison, and since all two of his friends left, no one was there for him once he got out. He was abandoned by everyone he knew. He never made new friends, and he never moved on from his old friends leaving. He was alone.
"Yeah, I've been doing pretty well, I guess." Uni lied. "I… I should probably go now. See you later."
He walked home.
Josh, Johmathoscalomew, and Hydreigon went for a walk in the forest. They had planned to go home a few days ago, but the fact that something bad is probably going to happen soon made them decide to stay a little longer. Whatever is going to happen, it would definitely be here, so it would be a bad idea to just go home.
"Hey, Hydreigon," Johmathoscalomew asked, "is the world in danger right now?"
"Hmm… Not at the moment, no…" Hydreigon replied.
The Snivy turned to Josh. "Should we tell the rest of the team to come here, since whatever is gonna happen seems pretty serious?"
The Oshawott thought to himself for a whole 5 minutes. "Maybe…"
"It took you five minutes to come up with a 'Maybe'?"
Josh thought to himself for another 5 minutes. "Yeah, sure."
"Alright, when we get home, we can send a letter to Paradise… Actually…"
Johmathoscalomew turned to Hydreigon again. "Can't you just teleport there?"
"Oh! That's right! I'll go there right now." Hydreigon said right before disappearing in an instant.
Sierra woke up a few hours past noon, but Kilo and Delta were still asleep. Suddenly, Uni came in, visibly upset. He sat down at a corner and loudly cried. Sierra would've gone to comfort Uni, but he was too tired, even though he just woke up. He went back to bed.
A few minutes later, Kilo woke up and saw Uni crying. He got up and then he sat next to him.
"Hey…" Kilo said, still a little sleepy. "Did someone hurt you or something?"
Uni shook his head and kept sobbing.
"Ohhhh!" Kilo said as if he understood. "Psychological torture, right?" (He did not understand.)
The sheer confusion that question inflicted upon Uni was enough to make him stop crying for a bit. He quietly whispered "What the fuck, Kilo."
"Hmm…" The Toxtricity tried to think of any reason why Uni would be crying. " Oh ! Is it the feeling of dread and pain whenever you think that you're alone, always have been alone, and always will be alone for the rest of your life, because everyone you've ever known and loved left you or died, forcing to you live by yourself, but you just can't handle it, because you can't handle being alone, and you just can't take it, and you just want to die but you can't and so you're alone and no one will ever be there for you and-"
"I think you're projecting a bit. But… surprisingly… you're somewhat right?"
"Oh, you're immortal to-" Kilo asked, before being interrupted.
"No, the… being alone part."
"But… you got us, right?"
Uni looked at Kilo, then at Sierra and Delta. Then back at Kilo. "...Nope."
" oh. " Kilo looked a little sad about that.
"As soon as I finish my service, I'm going to the woods to wallow in my sadness for the rest of my life, away from everyone else." Uni said, getting up from the corner. "I'm going to hate myself for this, but… I have to."
"Uh. No you don't?"
"I do-"
"Nuh uh."
"You wouldn't get i-"
"You'll stay one year in the woods and then you'll come crawling back to society, craving social interaction with anyone. ANYONE . And you'll be taken advantage of. And you'll regret the day you ever thought it was a good idea to leave everything behind." Kilo said, with a look in his eye that suggested he knew what he was talking about.
"Let me guess, you did the same thing?"
"Oh, no, that was a friend of mine."
"…And how're they doing?"
"Oh, he's dead." Kilo said nonchalantly.
"…Of course he is…"
Kilo stood up, stretched his arms, and offered to help Uni up. He refused.
"Hey Uni, wanna help me look for some sticks?"
"…What?"
Kilo and Uni (along with Delta, who also wanted to tag along) were at a nearby forest, looking for sticks.
“Can you tell me why we’re doing this?” Uni didn’t really want to do this, but he didn’t want to stay at home either.
“You’ll see!” Kilo said enthusiastically, as he picked up a stick and examined it. “Hmmm… This should work…” He put down his backpack, and took out a spool of electric silk he bought a while ago. After fiddling around with the stick and silk a bit, he finished making… something. Uni didn’t really understand what it was.
“It’s a bow,” Kilo said right before stroking it across his chest organs, making a beautiful sonorous sound. His organs had also electrified the silk on the bow. “Wanna try playing?”
Uni had to admit, it was a pretty sound. He reached for the bow, but then got shocked so he yelled in pain.
“Oh. Right. Electric silk. My bad.”

Chapter 12
Sky had gathered everyone once again. This time, they were in a restaurant, as it was lunch time. Kilo sat at the opposite side of the table from Josh, and glared at him the entire time. Josh decided to ignore Kilo.
Josh: "You know, I'm kinda craving some ice cream right now."
Axe: "I thought ice cream didn't exist in this world?"
Josh: "Well yeah, so I'm heading back to the human world for a bit. Anyone want some?"
Axe: "YOU CAN GO BACK? AT WILL?? WHENEVER YOU WANT???"
Josh: "Uhhhhhhhh-"
Hydreigon: "Well, you see-"
Johmathoscalomew: "I'll explain. Don't wanna be sitting here for like 6 hours. Long story short: I made a wish that lets Josh travel between both worlds whenever he wants. And it was granted. So. He can do that."
Hydreigon: "Although, I'm not entirely sure whether he can take objects from the human world to this one… That would be a little concerning if he could."
Axe started groaning.
Sky: "Hey, you alright?"
"Let me get this straight." Axe pointed at Kilo. "You're immortal…" Then he pointed at Josh: "You can go back to the human world whenever you want…" And he looked at Sky. "What, can you like, see the future or something?", he asked sarcastically.
Phos: "Ha… a- about… tha-"
Axe: "I am going to throw myself out this window."
Sky: "Okay, everyone just. Stop. Okay? Listen. I gathered everyone here for a reason. Don't you think it's suspicious that there are FOUR people from a different world here in the same town?"
Axe: " I just came here because I was traveling all around the world. Maybe it was just a coincidence?"
Sky: "Is it though?"
Phos: "Sky, what are you implying?"
The Lucario stood up and put his paws on the table. "Listen. Every time a human has come to this world, there's been some catastrophic event that the human had to deal with, right?" He started listing with his fingers: "A human in the Air Continent had to deal with a meteor strike, I had to fix time, and I've heard stories about the two of you saving the world." He pointed at Josh and Axe as he said the last part. He then turned towards Kilo. "You just came here a week ago. Something must be up. And the fact that we're all here makes me wonder: How terrible is it that FOUR of us are here? Like we're like 4 out of the entire 5 of the people not from this world, all in one place. That terrifies me."
"Hey, Kilome-", Phos started.
"Just Kilo is fine.", Kilo interrupted.
"Okay… Kilo. Have you noticed anything strange around here?", the Luxray continued. Kilo shook his head.
"Have you been having any dreams telling you what to do?", Johmathoscalomew asked. "That happened a lot with Josh. (Although, you shouldn't really trust dreams in our experience…) " He quietly added that last part.
"Yeah, don't trust any voice you hear in your dreams," Sky also added.
"Is that a common issue or something??" , Axe asked, VERY confused.
"Don't trust voices in your dreams telling you what you should do, but if you do hear some, that probably means something bad is going to happen. Trust me.", Josh said.
" How about I kick you in the face? I still haven't forgiven you for what you did to me yesterday." Kilo retorted angrily, before getting up from his seat.
Sierra grabbed his arm and pulled him down to his seat. "You and I both know that your kicks would probably kill him. So don't. "
Josh stood up. "I suddenly feel like my life is in danger, so I'm going to go for a bit. I'll see you guys later. (I really gotta see if I can bring stuff to this world.) " He then started glowing as he was surrounded by a ball of light, and then flew out and into the sky.
Uni had his mouth open for the entire conversation, absolutely dumbfounded.
"What the actual f-"
The Xatu of the Air Continent stood at the cliff's edge, staring into the sun.
"Xatu. Xatu. Hey. Xatu. Xatu." , a voice annoyingly whispered, before being joined by another.
"Xatu. Xatu. Xatu. Xatu. Xatu." Xatu was being poked all around, while the whispers continued. And then two more Pokémon joined in the whispering and poking.
" Xatu. Hey, come on. Xatu. Xatu."
Alakazam facepalmed and whispered to himself. "Everyone is so immature."
"Hey, Alibi-"
"ALAKAZAM."
"Whatever, Allegory. You're the one who wanted to talk to Xatu, so I don't know why you wanted us to come," Nero said, the Blastoise poking Xatu even harder now. "I thought perhaps he would tell you more than us, since you're a human-" Alakazam replied, before being cut off.
"OH, SO YOU WANT ME TO DEAL WITH THIS . I see how it is. "
"WELL-"
"The Grass Continent," Xatu interrupted. "Go to the Grass Continent." Nero stopped poking Xatu. "Okay, then what?" Xatu shrugged. "There's someone you should look for. Perhaps multiple people. If I figure anything else out, I'll send my brother there a letter."
Nero was about to head out, before being stopped by Pyra. The Blaziken looked very suspicious at what Xatu said. "Are you 100% sure it's the Grass Continent? Last time you said anything about continents, you were stuck between Water and Mist. Now it's suddenly Grass?"
"Yeah, my bad."
"You've got to be kiddin-"
"Pyra, let's go.", Nero interrupted, as he knew she would probably pick a fight with Xatu. "See ya, Alliteration! Bye, Charizard and Ty-Ty!"
Charizard and Tyranitar were still poking Xatu the entire time, but Charizard stopped after hearing what Nero called Tyranitar. "Ty-Ty? Really?"
Tyranitar shrugged. "I honestly don't mind the nickname. He just called me that one time during Board Game night, and I just went with it." "Nerd."
Over the next week, the four teams (Axe counts as his own.) in Treasure Town met up at various places to see if anything unusual had been happening. To pass the time, they would sometimes tell stories about their adventures. One day, they met up at the inn Axe and Josh's team were staying at, and a Blastoise along with a Blaziken walked in.
Phos whispered to Sky. "Psst. Sky. You don't think…"
Sky whispered to himself. "We're all going to die."
Axe overheard Phos and Sky whispering and interjected. " You can't just say that without explanation!"
Sky cleared his voice as he prepared to go ask the Blastoise a question. He approached the Blastoise, and asked "Hey… uh… do you mind if I ask you a question?"
The Blastoise turned around. "Uh… go ahead?"
"You wouldn't happen to be that Blastoise from the Air Continent that was originally a human, right?", he said in a very concerned tone, which worried the Blastoise. "What would happen if I said yes?"
"You've GOT to be kidding me! SERIOUSLY??" Josh shouted from the table. "SO LITERALLY EVERY SINGL-" Johmathoscalomew covered Josh's mouth.
The Blastoise was very confused, but started to connect some dots in his head. A Lucario and a Luxray… an Oshawott with a Snivy and a Hydreigon… a Fraxure… And then he realized. "…Every… single human? Here? In this room??"
Sky nodded. The Blaziken shrugged and patted the Blastoise on the back. " WELP , that makes things easier, doesn't it? I think we found the group Xatu wanted us to find." The rest of the group got up to greet the Blastoise and introduce themselves.
"I'm Nero," said the Blastoise, pointing to himself. "That's Pyra," he said, pointing to the Blaziken. "So. 5 out of the 6 humans are right here, right in this room?"
"Wait, wait, wait, wait. SIX?" Sky asked loudly.
"Yeah, there's another human in the Air Continent, but like, he's a prick, he shouldn't count-" Nero said casually, before being interrupted by Kilo.
"Speaking of not counting. I'm also not a human-" Kilo said, before he got interrupted by Josh, who was licking some ice cream.
"Yeah, but you count anyway, so…"
"Wait, where did he get ice cream? I thought that didn't exist in this world?" Nero asked.
"I brought it from the human world," Josh answered.
"YOU CAN DO THAT???" Nero quietly yelled in surprise.
Uni was sick and tired of dealing with these people, so the Swampert went home.

Chapter 11
Axe woke up in his hotel room. He went downstairs, and walked outside. He rubbed his forehead in pain as he had a headache. He would always get headaches every other day, but there was nothing he could really do about it. He wasn't paying attention as he bumped into a Lucario.
Axe stepped back. "Agh, sorry, I wasn't looking."
"No worries," the Lucario replied. "Actually, can I ask you something?"
"Huh? …Sure?"
"Are you that Fraxure from the Human World?"
Axe groaned. 'Not again…' , he thought to himself. He nodded, anyway. "Unfortunately, yes. Why do you ask?"
"It's just that, well, there are now THREE Pokemon not from this world here, and now I'm just wondering… Why?"
Axe was confused. 'Three? Who are the other two?' , he thought. But he was also confused about the Lucario's question. "Why what?"
"Why are so many people not from this world gathering in Treasure Town?
"How should I know?"
"Fair point, but… Do you think it would be a good idea if we gathered together to think about it?"
Axe tilted his head. " We? Are you one of the other two?"
"Oh, yeah, I should probably introduce myself, sorry."
The Lucario stuck out his hand for a handshake.
"My name is Sky, and I was also a human before coming to this world."
Sky also quietly whispered "Put a little asterisk on that, since I technically am from this world, but also not."
Axe's confusion kept growing with every sentence Sky has said. "Wait, so are you or are you not???"
" I… should explain later. Maybe we could meet up here later, along with the third? How's 3?"
"Wha- Uh. Sure?"
"See ya!", Sky said as he walked to Sharpedo Bluff.
Axe didn't really have anything to do, so he went back to his room to nap until 3:00. He went back downstairs to see Sky, along with eight other Pokemon.
Axe sat down at their table. "Which one's the third?"
Sky gestured to a Toxtricity and an Oshawott. "Turns out there's a fourth, which is even weirder."
Josh, the Oshawott, simply waved.
Axe: " …Wack ."
Kilo, the Toxtricity, was looking around, slightly uncomfortable. " So… um… Why… are we here?"
Axe: "Because we're all humans from the Human World, I assume?"
Sky: "Ok well, I'm not actually from the Human World, but-"
Kilo: "I may not be from this world, but I'm also not a human-"
Josh: "Yep, that's exactly it! I'm Josh! I live in the Mist Continent, but I decided to come here on vacation with my friends Johmathoscalomew and Hydreigon!"
Johmathoscalomew and Hydreigon silently waved.
Kilo looked nervous, but decided to introduce himself anyway. " I'm… "
Kilo sighed. "My name is Kilometers. Call me Kilo. I'm from another world, but no, I'm not a human. Never was."
Kilo motioned to a Zangoose, a Lairon, and a Swampert.
Kilo: "They're my teammates, but they're more like my family now, to be honest."
Uni shuffled his chair to the side. "Please don't include me in your family. I have better things to do."
Sky: "I'm Sky. This Luxray right here is my partner, Phos."
Everyone except Axe had introduced themselves. He was the only one left, which made him very nervous.
"I… I'm Axle. B- but lots of people just call me Axe. I'm fine with any nickname, to be honest."
Josh: "Hey Axolotl, do you have a partner? That seems to be a common thing among us."
Johmathoscalomew: (Axolotl? Really?)
Axe looked at his scarf. That scarf was originally his partner, who he considered to be his brother (As in, his brother turned into the scarf via an Itemizer Orb). He sighed.
"Not anymore."
Josh: "Oof. Yikes."
Johmathoscalomew smacked Josh on the head.
Axe wanted to change the subject from his dead brother, so he decided to ask the group a question.
Axe: "So. How did you guys die?"
This question received a collective "What?" from everyone in response.
Axe: "You said you're not from this world right? So you must've died to get here… right?"
Josh: "Uh, no? Who said anything about dying?"
Kilo: "I actually can't die."
Everyone looked at Kilo skeptically.
Sky: "No one here… died. I mean, how would we be here if we were dead, right?"
Axe: "Well, I'm here."
"Huh?" , everyone said in unison, again.
Axe: "Wait, am I the only one who died to get here??"
Uni: "Imagine dying. Can't relate."
Sky: "You died???"
Axe: "Yes???? I got shot in the head??"
Axe pointed to a small mark on his head, which is a bullet wound scar.
Kilo: "Ah, I hate when that happens. Gives me a massive headache every time."
Axe: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'EVERY TIME'?????"
Kilo: "Oh, I get shot a lot. A shot to the head used to knock me out cold for like an hour, but now it's just a minute. Still a massive headache though-"
Sierra: "WHY DO YOU KEEP GETTING SHOT IN THE HEAD??"
Axe: " HOW DO YOU KEEP GETTING SHOT IN THE HEAD?? HOW ARE YOU NOT DEAD??"
Kilo: "Like I said, I can't die."
Axe: "That's so unfair."
Kilo: "Sorry for literally being unable to die???"
Josh: "He's immortal?? Man, I wish that were me-"
Kilo, suddenly very loudly: "No you don't. Trust me."
Axe: "I'm… going to go outside for a bit."
Axe walked outside to take a break from what has now devolved into shouting. But he could still hear them.
"GET OFF OF ME"
"YOU'RE IMMORTAL, HUH? HOW ABOUT WE FIND OUT FOR REAL?"
"AGH, STOP, THAT HURTS-"
"BUT AREN'T YOU IMMORTAL?"
"I STILL FEEL PAIN! THAT'S LIKE A MAJOR PROBLEM WITH IMMORT- OW!"
"Stop fighting!"
Uni walked outside, and leaned against a wall, sighing.
Axe: "Are they always like this?"
Uni: "We all have literally only just met today."
Axe: "…Why are they fighting, then?"
Uni: "Who knows."
Johmathoscalomew came out, dragging Josh by the legs, and left. Hydreigon also came out, apologized to everyone for Josh's behavior, and followed the Snivy. Everyone else also came outside.
Sky: "We… We didn't even get to talk about… the whole point of this meeting…"
Kilo, catching his breath: "He… doesn't even… have claws… How… did he… scratch me… so… bad??"
Uni: "I'm going home."
Sky, exasperated: "Not you too!!"
Kilo: "I… think I'm… gonna pass out…"
And then he did, right before being picked up by Sierra.
Sierra: "I gotta go get a first aid kit from my house, bye!"
Sky: "nooo…"
Everyone except Sky, Phos, and Axe left.
Phos: "…Well that was a waste of time."
Sky: "Please stop talking."
Axe: "So… um… now what?"
Sky: "Man, I don't know anymore, go home or something. I'll try to get everyone to come back another day."
Axe: "Alright then, well, I'll be upstairs if you need me. Goodnight."
Phos: "The Sun is still out-"
Axe: "Goodnight."
Sky: "Goodnight."
Back in his room, Axe went back to sleep. Most nights, his dreams are simply his brain making him go through traumatic events all over again.
Axe was in a large gray hall that looked endless. 'Not this again…' , he thought to himself. He walked through the hall, knowing exactly what will happen and how he'll feel. But he knows he can't stop it, as he doesn't know how to wake himself up while dreaming. So he kept walking for what felt like hours, until he reached an altar.
"Yeah, yeah, I already know what's gonna happen. Just come out already so I can get on with my life."
A Nidorino came out from behind the altar. Axe started digging through his bag, looking for a specific item. At the same time, a portal behind the Nidorino was opening.
'What a pain.'
Axe pulled out an orb and held it up. The Nidorino fell down on the floor, and turned into a scarf.
'Do I really have to go through this every other night?'
Axe jumped into the newly formed portal.
"Hey! I'm back! My brain has nothing better to do than to make me kick your butt again, so here I am!"
Axe was in a different dimension now. The floor was crumbling, but floating, and gravity simply did not function normally. There was nothing but a vast blue void. The ground started shaking, as a large shadow started to form in front of Axe.
"Ugh, you're always so dramatic. Get on with it so I can beat you up, Tina."
From the large shadow rose Giratina. Axe pulled out an arsenal of orbs and seeds, and absolutely destroyed Giratina. And then he woke up.
'Yippee. Awesome. Incredible. I hate my life.'
Nero: “I feel like something important is happening right now…”

Chapter 10
CW: Murder. Death.
Uni was following Delta back to his family's home, to make sure he gets there safe. He kept following Delta, until he suddenly told Uni to stop.
Uni: "What's up?"
Delta: "Stay here, I need to do something real quick."
Uni: "No? I'm gonna follow you anyway. Again, you're THREE. "
Delta: "Fine."
Delta, followed by Uni, turned left and started looking around.
Uni: "What ar-"
Delta shushed him.
Delta, whispering: "We have to be sneaky."
Uni, also whispering: "For what??"
Delta ignored the question and kept sneaking. Eventually they came across a Spearow that was asleep.
Delta: "Don't move."
Uni: "I… don't like where this is going…"
Delta snuck up on the asleep Spearow, and snapped its neck.
Uni: "WHAT. HUH???? WHY??"
Delta: "Shhh!! You're gonna wake up the others!"
Uni: "ARE YOU GONNA KILL THEM TOO????"
Delta: "…Yeah."
Delta picked up the Spearow's corpse and put it on his back, puncturing it on his back spikes for stability. Delta saw other Spearows flying away, then glared at Uni.
Delta: "I think you scared off the rest. Let's go."
Uni: "YOU JUST- YOU- YOU KILLED SOMEONE! YOU'RE THREE YEARS OLD AND YOU KILLED SOMEONE."
Delta: "This isn't the first time I've killed someone, you know."
Uni: (Is EVERYONE on this team insane??)
Delta: "You can still go home if you don't wanna see this."
Uni: "I'd feel guilty leaving you alone, but… Okay you know what, WHY did you kill him?"
Delta: "Food? Duh."
Uni: (Oh great, I think I'm gonna throw up now.)
Delta started walking again. Uni followed, from a much greater distance. The two eventually reached Delta's home in the desert. Delta put the corpse on the ground and suddenly 428 Arons started running to eat it. Delta also dropped some apples he bought. He also started doing a head count.
Delta just said "16." and sighed.
Uni: "16 what?"
Delta: "Dead."
Uni: "what"
Delta went inside a cave, and saw that no one was inside. He then went outside and talked to one of his sisters.
Delta: "Where'd they go?",
Aron #972: "One of the eggs came out shiny and then Dad ran away, screaming in happiness. We haven't seen Mom in a while too."
Uni: (Who would just leave their children alone like this??)
Aron #972, pointing at Uni: "Who's that, anyway?"
Delta: "Not important. Anyway, I'm gonna head back to Treasure Town. Please try your best to survive. I saw some Spearows hanging out in a forest nearby, maybe check back later to see if they came back?"
Delta then turned around and started walking home. Until Uni just used his badge to teleport the both of them home.
Uni and Delta teleported inside Sierra's house, and saw Sierra on top of Kilo, startling everyone (except Delta).
Kilo: "WHATHOWDIDHUH????"
Uni: "We… just teleported here- What exactly are you two doing?"
Both Kilo and Sierra's faces were red, and they were looking away in embarrassment.
Uni: "Were you two… making out?"
Kilo: "Wait, Delta, are you bleeding?"
He pointed at the blood on Delta's spikes.
Delta: "Don't worry, it's not mine."
Kilo: "Ah, okay."
Sierra: "WHOSE BLOOD IS THAT???"
Delta: "A Spearow's."
Uni: "I'm gonna go outside for a bit…"
Uni walked outside as Delta explained what happened. He  went to Treasure Town and sat on a bench with his hands on his head. (What have I gotten myself into…) , he thought. Magnezone saw Uni and decided to float towards him.
Magnezone: " Hey! How're your hours going?"
Uni: Don't you have other people's lives to ruin?"
Magnezone: "Huh?"
Uni: "You put me in the absolute worst team ever. Why couldn't you have just let me live in isolation…"
Magnezone: "No, because your sentence, remember?"
Uni: "I literally watched a three year old commit murder not even an hour ago, leave me alone."
Magnezone: "You mean that Lairon? He lives outside my jurisdiction, so there's nothing I can do about that."
Uni: "I am going to actually scream if you don't leave me alone."
Magnezone then backed off.
Uni: (Now that I think about it, maybe screaming might actually be a good idea.)
Uni stood up and walked to the beach to yell into the vast ocean.
Delta: "…And then after that, Uni teleported us both here. And that's pretty much it."
Sierra was speechless, but Kilo sure wasn't.
Kilo: "Man, I should've been doing that as a kid. Sounds so much better than accidentally setting myself on fire every time I tried to cook food."
Sierra looked at Kilo with intense concern in his eyes.
Sierra: "A- anyway… We should wash off that blood."
Meanwhile, a new person showed up in Treasure Town. The entire town started gossiping about him.
"It's a Fraxure."
"Do you think it's THAT one?"
"He has a mark on his head, I think he actually is!"
"No way, is it actually??"
Everyone started surrounding the Fraxure, excited. Some were asking for autographs, some fainted from pure excitement, and this was all overwhelming for the Fraxure.
Fraxure: "Can you all… please back off?"
And no one did.
Electivire: "Is it true that you're the Fraxure that beat up Giratina?"
Marowak: "All by yourself?"
Fraxure: "I- I wouldn't really say all by myself -"
Kangaskhan: "Wow, he's so humble!"
Joltik: "What's that mark on your head from?"
Duskull: "Can you really do Team Attacks all alone?"
The word 'alone' kept ringing in his head.
He hated that word so much because it perfectly described him. He was alone. He had no partner anymore, he had no family, and he grew distant from the rest of his team to the point that he traveled all by himself to get his mind off of what he did 7 years ago. He's been traveling around the world alone, hoping to find a town that doesn't know who he is in order to forget his past. But everyone knows. And they insist on reminding him.
He was no longer listening, no longer feeling anything but pain.
While this was happening, Sierra and Kilo were giving Delta a bath. Sierra saw what was going on, and went to the crowd. And yelled.
"EVERYONE BACK AWAY FROM THE FRAXURE. Can't you guys see you're overwhelming him?"
Sierra then made his way through the crowd and basically escorted the Fraxure away, behind a tree.
Sierra: "Hey, are you alright?"
Fraxure, shaking: "I… I- I think I need s- some time by myself…"
Sierra: "Are you sure?"
The Fraxure froze for a second, before shaking his head.
Fraxure: "I… don't want to be alone… B- but… I just… can't … do this anymore…"
Sierra: "What exactly is… ' this' ?"
Fraxure: "For the past… 3 years. I've been going around the world, trying to forget my past and move on. But… I can't do that if people know me… They always want to talk about what I did 3 years ago. But I want to forget. But they won't let me forget."
The Fraxure's eyes started watering.
Fraxure: "I just want to forget everything…"
Suddenly, Kilo showed up with Delta. They saw Sierra comforting the crying Fraxure, and decided that they probably shouldn't interrupt. So they went back to town.
Sierra: "If you don't mind me asking… What exactly do you want to forget? 'Everything' seems… a bit much. I- if you don't want to answer, that's fine!"
Fraxure: "I…"
The Fraxure sat silent for a minute.
Fraxure: "I had to… kill … my brother."
Sierra: "…Oh."
Fraxure: "I… I had no choice… In order to stop the entire world from being destroyed, I had to… do that…"
Sierra: "…If you had no choice, then don't beat yourself up over it."
Fraxure: "But-"
Sierra: "You did what you had to do. Don't ever forget that. Don't forget about his death, move on from it instead."
The Fraxure started sobbing.
Fraxure: "He… he said the same thing to me… As I…"
Sierra: "He's right, then."
Sierra let the Fraxure keep sobbing for a few minutes.
Sierra: "You know, hugs always help people feel better. Would you be alright with one?"
Fraxure: "I… don't want to be touched right now."
Sierra: "Understood."
After a while, the Fraxure ran out of tears to cry out.
Fraxure: "How… How do I move on?"
Sierra: "Whenever a loved one dies, I personally like to think that they live on in me. That they're not truly gone."
Fraxure: "Well… yeah. His spirit is actually with me, it's how I can do Team Attacks by myself. Because he's with me. In this scarf I have."
Sierra: "Was it his?"
Fraxure: "It is him. I used an Itemizer Orb. It was the least painful way I had to put him out of his misery."
Sierra was speechless.
Fraxure: "But I still miss him…"
Fraxure: "Sigh… Thanks for listening… I… I really needed that."
Sierra got up, and offered a hand to help the Fraxure up.
Sierra: "What's your name, anyway?"
Fraxure: "It's Axe."
The two walked back into town, talking. Axe went to a nearby inn to stay for a while.
Sierra met up with Kilo and Delta, and then Uni a few minutes later.
Uni: "Hey. Are we gonna do any requests or something? I only have 3 hours out of 100 done. I'd really like to get it over with."
Sierra wasn't paying attention.
"Ahem." No response. Sierra was too busy thinking to himself to hear Uni.
Sierra: (Itemizer Orb? Is he… wearing his brother's corpse? That's… genuinely messed up.)
Uni tapped Sierra's shoulder, snapping him out of his thoughts.
Sierra: " HUH WHAT ? Oh, sorry about that, wasn't paying attention."
Kilo: "You good?"
Sierra: "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. So what were you saying?"
Uni: "I need to do my hours, so can we do a job or something?"
Sierra: "Oh, uh sure. Let's go to the Guild then."
After picking out a few rescue requests, the team set out to Mt. Travail.
Uni: "Just wondering. If we were to, you know, stall … Would those hours count for my volunteering?"
Sierra: "Pretty sure 'Hours Volunteering' and 'Volunteer Hours' aren't one-to-one."
Uni: "Is that a no?"
Sierra: "Why don't you ask Magnezone?"
Uni: "Ugh, fine, no stalling then."
Right as they left the starting room, a Shedinja appeared.
Uni: "Oh, aren't Shedinjas like, super weak? This should be easy."
Uni used Water Gun, but the Shedinja took no damage.
Uni: "What??"
Sierra: "Wonder Guard. Only moves that are super effective against it will hurt it."
Delta: "I don't think any of us have any super effective moves against it. What do we d-"
Suddenly, Kilo ran and drop-kicked the Shedinja, launching it into a wall, defeating it instantly.
Uni: "Yeah, 'Super Effective moves only,' huh? Sure."
Uni: "Also. Kilo. What in the world was that?"
Kilo: "I'm just really good at kicking."
The team sped through all of the mountain, rescuing Pokemon on the way, until they reached the summit.
Kilo: "Anyone here?"
Uni: "Doesn't seem to be anything here."
Delta: "Except for a chest."
Sierra: "Hm. Neat."
Sierra opened the chest, and found 1000 Poke inside.
Kilo: "Cool, so like… let's go home I guess. Gonna be such a long walk, now that I think about it. "
Kilo grabbed the chest and used his leg to break a piece off.
Delta: "What are you doing?"
Kilo: "Well, I'd rather not go through the whole mountain again to get back home, so I'm just gonna…"
Kilo jumped off the side of the mountain, on top of the wooden board, and started sliding down.
Uni: "Uhh… He knows we can just… teleport home, right?"
Sierra: "I think he forgot…"
Sierra went to the broken chest, and grabbed another piece.
Sierra: "Teleport home, I'll go get Kilo."
He then also jumped off the side of the mountain.
Uni: "Okay, yeah, everyone on this team is insane. Let's go."
Uni and Delta teleported back home.
As he approached the bottom of the mountain, Kilo jumped, did a flip, and landed on his feet. He shouted in excitement. Sierra, on the other hand, was not good at snowboarding without snow (or even with snow, but that's besides the point). He stumbled, and started rolling down the mountain, straight onto Kilo.
Sierra: "Owww…"
Kilo: "Whoa, you alright?"
Sierra pulled out his badge and teleported the two back home.
Sierra: "I'm… going to sleep. Night."
Sierra immediately fell asleep, still on top of Kilo.
Kilo: "I think I'll sleep too."

Chapter 9 - Two Bros Chilling in the Hot Spring, 5 Feet Apart
Sky and Phos were chilling in the hot spring. They didn't sit next to each other, but were still pretty close. All was quiet, until they heard faint whispers…
"yooooo, ♪two bros chillin in the hot tub, five feet apart cause they're not gay!♪"
"What?"
"Why are we whispering?"
Sky looked at the three pokemon who were watching them and whispering. It was an Oshawott, a Snivy, and a Hydreigon.
Sky: "I'll have you know, we're both gay."
Phos: "Not for each other, but still."
Josh turned to Johmathoscalomew, pointing at Sky and Phos
Josh: "hah, clueless"
Johmathoscalomew: "Josh, come with me for a second."
Johmathoscalomew grabbed Josh by his ear and dragged him away. Hydreigon apologized to Sky and Phos and went with the others.
Phos: "What's their deal?"
Sky: "I don't care enough to find out."
And so, the two bros continued to chill in the hot spring, six feet apart this time.
Johmathoscalomew: "This is an intervention. Stop it. No one understands your 'vines' and 'means-'"
Josh: "Memes."
Johmathoscalomew: "Stop. Please."
Hydreigon: "I mean, even if no one understands him, is it so bad for him to have fun?"
Johmathoscalomew: "You don't understand. Every morning, he tells me to 'slay'. Every Wednesday, he says 'Sparkle On!' and then 'Sparkle Off!' the next day. Every time he throws something, he screams 'yeet'. He tells me that he 'misses his wife' even though he never had one?? Help."
"Does he know?"
"YOU-"
All of Treasure Town watched as Sierra carried Kilo to the hospital. Everyone started gossiping.
Duskull: "Did Sierra just… carry that dude to the hospital? Didn't think they actually cared about anyone…"
Kangaskhan: "I hope that Toxtricity will be alright…"
Marowak: "Perhaps that powerhouse isn't as heartless as we all thought."
Kecleon 2: "Told 'ya he's alright."
Electivire: "He?"
Kecleon 1: "Yep, Sierra's a he! …Did you not know this?"
Electivire: "No one really talks to him, so we didn't actually know."
Duskull: "With a name like Sierra, you'd assume otherwise, right?"
Kecleon 1: "No? Not really?"
While all of Treasure Town was talking about Sierra, Xatu just finished reading the letter from his brother. He walked into the crowd.
Xatu: "Ahem. I've received a warning from my brother."
Duskull: "Oh, the prophet guy?"
Xatu: "Yes. He-"
Electivire: "What happened?"
Xatu: "I'm g-"
Marowak: "He's getting to that, you numbskull."
Xatu: "H-"
Duskull: "Yeah, don't you know it's rude to interrupt people?"
Xatu: "…"
Everyone was silent, waiting for Xatu to say what it was he wanted to say.
Xatu: "P-"
Duskull: "So, what is it?"
Electivire: "Yeah, don't keep us wai-"
Xatu gave up and straight up left.
Marowak: "…what? Wasn't he gonna… huh?"
Kilo and Sierra left the hospital together, and went into town to look for Uni and Delta. They then saw all of Treasure Town standing around in confusion. Kilo walked up to the crowd (followed by Sierra, since he wants to make sure he doesn't collapse again).
Kilo waved hello. "Hey! What's going on?" Everyone else turned to see Kilo (and Sierra).
Kangaskhan: "Oh! Are you alright? We all saw you pass out."
Kilo: "Everyone? That's embarrassing…"
Electivire: "Sure was! Good thing Sierra took you to the hospital. How kind."
Marowak: "Yeah, that seemed pretty uncharacteristic of you, Sierra…"
Sierra, glaring: "What's that supposed to mean?"
Marowak: "UHHH… uhhh… I'm outta here."
Marowak tried to run away, but Sierra grabbed him by the scruff and lifted him. Marowak started flailing his arms around.
Sierra: "Care to elaborate?"
Marowak: "No! Put me down! Please!!"
Kilo sighed. "ANYWAY. What's everyone's gathered up for here.. for…… wait."
Electivire: "Uh… Wanna try that again?"
Kilo: "What everyone's… what's……"
Electivire: "You need a minute?"
Kilo: "Everyone here. Why."
Duskull: "Xatu got a message from his brother."
Kilo looked confused. "…Okay? What does tha-"
Duskull: "Usually means a world-ending catastrophe is gonna happen."
Kilo: "Oh... Waitwhatdoyoumean'usually'"
Electivire: "Oh, he predicted a meteor being on a collision course to his town, time stopping in various places here, a cult summoning Giratina from the Distortion World, an entire continent being mind-controlled, et cetera, et cetera."
Duskull: "Granted, it was always vague warnings, but he was always right. So whenever Xatu gets a letter from his brother, we just gotta hope it's not here and that someone will deal with it."
Kilo: "…And this is normal?"
Duskull: "Yep!"
Kilo: "Sounds inconvenient."
Electivire: "That's probably the understatement of the year."
Kilo: "Alright then… I… I'm gonna go now… Bye."
Kilo walked away from the crowd to go look for Delta and Uni. Sierra stayed behind and was still holding on to Marowak, who had just accepted his fate and gave up.
Uni and Delta had been sitting on a bench, not doing anything, until Kilo came up to them. Delta told Uni what had happened, so Uni stood up just to step away from Kilo.
Kilo: "Why did you just?"
Uni: "Don't want you to throw up on me. Simple."
Kilo: "Rude."
Kilo picked up Delta and walked back to the crowd. Uni decided to stay put.
Sierra noticed that Kilo's eyes looked very tired.
Sierra: "Hey, Kilo? You look pretty tired, you alright?"
Kilo: "Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. I mean, I was out for a few hours, right?"
Sierra: "Yeah, but you were unconscious, not asleep. Big difference."
Kilo: "Look, I'm fine, okay? No need… to… yaaawwwn worry…"
Kilo was trying his best to stay awake, but was failing. He felt his eyes close, and fell asleep standing up. Sierra put down Marowak, grabbed Delta from Kilo's arms, and woke him up.
Kilo: "zzz… mmm… whuh?"
Sierra: "Go home and sleep. I'll see you there later."
Everyone else raised their eyebrows at the same time at that sentence (🤨). They also started whispering. Kilo basically dragged himself home and immediately went to sleep on the floor.
Duskull: (They're living together?)
Electivire: (They're roommates?)
Marowak: (Do you guys think it's more than just 'roommates'?)
Electivire: (What do you mean "more than just roommates?")
Duskull: (Like… y'know… You know what he means.)
Electivire: (No, I don't.)
Marowak: (They're literally raising a child together. Need I say more?)
Electivire: (Yes?? Please say more?? I don't get it??)
Duskull: "Gay. They're gay. They sleep together and raise a kid together. What else do we have to say."
Sierra: "what-"
Electivire: "Ohhhhh! That makes sense! Yeah they're totally gay then."
Sierra: "???"
Marowak: (QUIET, HE CAN HEAR YOU TWO!)
Sierra: "I'm… gonna go now." And then he did.
Sierra opened the door and saw Kilo asleep on the ground, but the sound of the door opening woke him up. Sierra put Delta down, and went to Kilo's side. Kilo was too tired to move his body, so Sierra just laid down with him. The two snuggled together and Sierra started purring.
"How do you feel?" Sierra asked, still purring.
"...I feel... nice..."
The two wrapped their arms around each other. Delta decided that now would be a good time to bring food to his family so his new dads could have some alone time.
On his way to his family's home, Delta heard someone shouting.
"YOU- AAAAGHH. WHY?"
Delta hid in a nearby bush. He saw a Snivy, an Oshawott, and a Hydreigon talking to each other.
Hydreigon: "Maybe we should calm down…?"
Johmathoscalomew: "TOO LATE."
Josh: "Okay, okay! I'll stop for now. Don't want to make you blow up in anger or something."
Hydreigon: "Maybe you should take a break? The Hot Spring's right here, so…"
Johmathoscalomew: "Good idea…"
Johmathoscalomew and Hydreigon went to the hot spring. Josh followed for a bit before suddenly stopping.
"I know you're there. Come out."
Delta came out of the bush, absolutely surprised.
Delta: "How did you know?"
Josh: "Oh, I didn't. I just say that every time I leave a place just in case."
Delta: "Oh."
Josh: "What were you doing there anyway?"
Delta: "I was just walking by and then I heard shouting, so I hid. Is everything okay?"
Josh: "Oh, yeah, everything's fine, don't worry!"
Delta: "Alright then, I'll just go along then…"
Josh: "Wait."
Josh turned around to look at a tree.
Josh: "You there, the Swampert behind the tree. Come out."
Uni came out from behind the tree, annoyed.
Uni: "I thought you didn't know when people were hiding, how did you even know I was a Swampert?"
Josh: "Oh, I just saw you from the corner of my eye. What are you doing following this little child?"
Uni: "I'm making sure he gets to his destination safely. He's only 3."
Josh turned to Delta. "You know this guy?"
Delta nodded. "Yeah, we're on the same team."
Delta showed Josh his bandana, and then pointed to Uni's matching bandana.
Josh: "I see… Alright then!"
Josh turned around and went to the hot spring with his friends. It was very awkward at the hot spring. Josh tried to ignore the tension by making small talk but nothing worked. Sky and Phos were still there and were getting sick of Josh and his friends, so they got up and went home.
As Sky and Phos went back to Treasure Town, they went from shop to shop, doing their normal business. Eventually, they got to Xatu, who then told them a catastrophe his brother warned about.
Sky: "That's… That's really bad."
Phos: "Are we sure that there actually IS someone dealing with that?"
Xatu: "My brother's never lied, so I would assume so."
Sky: "Yikes… Hope that gets dealt with soon.'

Chapter 8
cw vomiting
Everyone in Pokemon Square gathered in front of Nero and Pyra. They just finished telling everyone what Xatu told them.
Pyra: "…So yeah, he knows nothing."
Nero, sarcastically: "Say your prayers, we're doomed."
Everyone started screaming.
Pyra whispered in Nero's ear: "Dude, you know they don't understand sarcasm."
Nero: "Fine, fine."
Nero shouted: "EVERYONE CALM DOWN. Xatu said he'll come back with more information, okay? We're not actually doomed, I was just joking."
Everyone sort of calmed down, but they were still anxious.
Pyra: "He said that there's already someone dealing with that, so don't worry."
Team ACT made their way to the front of the crowd.
Alakazam: "Did he say who?"
Nero: "No, Alchemy, he didn't. Remember, he'll tell us… later."
Charizard: "Wait… you said he knows nothing, but he knows that it's being dealt with? How?"
Nero: "Man, don't ask me, ask him yourself. I'm leaving."
Sierra and his team woke up in the morning, since Kilo wanted to do something with Sierra during the day.
Uni: "Oh great, you're finally being normal!"
Everyone else decided to ignore what Uni said. Kilo picked up Delta and they all went to Treasure Town, and everyone there fell absolutely silent upon seeing Sierra.
Uni: "…I'm outta here, this is too awkward." He walked away from the group.
Sierra, Kilo, and Delta got some apples to eat.
Sierra: "So. Why are we up so early?"
Kilo: "I thought that maybe if you talked to some people, that they'd realize what a nice person you are!"
Sierra: "And how exactly should we approach this?"
Kilo: "Ummm… okay I may have gotten a little distracted last night while trying to come up with the plan uhhh… Got it!"
Kilo: "We pick a random person, walk up to them, and uh… talk. We make them talk to you. How's that? We just need to pick a victim-"
Sierra: "Victim?"
Delta: "I don't really know what you're hoping to do, but forcing people to talk sounds like a bad idea."
Kilo: "Okay, maybe we don't force them to talk…"
Sierra sighed. "Let's just get it over with…"
Kilo was drinking from a water bottle he bought a few days ago. The water looked a little cloudy, but he couldn't taste any difference, so he drank it anyway.
"One second," Kilo said, right before handing Delta to Sierra and running to a nearby bush to throw up. Sierra went to check up on him.
Delta: "Why is it purple?!?"
Sierra: "Is that… poison? I know you're a poison type, but… puking poison? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Kilo groaned. "N-no. I… I'm…" He kept vomiting. "Ugh…"
Sierra put Delta on the ground.
Sierra: "Delta, can you stay with Uni for a bit?"
Delta nodded and went to look for Uni.
Sierra: "Do you need help walking?"
Kilo: "I'm… fine."
Kilo tried to walk, but immediately collapsed into Sierra's arms. Sierra sighed. He picked Kilo up, and carried him to the hospital. Kilo kept saying he was fine, but Sierra ignored him.
In the Mist Continent...
Josh is an Oshawott. His partner is a Snivy named Johmathoscalomew. Johmathoscalomew refuses to let anyone shorten his name. Anyone who dares shorten his name must face the most severe of punishments.
Josh and Johmathoscalomew created Pokemon Paradise, a place where… Pokemon… live? The Snivy never really specified what the goal of Paradise was, just that he wanted to make it. Josh decided to go along with it since he really had nothing else to do. Stuff happened, they beat up an ice dragon, and then destroyed a snowflake of despair. It's been months since Josh returned to this world, and nothing notable happened ever since. The two just sat idly in their home everyday.
One night, Josh and Johmathoscalomew laid down on the grass, looking at the stars in the night sky.
The Snivy started speaking, but not exactly directed to Josh. Just speaking to say something.
"It's been awfully quiet recently."
"It's pretty noisy, actually, with all these Pokemon living here."
"You know what I mean. Nothing really happens anymore! What do we do? I don't want to just stay at home all day, everyday for the rest of my life, not having anything to do!"
"Nothing can really top defeating that… snowflake… thing. What was it called?"
"Bittercold? Or something like that?"
"Ever since I came back, everything's just felt… dull."
The two were silent for a few minutes.
"Hey… Josh… can I ask you something?"
"What's up?"
"Why did you come back?"
"Didn't you wish for me to come back or something?"
"Yeah, but it only worked because you wanted to come back. At least, that's what Hydreigon told me."
"…"
"How was your world? The human world?"
Josh thought to himself for a whole 5 minutes.
"Meh."
"Oh."
Josh got up. He was going to go to bed, but then saw lots of Pokemon having a fun time around a campfire. He walked over there, followed by Johmathoscalomew.
Josh: "Hey, what's up!"
Scraggy: "Yo, it's Josh and Johma… Jo… Johmath… uhh… You! Yeah!"
Johmathoscalomew : "Say it."
Scraggy: "What?"
Johmathoscalomew : "Say my name."
Scraggy was terrified. He knew the consequences of not remembering his name, yet could never actually remember his name.
Scraggy: "Hey, spare me, please!"
Everyone else started to slowly back away.
Johmathoscalomew: "I will. If you can say my name."
Scraggy: "Josh, you gotta help me, man!"
Josh didn't respond.
Scraggy: "Josh? Please? Come on, help me! Joshawott?"
Josh instantly punched Scraggy's eye, making him scream in pain.
Scraggy: "AAAAAAAGH, WHAT WAS THAT FOR, YOU PIECE OF-"
Quagsire: "Hmm?"
Johmathoscalomew smacked Josh's head. "Yeah, what was that for, Josh?"
Josh: "Never call me Joshawott again."
Kilo woke up on a bed in an unfamiliar place.
"W-where am I?"
"You passed out on the way here."
Kilo couldn't make out who was speaking, but could make a guess as to who was talking.
Kilo whispered: "Sierra?"
"How do you feel?"
"Not good."
Another voice was talking to Sierra, but Kilo wasn't conscious enough to hear. Kilo closed his eyes.
An hour later, Kilo woke up again, fully conscious.
Kilo: "whuh… what happened?"
Sierra: "You threw up poison and passed out, so I brought you here."
Kilo: "Where is… here?"
Kilo looked around. There was only Sierra and a Chansey.
Chansey: "This is the hospital! Thankfully, nothing severe happened."
Kilo: "Ah."
Chansey: "You need to take better care of your body. Be sure to drink lots of CLEAN water frequently!"
Sierra: "Where have you been drinking water, anyway?"
Kilo: "Where do people normally get water? I couldn't find any normal drinking water source, so I had to resort to river water."
Sierra: "Remind me to tell you where the actual drinking water is."
Chansey: "As a Toxtricity, you can drink dirty water and your body will turn it into poison. The poison can't hurt you, but it can have unwanted side effects if you have too much."
Kilo: "Like?"
Chansey: "If you don't get rid of the toxins in your body in time, it can penetrate your brain."
Kilo: "Sounds bad. What would happen?"
Sierra: "Apparently, you'll lose your mind. Go berserk. However you want to phrase it. So yeah, you need to drink good water."
Kilo looked down at himself and realized that he doesn't actually know how to take care of his new body.
Kilo: "Is there anything else I should know?"
Chansey: "Like what?"
Kilo: "Like… how do I get rid of the poison? I don't think throwing it up is really the best way."
Chansey: "You can turn the poison into electricity by rubbing your fingers on these chest organs."
Kilo scratched his 5 chest organs, and the sound of a Double Bass came out.
Kilo: "What."
Sierra scratched one of Kilo's chest organs as well, and the same sound came out.
Kilo: "That's… weird."
Sierra kept scratching at his chest organs, which kept making music.
Kilo: "That actually feels pretty nice."
Kilo sat up, and got off the bed.
Sierra: "Are you sure you're fine enough to walk?"
Kilo: "Yeah. I'm sure."
Kilo and Sierra walked out of the hospital together.
Kilo: "I am kinda thirsty, though…"
Josh apologized to Scraggy the next day. Scraggy was still extremely mad at Josh, but was too scared to say anything about it.
Josh: "Hey, Johmathoscalomew. You said things were too boring around here?"
Johmathoscalomew: "Yeah, but that doesn't mean you should PUNCH people!"
Josh: "Why don't we go on vacation? Explore the world, see other continents, that kinda stuff. Would be fun, right?"
Johmathoscalomew: "Yeah, but… still, what was that about last night?"
Josh: "I don't know, maybe being cooped up in Paradise for so long has made me a bit tense, hah."
Johmathoscalomew: "Alright… umm… Then I guess we could go on vacation. You wanna invite anyone else to come?"
Josh: "I don't know, maybe Hydreigon? I mean, he knows the entire world or something, might be nice to have him tag along."
Johmathoscalomew: "Anyone else?"
Josh: "Nah"
Johmathoscalomew: "When do you wanna go?"
Josh: "I'm down anytime soon."
Johmathoscalomew: "Alright, I'll ask Hydreigon and we could probably go tomorrow!"
Josh: "Awesome."
The Xatu that lives in Treasure Town just got a letter from his brother in the Air Continent.
"Oh… That's not good."

Chapter 7
Different continents? In my fanfic? More likely than you think!
The Air Continent is known for its overabundance of rescue teams. One time, a human was turned into a Squirtle, and saved the world from a meteor, with the help of his Torchic partner. This inspired even more people to make rescue teams, in hope of being as famous as them. New towns popped up all around the continent to accommodate for these new teams.
But even though all these new towns appeared, people still love to visit Pokemon Square to see the two saviors of the world. And so Pokemon Square expanded to the point where it's as big as 4 towns. And so more shops opened up.
Pyra, a Blaziken, was asleep on top of Nero, a Blastoise. It was a bit early in the morning, but Nero was hungry. He got up, which made Pyra roll off his back, waking her up.
"hey…", Pyra groaned. "What was that for?"
"You wanna get something to eat?"
"No, I wanna get some more sleep."
"Alright, I'll bring you an apple or two."
Nero kissed Pyra on the cheek and left the house.
Nero walked to Pokemon Square. He went to talk to the Kecleon Brothers there.
Nero: "Hey Kecs, what's up?"
Kecleon 1: "Oh hey Nero! Nothing much, just packing up some stuff to travel with."
Nero: "Oh, where to?"
Kecleon 2: "A place called Baram Town, ever heard of it?"
Nero said, with disgust: "Isn't that where all those rich pokemon live? With all those windmills? Whatcha going there for?"
Kecleon 1: "Well, our cousin just set up shop there, and he wanted us to visit."
Nero: "How many cousins do you have?? They're everywhere! It's actually pretty impressive."
Kecleon 1: "Ever since our cousin moved into Baram Town, there should be… 98 cousins in this continent. Including us, 100."
Nero: "100 Kecs…"
Nero then started chuckling to himself.
Kecleon 1: (What? I don't get it…)
Kecleon 2: (Is this some human joke?)
Kecleon 1: "Uh… ANYWAY, we're actually about to head out soon. So if you want to buy anything, now would probably be the best time."
Nero: "Oh, alright then. Can I get uhh… 5 Apples? Yeah, 5 should be good."
Kecleon 1: "Alright, that'll 125 Poke."
Nero paid 125 Poke and put 5 apples in his bag.
Nero: "Alright, well, have a nice day, you two!"
Kecleon 2: "You too!"
Nero then left and walked to the center of town.
Kecleon 1: "…He really doesn't like Baram Town, huh?"
Kecleon 2: "Hmm… Oh well! We should finish packing."
Much more Pokemon than usual were at the center of town, including Team ACT. Nero walked up to them.
Nero: "Hey, Alcatraz, what's up?"
Alakazam: "It's Alakazam."
Nero: "Yeah whatever, Albuquerque."
Alakazam: "Alakazam."
Nero: "Anyways… What's going on here?"
Tyranitar: "That's what we came here to find out."
Xatu walked up to the crowd, and everyone fell silent.
"A great catastrophe is going to destroy the entire world. Good luck."
Xatu then walked off. Most of the Pokemon started panicking and screaming.
Nero: "Hey Alkaline, you're not gonna try and kill me for this one, are ya?"
Charizard: "Dude, we said we were sorry about that!"
Nero: "Yeah, yeah, just messing with ya."
Tyranitar: "Can't believe Xatu just… left. Didn't even elaborate."
Alakazam: "Someone should probably go ask him for more information."
Nero: "Why don't you, Algebra?"
Alakazam: "We were about to go rescue an Emolga in Elegant Gorge. Sorry."
Nero: "Never heard of that."
Charizard: "It's a new Mystery Dungeon that showed up outta nowhere."
Nero: "Fine. I'll go see Xatu. Good luck on your rescue or whatever, Alphabet."
Nero went home.
Charizard: "Ugh, it's like he's doing that on purpose to piss you off, Alakazam!"
Tyranitar: "He obviously is."
Alakazam: "We should go."
Team ACT left to do some rescues.
Back at home, Nero woke Pyra up.
"Hnnnh… lemme sleep a little mo… zzzzz"
Nero picked Pyra up and put her on his shoulder, and walked out.
Halfway to Xatu, Pyra woke up, still being carried.
Pyra: "Wha… What are you doing?"
Nero: "Oh you're awake. We need to go see Xatu.
P: "Why?"
N: "Man just came into Pokemon Square, told everyone that we're all gonna die, and didn't even elaborate before leaving."
Nero put Pyra down.
P: "So we're heading to Xatu to ask what he meant?"
N: "Yep."
The two eventually reached Xatu, who was standing at a cliff's edge, looking off into the distance.
Nero: "Hey Xatu! What the hell did you mean by 'A great catastrophe is going to destroy the entire world'? You can't just not elaborate!"
Xatu: "Hm? I felt like I forgot to mention something… that must've been it."
Xatu turned around to see Nero and Pyra.
Xatu: "No need to worry about it! I'm sure it's being handled as we speak.'
Pyra: "By who?"
Xatu: "Probably another human or something."
Nero: "Is there any way we can help at all?"
Xatu: "The source of the catastrophe is in another continent. So unless you can somehow get to the Water Continent, then no."
Pyra: "So it's in the Water Continent?"
Xatu: "Yes."
Nero: "You know we can just… walk there, right?"
Xatu: "Really?"
Pyra: "Yeah, we've actually been there before. That one island with those giant Mystery Dungeons that are like 99 floors each is part of the Water Continent. You can just… walk there."
Xatu: "I see…"
Xatu turned around to look off into the distance again.
Nero: "Something wrong?"
Xatu: "Maybe it was the Mist Continent?"
Pyra: "Are you saying you don't know?"
Xatu: "Or was it the Sea of Wonders?"
Nero: "That's not even a continent!!"
Xatu: "..."
Pyra: "Please don't tell me you DON'T know."
Xatu stayed silent.
Nero: "You've got to be kidding me."
Xatu: "I'll come back to Pokemon Square as soon as I remember."
Pyra was extremely furious, and made some obscene gestures that Xatu could not see. Nero had to basically drag her away so they could leave.
In the afternoon, Uni woke up. Kilo and Sierra were both asleep, but Delta was missing.
'Meh. I don't really care enough to go looking.'
This was a lie. He did care enough to go looking. He asked around Town to see if anyone had seen Delta. No one had. He ran back to Sierra's house to wake them both up.
Uni: "Wake up!!"
Kilo: "huuh? whaa?"
Uni: "Your kid's missing!"
Sierra: "WHAT?!?"
Sierra immediately got up.
Sierra: "WHERE DID HE GO??"
Uni: "I don't know! I just woke up, and he was gone! No one in Treasure Town knows either!"
Delta opened the door. Sierra immediately ran to him and held him in his arms.
Sierra: "Where were you??"
Delta: "Feeding my siblings. I would've gone in the morning, but I didn't want my dad to see me, so I left in the middle of the night."
Kilo: "Oh. Are you alright? Did you get hurt anywhere?"
Delta: "No, I'm fine. Really, no need to worry."
Sierra: "Are you sure? You're completely fine?"
Kilo and Sierra were both looking all over Delta to make sure he was actually fine.
Uni: "What, are you two like his new dads or something?"
Kilo's face went visibly red. "Hi- His dads? Would that make us... y'know...?"
Sierra: "Kilo, your face is completely red."
Kilo: "N-no it's not!"
Delta: "I'd like some new dads…"
Sierra: "I'm fine with that."
Uni: "Yeah, yeah, you're a happy family, congrats. Can we do some requests so I can get my hours over with?"
Sierra: "Later."
Sierra went back to bed. So did Kilo. The two were snuggling together again. Delta laid down next to them, and Uni just stood there.
'You've got to be kidding me,' he thought. 'They literally JUST woke up. I'm never going to finish my hours at this point…' Uni was about to walk out the door, when he heard purring. 'That's a surprise…' He went outside to take a walk.
He avoided Treasure Town completely, as he didn't feel confident enough in being able to be near people without accidentally stealing stuff. He walked all around the outside of town multiple times, until the Sun set. Afterwards, he went back to Sierra's house, where everyone just woke up.
Uni: "Oh, NOW you wake up? When everyone else is about to fall asleep? Seriously?"
Sierra: "You're just going to have to get used to that."
Kilo: "I like sleeping during the day. 'Tis what it's."
Uni: "wh. no. don't say that. You can't just- aagh. Nevermind. Are we going to work or what?"
Sierra: "I'm gonna stop by the Kecleon Shop to buy some stuff, then we can go."
Uni: "Alright, fine. That's perfectly fine. Totally."
He wanted to scream.
Treasure Town at night was much quieter than in the day. Which makes sense, since most people are asleep. Sierra (who was carrying Delta) went to the Kecleon Shop to buy some seeds and orbs, Kilo looked at some clothing stores, and Uni stood in the middle of town, wanting to scream into the sky.
Kecleon 1: "Welcome to the Kecleon Shop! How may we help?"
Sierra: "Can I get 2 Blast Seeds, a Reviver Seed, and 5 Sleep Seeds?"
Kecleon 1: "Alright then, that'll be… 300 Poke."
Delta's stomach rumbled.
Sierra: "Actually, can you also add 4 Apples?"
Kecleon 1: "That's 350 Poke, then."
Sierra: "50 Poke for 4 Apples? Did the price go down?"
Kecleon 2: "Eh, y'know, the economy's in shambles."
Sierra: "Oh."
Sierra paid, gave an apple to Delta, and then met up with Uni.
Kilo was having the time of his life shopping for clothes. He remembered seeing lots of teams with matching scarves, so he decided to buy 4 orange scarves. He also bought a backpack, and some electric silk from Galvantula.
Uni: “Looks like you enjoyed yourself.”
Sierra: “What’s with the scarves?”
Kilo: “Well, I thought it looked nice. But I also saw that lots of teams had matching scarves, so I thought… y’know, why not get some for all of us?”
Uni: “You know I’m only here temporarily, right?”
Kilo: “…Oh. Right.”
Delta: “I’ll take one!”
Sierra: “Matching scarves… I missed that a lot, actually. I’ll wear one too.”
Uni: “Don’t think that because everyone else is wearing one, that I will too.”
Sierra and the rest of the team arrived in the Volcanic Area, everyone wearing their matching scarves. Uni included.
Uni: “I can’t believe I’m actually wearing this…”
Kilo: “You look nice in it.”
Uni rolled his eyes.
Uni: “Let’s get this over with.”
Sierra’s team speedran through the entire dungeon, and rescued a Wooper.
Delta: “Hmm. For a place called ‘Giant Volcano,’ it sure is small.”
Uni: "What the hell was a Wooper doing in a VOLCANO?”
Sierra: “It’s better to not ask.”
Kilo: “Let’s get outta here, I’m burning up.”
The team arrived home, and Uni immediately went to sleep.
Delta: “Wow, he’s out.”
Kilo: “Different sleep schedule’ll do that to ya.”
Delta: "I guess I'll go to sleep too…"
Delta slept next to Uni.
Sierra went outside. Kilo followed. The two laid on the grass and looked up at the night sky.
Kilo: “Whatcha thinkin about?”
Sierra sighed.
Sierra: “5 years ago today, everyone in my team left, so I decided to move here. For 5 years, I would always look up at the night sky, longing for someone to be with.”
Kilo: “Must’ve been hard when everyone’s scared of you.”
Sierra: “What? What do you mean by that?”
The two sat up.
Kilo: "Everyone in Treasure Town is terrified of you. You didn't know?"
Sierra: "No?? Are you serious??"
Kilo: "Yeah… I talked to some people on my first day here, and they said that everyone is terrified of you because of how strong you are."
Sierra: "No wonder Treasure Town was always so quiet…"
Kilo: "You know what? I got an idea."
Sierra: "Oh yeah? What is it?"
Kilo: "You'll see tomorrow morning. Let's go to sleep."
Sierra: "Wha- Okay… then…"
The two went inside and fell asleep together.

Chapter 6 - Full Party!
pretty short
Uni's hands were tied up, put in gloves, tied up again, then handcuffed, then put into a bag, then tied up again. Magnezone was not going to take any chances. The next day, in the afternoon, he was brought to the entrance of Wigglytuff's Guild. Magnezone asked Diglett to call Chatot up. After a minute of waiting, Chatot came up the ladder.
Chatot: "What brings you here, Magnezone?"
Magnezone tapped Uni's shoulder.
Magnezone: "This guy's gotta do Community Service, remember?"
Uni silently mouthed: "Please don't do this."
Chatot: "Alright, I'll make an announcement to the Guild, and we'll see who has any open spots."
Chatot and Magnezone went down the ladder. Uni couldn't climb down, as his hands were tied behind his back.
Chatot called everyone in the Guild for an announcement.
"Ahem. We are looking for teams with an open spot, as we have someone who will temporarily be joining for community service. If your team is full, feel free to leave."
Everyone went back to doing what they were doing.
"Seriously? Every team is full?" Chatot turned to Magnezone. "Well, I don't know what to say."
Sierra, Kilo, and Delta (who was being carried in Kilo's arms) were also there, looking at the bulletin board for some rescue requests. Delta told Sierra that he wanted to tag along, as he needed to get money. Kilo didn't really have anything else to do (and his kicks were extremely strong), so he was also tagging along.
Chatot saw Sierra, and then got an idea.
"Hey, Magnezone. You see Sierra over there? He has a team. Only three, it seems. Maybe they cou-"Chatot was interrupted by Uni faceplanting on the floor.
Uni screamed in pain.
Uni: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
Magnezone turned to Uni.
Magnezone: "Why did you fall down?"
Uni continued screaming in pain.
Chatot: "Like I was saying, Sierra seems to have an open spot."
Magnezone floated over to Sierra to explain the situation.
Sierra: "I'm not part of the Guild, you know."
Magnezone: "You're not?"
Sierra: "We're a rescue team, not an exploration team."
Magnezone: "Well, it doesn't really matter if you're in the Guild or not, a team's a team. So… will you let that guy temporarily join?"
Everyone looked at Uni struggling to get up. Kilo put Delta on the ground, and went to help Uni up.
Sierra looked back at Magnezone.
Sierra: "How long is 'temporarily'?"
Magnezone: "100 hours of doing requests. He's not supposed to be paid, as well."
Sierra: "Eh, whatever, he can join, I guess."
Kilo untied Uni.
Uni: "...Why would you do that?"
Kilo: "How else are you gonna get outta here?"
Delta's stomach rumbled.
Sierra: "Guess that's our cue to leave. Let's eat."
Kilo, Sierra, Uni, and Delta climbed up the ladder to the exit. They went to a restaurant that opened up fairly recently in Treasure Town. Sierra and Kilo ordered steak, Uni ordered a salad, and Delta ordered some apples.
Delta: "I've always wondered… where does the meat in steak come from?"
Kilo: "Look. It's better if you don't ask. As soon as you try to think about where steak comes from and why we eat it, nothing will ever be the same again."
Uni: "Sheesh."
Sierra: "Oh, great. Now I'm questioning the morality of eating meat."
Kilo: "Are you a carnivore? You look like one."
Sierra: "...yeah?"
Kilo: "Don't feel guilty. It's natural to eat meat. Nothing immoral about that."
Uni: "But who did it come fro-"
Kilo: "STOP. DON'T."
Sierra: "Let's… just eat, okay?"
Delta: "Sorry about that…"
Kilo: "It's fine, don't worry about it."
The four continued to eat in silence. After paying, Sierra, Kilo, and Delta went back home. Uni decided to go back to his old house.
He knocked on the door, and his mother answered.
Uni's mom looked at him for a few seconds, then slammed the door.
Uni knocked on the door again.
"Leave! You're not wanted here, you criminal!"
"Mom! It's me! Come on, let me in!"
"No. I don't want you anywhere near this family, you hear?"
"Then where am I supposed to live??"
"Maybe you should've thought about that before going to prison."
"Bu-"
Uni's mom slammed the door on his face again.
Uni walked to Sierra's house and knocked. Kilo answered the door, and it was obvious he just woke up from a nap.
Kilo: "oh… he-yaaaawn. …hey, waddup."
Uni: "My parents kicked me out of my house, so I was wondering, could I stay over for a bit?"
Kilo closed the door. After a minute, he opened the door again.
Kilo: "Sierra's okay with it. Come in."
Uni came in, and saw Delta and Sierra asleep. Kilo laid down next to them, and fell asleep. Uni sat down in a corner, not yet ready to fall asleep. He watched the rest sleep, because he didn't really have anything else to do. After a while, he noticed Kilo reaching out with both arms to Sierra in his sleep. He then wrapped his arms around Sierra, and the two started cuddling, which slightly amused Uni. He eventually got too tired to keep watching, so he fell asleep.
Delta woke up in the middle of the night, and went out the door.
