i dont remember if i said this b4 but i think it would be super funny if gamefreak added a new normal type eeveelution that just evolves at level 45 or something and the pokedex entry is just “it took so long for scientists to discover this eevee evolution because no one has ever raised an eevee without it evolving into something else by accident”

Like the concept of Pokémon seemed just very plain to me, like u find Pokémon’s and collect and continue.

Which it is, but its layered ofcourse as u have so many forms and sorts of Pokémon’s. And the worldbuilding is so rich, with the trainers and their appliances. The tradition of young children being sent out to seek Pokémon’s and how this entire human race is relying on these vibrant creatures, which also affects the story in this game as there is the ‘villains’ whom are against the usage of Pokémon’s and are pledging for their freedom.

And in a way they sound truly not so bad, at least their moral idea. The way they act ofcourse is why they are villains as the moment u kick a little cute Pokémon is the moment ur already the opposite of morally correct.

Now im not that far in but for someone who had limited pokemon knowledge up till now, im excited to delve into all of the storylines and worlds of Pokemon.

honest question what were teams magma and aqua doing. what exactly did they hope to achieve by either drying the world out or flooding it. supervillains messing with the ecosystem for a higher purpose is one thing but literally were they just bored or something
