I wrote as essay for this as what was basically my make or break to getting a high level credit. I got it. But it was an interesting experience. Listening to everyone else's was cool too. It was based off of what is the meaning of life, but I see the meaning as striving to help others and the world around us no matter what and that was easy to get my point across. So I decided to talk about why people struggle to do this.

And I think the world beats this goodness, the childish wonder and kindness out of us. Which is really unfortunate. (And biblically calls us to be like kids if you're into that stuff)

I really could sum it up in a post I saw on tumblr I think (someone find it for me?)

But it went smt like this when a child asks why something goes wrong and someone responds with "life isn't fair" why do we do that? Shouldnt the response be to make life fair. Are we not in this world to help others? We have empathy for a reason.

Why do you help others?
