Today is Armenian genocide remembrance day. On april 24, 1915 started mass deportations of hundreds of Armenian intelectuals and community leaders, who were (most of the time) eventually killed. Armenian women and children were systematically r//ed and forcibly converted into islam. There were more than 2 milion Armenians in ottoman empire prior to ww1, 1,5 milion of them were viciously killed. Three millennia of Armenian civilaziation in eastern Anatolis was fully destroyed. Turkey today refuses to acknowledge genocides of christian minorities in early 20th century.

Do you know that mass ethnic cleansing of Armenians in ottoman empire inspired Lemkin to coin the term 'genocide'?

Last year in september azerbaijan allied with turkey initiated a war against Armenia. More that 5000 Armenians were murdered, thousands of Armenia families had to live their ancestrial land to not get murdered. There are hundreds of vids on internet where armenian p.o.w.s are tortured. Recently azerbaijan opened a "museum" displayind dead or dying Armenians and kids were allowed to visit it.

#i can sing all of i Elven Finnes Alt (All is Found from Frozen in Norsk) #and im a little rusty now but i could still sing Du Bare Du (You Only You) from Trolle og den Magiske Fela #(Trolle and the Magic Fiddle) (by Alexander Rybak) (Alva is best girl 🥰) #i know most of the other songs (other than the villain's songs) pretty well but Du Bare Du is the one I've practiced the most #ive also written up a singable norsk translation of the first verse of You Are My Sunshine which im decently proud of #uhhhh what else #i dont think i know Adieu (norway eurovision entry from the... 80's i think? maybe early 90's? its not one of the winners) well enough #id need the lyrics in front of me and possibly a duet partner helping me so im not gonna count it #the others im solidly sure i could sing unprompted with only the backing track #quite frankly i Elven Finnes Alt and Mitt Solksinn i can just straight up sing acapella. du bare du not so much right now #but i could get it back up to that level #anyways #oh wait i could also sing alouette in french and english cause i memorized the classic alvin and the chipmunks version as a kid #it wont be GOOD french. absolutely atrocious really. but it IS. fun thought experiment. for this purpose, you have to move back with your parents because it's an in-person job in the same city they are in. of note, this could be a temporary thing (as you can move out) but you would be expected to stay at this job for at least a year.
