It's so interesting at how things changed. Early on, Elijah protected his youngest siblings. Then the guilt from him not being able to do the same for Klaus caused him to enable such horrid behaviors for centuries, all under the guise of "Klaus will do good if he's happy."

So, in helping Kol and Rebekah, he feels he betrayed Niklaus. But the reality is, he betrayed his youngest two siblings by enabling Klaus. He could never be a good brother to all three of them at once (forget how he treated Finn, but to be fair, that was equal opportunity loathing). But I also feel circumstances never truly allowed him to.

Elijah is really such a complicated character and brother.

Diego Luna is in Katy Perry's The One That Got Away music video and it's been one of my go to music videos since Rogue One. Just letting you in on it in case you weren't aware I think you'll enjoy it.

But I will say... it is worth watching... for reasons... mainly hair reasons... but other reasons as well...

If I was Katy Perry, I'd want any excuse to hang out / make out with Diego Luna...so I get it.

Considering this man is mortified that he was in Dirty Dancing Havana Nights where he played the gentle, family-oriented, innocent but sexy Cuban waiter-turned-dancer who doesn't want to "waste the music," I'm surprised he agreed to play the other end of the cliche spectrum of a wild, artistic bad boy who literally drives off a cliff 😂😂😂😂

But I'm not complaining. I would watch Diego Luna do anything. Literally. He could sit there and read the phone book and I would be in raptures.

Yes, Diego Luna is gorgeous and charming and funny. But he is profoundly talented, creative, and courageous in his work, and I feel like he is one of the best actors of our time. I became convinced of this when I began watching Narcos in between Andor releases. Cassian and Miguel are completely different men, though one could argue there's a modicum of crossover in the way they become disillusioned. I suppose you could even say that Casssian and Miguel start in similar places but develop in opposite directions. To watch one actor play both journeys is nothing short of amazing.

One of the many things I love about Diego Luna is that he will not be boxed in to a "type" or a specific genre. He participates in unexpectedly light and enjoyable projects, like much of his voice work in animation. Or he appears in unpredictable places, like a Katy Perry music video 😀

When you sent me this ask, you probably didn't expect me to go off the rails gushing about Diego Luna...but as you can see, very little pressure is needed to send me into a full-on tornado of Diego Luna love!
