Krishna is the universe and beyond. He is vast and yet in my heart Krishna is just the gentle flute-playing darling of Gopis. Little bundle of Yashoda's joy. Yugpurush and Parambramh and Dwarkadheesh he might be for entire Aryavarta- but for Braj he is the little boy running around, the one who got tied up to the ookhal by Ma Yashoda, the one who ate dirt and bathed in river Yamuna. He is just their little Krishna, their Joy and bliss. Nothing more, nothing less.

I just found out freaking Hans Zimmer of all people has agreed to make music with AR Rahman for the upcoming ramayana movie (I thought this whole movie was just a big rumour) and honestly my mind is blown to bits but a better choice would have been MM Keeravani because he's an expert at making music for mythology themed movies and understands Indian classical music much better than Hans Zimmer idk. hard to imagine operatic music in ramayana. keeravani, along with his usual songwriting and singing team, would have come up with some banger sanskrit songs for the final battle. but then again AR Rahman did some amazing medieval style music in ponniyin selvan, so I guess there's still hope

(I still don't know if Hans Zimmer is just, like, mildly interested or has already signed the contract and all)

went to read the sati kand in shiv puran because I was curious to know what kinda married life they lived and some of the verses are so freaking cute!

like sati has finally summoned shiva after finishing her nanda vrat and my man is more excited than sati to hear her confession. he asks her what she wants and sati is freaking out on the inside because she doesn't know how to ask him to marry her and before she finishes her sentence he's like 'marry me'
