Being on this site when The Ace Discourse was in full swing was mad weird. okay so i understand completely why people hate Escape From Monkey Island (i have it in my steam library and im dreading getting to it when i get through MI2 and curse) becasue it was the first 3D monkey island game so it has a lot of issues related to that and general design choises, but i will still defend guybrush's dumb little sailor boy design that they for some reason chose. his outfit design barely makes compared to the other games and the stylization, while i personally like it, makes him look like a diffirent character while placed beside the past guybrush designs, but i'll still defend all that shit only bc LOOK AT HIM. he looks like he should have a big lollipop and a propeller cap. he got de-aged physically and is now forced to wear little sailor boy outfits with a bow in his hair. i adore it.

every now and then one of my old musical theater posts sparks up with notes again and honestly? i think it's nice that that still happens. i haven't had much if anything to do in the theatre fandom in a long time but i think it's cool that there's still new fans just getting into something that once meant a lot to me.
