Emerald cup with Persian verse carved inscription
16th-17th century. Mughal India. 41 mm H, the maximum width of the side: 38 mm.
The 252 carat cup made of pure emerald which belonged to the Emperor Jehangir in the end of the 16th century.

Finally got my rear in gear and made a new bracelet! This is a remake of a previous wire-wrapped project, which proved too rough for my rather fragile skin. It's satisfyingly heavy and solid.
Labradorite (round beads and focal) and prehnite (square beads) with glass accents (outer edges), magnetic clasps, heavy-duty beading thread.

Wire-wrapping can be a wild ride. Sometimes you start with a nice, simple idea, maybe a nice plain three-stone dangle charm for a bracelet. An hour later you really like what happened, but you have no idea how you got there.
