Kuroko no Basket Cross Colors - Story Translation Masterpost

(Alright, let’s do this.)

Since I’m so into this game right now, I’ll try to translate as much as possible of the story paths over the few last days of summer vacation and possibly during the school year too. I started with Kise’s story because I flipped a coin.

I can’t promise anything about the update frequency or the quality of the translations because I’m an irresponsible person because this is extremely time and brain cell-consuming and neither Japanese nor English are my mother tongue. I took some small liberties here and there while translating to make things a bit smoother in English and if you’re also playing the game and notice any mistakes, please do point them out to me. I’m typing down the Japanese text as I go too so if anyone wants to read that, just send me an Ask with the episode/chapter number(s).

I’ll also include some screenshots and the occasional special picture given in the stories. When there is a branching option to choose (once per episode), I’ll always be picking the one that gives the most stats (+4 Vivid Color and +4 Deep Color) in order to unlock the perfect endings.

Prologue: missing I’ll need to download the game on a third device to read the prologue again and I don’t think I’ll be doing that any time soon, so here’s a brief context: A training camp organized between Kaijou and Shuutoku becomes all the merrier when Seirin and Touou decide to join in. Cue spartan training sessions, cooking disasters, ghost stories, and some unexpected but familiar faces…

Aomine: Do it, Murasakibara!

Murasakibara: Roger.

Kise: Stop, stop!!

Midorima: The three of you are annoying. At least be quiet during lunchtime.

Kise: That’s right! So Murasakicchi, let me down.

Murasakibara: Huh?

Kise: I’ll give you some fried chicken!

Murasakibara: Mm, okay.

Aomine: Give me some, too!

Kise: Absolutely not!
